it's called being conservative and in yesterdays case, way too conservative. I really can not stand dennisons offense. if they had done what they did in the first half for four quarters, they would of looked like a juggernaut going in to foxboro. gives me very little hope they come out of foxboro with the win. hope they do dump him.

2nd round player. 14 games. bust? for one, you're looking at a team that may only throw for 200 yds passing in a game, or less. he hasn't had many opportunities to even catch the ball. even the drops and over thrown passes are not enough evidence to conclude whether he's a bust or not. no, he isn't branded a bust just yet.

the only way the kid starts is an injury to taylor. I'm not sold on taylor other than to fill the gap for the remainder of the season. peterman wont see the field again until next preseason and will likely remain the back up. if somehow they make the post season, they may keep taylor another season or at least compete for the position depending on the rookie they draft? one thing is sure with taylor is his inconsistency so it's hard to say he has a game like he had the first half again in the next two? certainly will be tested sunday. there will be no "depends on who the starter is" this week.

even an old cat like myself can turn a new leaf. trust me, I've been down on the team that also brought me down but I am going to let the negativity ease up some and give them a couple seasons. hell, who would of thought they would be sitting at 8-6 with a chance at the post season with two games left? that said, being a fan since the inception doesn't mean you can't leave the door open for possibilities for the future. but, since you have already shut the door, carry on with your grumpy old self and believe as you will.

my thought was he had possession, reached across the goal line (TD right there) with the ball in his hands and came down on he ball IN the end zone and it bobbled some from coming down on it? why is it that it was always my understanding that the ball crossing the goal line was a TD? is this a new rule or are pockets being laced once again for the cheaters**? some want to be snide about commenting on not watching anymore, but you have to admit, seeing **** like that has ruined the nfl. they suck for that call, big time.

I didn't go through all the prediction threads but if my memory serves me correctly, you did not pick many wins this season for the bills. although I did pick them to win today, I tend to agree they have a slim chance of winning the next three and would still need help. they failed to win the games they should have and truthfully they don't/didn't have the offense to win many in the first place to reach the post season.

to answer the initial question seriously the defense made some opportunistic plays creating a few turnovers. and because I hung my thurman thomas signed xmas ornament on the tree...
