  1. I had no idea it was a Jets fan that may explain things on the other hand I think you're just trying yank somebody's chain. Say it ain't so, Joe.
  2. foaming on? nice I was basing it off nfl.com team stats. must of read it wrong. it was yds per game where they sit at 1st position (437.4) have they improved in the last three games? 2-1, sure. points 13, 24 and 16. improvement? they have 7 games to improve as you say. I'd like to believe it isn't out of scope but they haven't shown much improvement in the last 3 games to lead me to believe they will.
  3. thing is, those 3 points you you claim that are "only 3 points" is the stat showing they are 3 points below average. that is not noise, it's a fact.
  4. puzzled are you? keep an eye on the next seven games and see if they get it done with this porous offense. I don't like to jump too far ahead but I'm not looking forward to turkey day when the nation will have eyes on a team that can not score enough points up against the the cowgirls who presently sit at the top of total (27.9 Pts/G) offense, 3rd passing, 5th rushing. I do not see any kind of shoot out in that game and if the bills get behind early I don't see them catching up. hence, why I feel they can not get it done. hey, I was as optimistic about this team as anyone else but they soured my outlook last week and looking back, they never did win a game aside from maybe the giants, in convincible fashion.
  5. not good enough, below average is going to continue to bite them in close games. if they don't pick it up pronto, like sunday pronto, they will not win many out of the next 7 games. the browns game showed me they just can't get it done. 16 points
  6. One Stat Recap: Buffalo Bills shy away from Cleveland Browns’ weakness
  7. if you're trying to say McD still has more ceiling by comparing his coaching tenure to a QB a season and a half in to his career then I'd have to say that is a pretty poor comparison. I believe McD is where he is going to remain as a HC, I don't see much more change coming. I'd like to be wrong, but feel he is who he is, an above average defensive coach but may very well be in over his head as a HC?
  8. I believe he has reached his ceiling as a HC, what you see is what you've got, unfortunately.
  9. 16 BILLS (6-3) ↓ 3 Previous rank: No. 13 The Bills looked like a middle-of-the-pack team on Sunday against the Browns, hence their placement on the Power Rankings. We saw a breakdown in three phases in Cleveland: On offense, Josh Allen sailed a couple deep balls past open receivers (sound familiar?), and Buffalo was held under 20 total points for the fifth time this season. On defense, the Browns were able to march 82 yards on 10 plays for the go-ahead score late in the fourth quarter. On special teams, kicker Steven Hauschka missed two-field goal attempts, including the 53-yarder that sealed Buffalo's fate in the final minute. At 6-3, there's no need to panic. The schedule stays light, with winnable games against the Dolphins and Broncos over the next two weeks. Take care of business there, and a playoff ticket is close to punched. But can this team be trusted right now? NFL.COM Power Rankings
  10. I really don't think it would be hard to figure out fitz game regardless of scheme and player. if so, they have the game they almost won against the bills earlier in the season to go on.
  11. I don't know exactly what you're trying to prove here but McD is nothing, repeat, nothing like Jauron. I know he isn't doing the greatest job but he is and has been much better then Jauron. it's one thing to put down the coach but you are really reaching here.
  12. there is 100 years of tape on fitz. this game is by far not going to be easy (when has it been this season) for the bills. when an offense can't score points, the defense can only do you so many favors. I'm leaning toward a bills loss as bad as it is for me to believe it but when you talk about faith, I have little faith in the bills offense to get the job done.
  13. NFL Power Rankings: 49ers could have, and should have, taken a tie 11. Buffalo Bills (6-3, LW: 7) By now we kind of know the deal with the Bills. They’re not bad but not as good as their record. They shouldn’t have lost to the Browns, but it wasn’t a shock. They are 6-3 and in almost no danger of missing the playoffs because their schedule still lines up well. You can practically pencil them in for a game at the No. 4 seed on wild-card weekend, and nobody outside of Buffalo will be too excited to watch.
  14. one snap? how long have you been around? one snap, lmao
  15. I just hate to see him call anymore games but it is what it is. I just want to think McD is smart enough to move on from him at seasons end. it's a real damn shame this franchise has had to bring in 2 bit coaches. when if they had a well established, experienced HC and OC, we would not be having this discussion and may even have a team that you could be confident in with winning and winning consistently. but, seems those coaches want nothing to do with buffalo so you end up with two bit coaches and a mediocre team, for the last 20 years.
  16. I'm right there with you, it has been disappointing and I too will watch, sometimes in agony like yesterday. but as a long time bills fan, agony and the bills seem to go hand in hand.
  17. no, no it did not. there are 7 games games left in a 16 game season. you know you know that. now, I've been down on them too but know they still have a slim shot at the postseason. if they lose to miami, the season will not be over but their chances drop dramitically in making the postseason. why look ahead, it's one game at a time and you, nor I or anyone on this board can not say with certainty they get stomped by pittsburgh. you can believe that, as well as you can believe the season is over, for YOU. I'm curious though, since the season ended yesterday for you, are you still watching? not that it matters to me but if I were done with something, I move on to other things, not post on a forum that I'm done.
  18. presently 5th seed for a wildcard. that shows just how bad the afc is this season. Steelers (5-4-0) Proj: 6th Seed Texans (6-3-0) Proj: 3rd Seed Bills (6-3-0) Proj: 5th Seed Chiefs (6-4-0) Proj: 4th Seed
  19. this is what lost the game for me. coaching, especially OC, defense aside from the goal line stands can not stop a team from marching down the field. not utilizing singletary was also a huge mistake. JA still has issues, especially with the long ball and ball security. I love the kid but I'm losing confidence in his game. can not emphasize enough the words bruce smith spoke before the washington game. "well I am I'm excited about and very optimistic about the future of the Buffalo bills. however when you want to be ranked and when you want to be considered as one of the top echelon teams in this era of football, to dethrone the king, you got to cut his head off. so you got to beat the New England Patriots*, you've got to beat the Philadelphia eagles. you have to protect your house when teams come in to play you on your home turf. you have to establish dominance and right now we just haven't made that Mark yet, but I am encouraged by what I see." like he said, they just haven't made that mark, yet. no sense in hope any more, hope is unseen and irrelevant to football to me. you either get it done or not, hope is not going to help win football games. 7 games to go, I haven't totally given up but if they lose sunday, my feeling is the post season will be out of reach. it wont bother me too much as I feel like the legend, they have not established the dominance you need in the nfl to reach the next level, which is the post season and beyond. so viewing what they have done, or lack there of, with my own two eyes this season, I am in total agreement with bruce.
  20. scoring only 16 points yesterday tells me the obvious answer is, no.
  21. no way they beat baltimore. the two home losses have come from contenders, ravens are not only a contender but I see them representing the afc in the sb. the way this offense has lacked the potential to score points with no change in sight, I am leaning toward them missing the postseason and finishing 8-8 or even 7-9? 9 games in has shown me enough to believe they are just not there and my fear is yet another regime has failed to field a contender.
  22. Daboll is holding this offense back. I'm really starting to lose complete confidence in him as the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo bills.
