How long has he been here? What's the plan at QB? What direction is this team heading in? He has been better than the other slop that fans had to endure but he is far from good. His lack of forward thinking is alarming and he has continually under valued his draft picks. Sure he has got some cheapo veterans to fill a few holes, that's probably not that hard to do when the roster is riddled with holes. Heck even our kicking game sucks! What player on this team would be a huge loss if they retired this afternoon? Shady? A bunch of could be goods that don't care to be good all circles around an aging back that carries them to a mediocre season. Yeah let's make sure Whaley gets to pick his own coach now because the last one walked out on him and Whaley/Rex reported had a rift shortly after the hiring. One Buffalo!! The weather might play a factor but I would go with Watkins, Smith and Inman. Buffalo and Balt both have the ability and reasons to blow out their opponents. The Chargers/Raiders game should be a shootout. Congrats on the 12-2 record, identical situation to my brother and no surprise a few of the same players! I wouldn't play either of those defenses but I have no idea what's out there. Atlanta just had a huge week and have another nice matchup? Either way I'm sure your pretty confident with this team and just want confirmation that your picks make sense so hopefully that helped.

I don't know that he is the best option or not but I find it surprising so many folks think he is even qualified. He has been a key part of a losing staff year after year. Since he promotion he hasn't impressed. Taylor has regressed further and his game plans look like the rest of the staffs. This staff looks like they game plan for about 25% of the games each year then the rest are just generic approaches to equal or lesser opponents.

Why do you consider him an obvious choice? What do you like about Lynn?

How much of that is teams filling the Rooney requirement? Hard to guess. Lynn has been inconsistent as a OC, I know it's a recent promotion but that Miami game plan and play calling cost us there.
