12-28: Media Day - Anthony Lynn's Presser as HC

Bobby we don't have any pitchforks you used them all up the past few months if you could spare one or two that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance -
12-28: Media Day - Anthony Lynn's Presser as HC

The questions would have already been answered and he would have had a throw away line. I didn't say they shouldn't ask him or anyone else questions. They should blast them every chance they get in my opinion. When you fire your coach and decide to bench your starting QB who is coming off the best game off his career you should put the fires out before trotting out an interim coach (who I believe is the hire) and letting him get grilled. -

Like Marrone telling Whaley to fire him? -

Doug/Terry already answered that I'm preparing for the Jets and moving forward. Bet having that line would have kept the dogs off his back. -

It was pretty clear he misspoke and adjusted well on the fly. Overall he did ok considering the organization trotted him out there without addressing the Rex or TT situation prior to his first presser. You would think that would have been the professional thing to do. -

For clarity's sake... Was EJ your preference? EJ was next man in line we have a depth chart there and it's Tyrod EJ and Cardale. EJ was next man up. So was it your decision? It was our decision. He later goes on to say he wasn't in the room when the decision was made. -
Doug Whaley is in charge of the hire, your not going to see anyone hired that will threaten him. 99.9% sure it's going to Lynn. Whaley is in good with the Pegula's and he will be able to push and pull a guy like Lynn. I'm sure they already have a working relationship and have discussed how great they are going to be together.

Roth: By firing Ryan, Pegulas got it half right and wrong

Anthony Lynn odds of becoming Bills head coach is +290. Shanahan is +300. JS is +1200. Go make yourself some money, for every hundred you bet on Lynn you get 290. -
No Pats coordinator is going to come here, from the pent house to the out house... Also Patricia is not even a serious threat to land a HC job, plenty of the Pats beat reporters have made comments about his personality. He interviewed with the Browns last year and supposedly that was a favor to BB. Obvious choice is Lynn, Whaley needs someone under his thumb or he is toast even sooner.

Bucky: Rex takes fall, but Bills' problems start at the top
CommonCents replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What about when well respected guys like Greg Bedard laugh at the team and Pegula's for their handling of this situation and their involvement in the team? He don't have an axe to grind with anyone ...does he??? -
Rex was clearly just a clown out there making an ass out of himself and being the butt of all our jokes. The ringleader sat quietly and repositioned himself to show everyone how great a roster he built once and for all. Two coaching clashes later he will run to a puppet coach in Lynn and off we go. Hey it only took this guy a few years to figuere out how compensation picks work, maybe he gets it right but I'd bet heavily against it. The Pegula's will be humbled in a few more years once they realize they have been duped by people that they trusted. I can't wait for that presser.

Did you read my comment about what Seth Joyner said about the Bills defenders? The more stuff that comes out the more damming the evidence is against a bunch of knucklehead players. They will fit right in with their backstabbing GM and soon to hire puppet coach. Such a damn clown show, Rex was a star clown no doubt but I'm afraid the ringleader just got a boost today. Garbage!!!!!

Rex Told Lynn That Lynn Would Be The Next Head Coach

Its Lynn and any talk outside of that is wasted breath. Whaley is going to want a guy he can keep under his thumb. -
Breaking News: Rex Ryan and Rob Ryan Fired
CommonCents replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A post on BBMB saying that Seth Joyner was brought in earlier this year to help coach up the D and he left. He was on radio in Philly saying the players were more interested in hanging in the lockeroom than working things out. -

So they are dumb and can't tackle...that's how you get 200 yard rushers. I don't care what scheme your playing or teaching if your playing 11 on 11 and multiple guys are running over you to that extent the problems RUN DEEP -

I find it alarming that a Sports Illustrated guy like Bedard who gets paid to break down film calls our defensive guys "dumb" and says they "just don't get it" -

Radio. He does 4 hours of break downs on 98.5 in Boston every Tuesday during the NFL season. He says Rex will be a really good d coordinator again some day. Really beating up the Pegula's for their involvement with the players this season and saying that is going to be a problem for any new coach. His guess on new coach was Jim S. -

Lynn is a total unknown he is calling plays from another guys playbook and has a short 14 games doing it. What do you know about Lynn? That the press clippings say he is well respected? I bet 90 percent of Bills fans will being hearing him speak for the first time tomorrow. I have no idea how good of a HC he would/will be but it's foolish to think the best coaching candidate available was just hanging out in this band of misfits. Just like Ed Reed was going to have such an impact right John? -
