  1. What is going on with these LA teams! These new logos.....not good.
  2. Amen. A Super Bowl win is enough of a sports fantasy for me!
  3. CBS Sportsline graded the Bills off season an A. Pats were graded D+. Jets C- and the Dolphins B+. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2020-nfl-free-agency-grades-for-afc-east-miami-dolphins-load-up-on-defense-patriots-watch-tom-brady-walk/ This off season has made the past couple of weeks bearable.
  4. Cam doesn't seem to have many options.
  5. Hi: I took all kinds of heat when I started this thread. Well..... I just read on CBS Sportsline that the Bills are the 2nd most likely landing place for cam Newton. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/cam-newton-released-four-most-logical-landing-spots-for-longtime-panthers-quarterback/ It makes sense on many levels.
  6. Another thing that is not mentioned enough is that he wins. His 4th quarter comebacks really show his toughness and his unwillingness to accept defeat. His stats will improve. Give me a winning quarterback over one that generates gaudy stats any day.
  7. I'm not sure it's kind loyalty. Allen is s goid kid and is easy to root for. Most of us understood that he was a project that takes patience and time.
  8. I would think Allen is at the Bridgewater level with much higher ceiling. At least Josh is durable.
  9. You are most likely correct. The Bills need to remove the constraints on Allen and see what he can do unfettered. This could be an interesting year.
  10. You are most likely correct. This will be a high pressure year for Allen. It will be interesting to see how he handles it.
  11. That is a more realistic goal. I am not sure if Josh will ever have a 60%+ completion.
  12. It seems to be the prevailing opinion. I do not necessarily agree with that. I would prefer to give him as much time as possible to see what he can become. But you and I both know that if Josh does not show significant improvement this year, many on this site will be calling for his replacement.
  13. That is an interesting option. That is a real alternative to risking several years of your franchise if you make that tragic mistake. It's worth more than 2 cents.
  14. That is a good point. The only thing is it is much more difficult to find a quality quarterback than it is a quality running back.
  15. That is true. That is what makes this such a stressful season in 2020. Do we have a 5th year option with Allen?
  16. If I had Pegula's money, maybe. I am not objective. I really want Allen to succeed.
  17. Do you think that some of the drops are due to the velocity of his passes? Maybe he needs to develop a softer touch on short to medium route in certain situations.
  18. That is a tough question. I hate to give up on him. For me it depends on if he has showing improvement on other areas of his game. IE: decision making, long through accuracy, and eliminating the panic plays where is turns the ball over when trying to do too much.
  19. Some people are still questioning whether josh is our qb of the future. They think that this year is the make it or break it season.
  20. I am a Josh Allen fan. I believe that he has the physical gifts to be a generational quarterback. I also am aware of his weaknesses. Now that Josh has one of the best trio starting wide receivers in the league, what does he have to do to show that he is the Bills franchise quarterback?
  21. Thanks DJB. This took a great deal of time and effort on your part. Let's hope all the work Josh is putting in with QB whisperer Jordan Palmer pays off. In an article I read shortly after the Super Bowl, Palmer explained his technique for helping Josh become more accurate in his deep throws. After reading that article, I was optimistic that Josh will be more successful going down field in 2020. If Josh can improve this part of his game, I believe it will open up throws underneath as well. (below is a link to one of the articles from Jordan Palmer on Allen.) https://billswire.usatoday.com/2020/02/27/buffalo-bills-josh-allem-ahead-schedule-jordan-palmer/
