Thurman did say the K-Gun consisted of 12 plays. It’s the speed and relentless tempo that wore teams out. Right now it seems we are snapping the ball with seconds to go on the play clock. That’s not uptempo and I think we could use that intermittently to keep defenses gassed.

The biggest blunder of the game IMO

Giants end of 2nd Qtr run which was stuffed and the clock ran out Bills 3rd down play to Knox. Now hear out my thoughts. Knowing McD felt comfortable taking a shot to Knox to end the game, McD took a risk allowing Giants to preserve final timeout. Now that plays in the FG decision. You are going for a kick where you could have at the very least run the ball for a minimal or no gain and forced Daboll to burn his final timeout. Now schematically you take your two biggest advantages the lead and field position, and allow the Giants the ball and a timeout with 1:24 to go at their 43. So you end up gaining no advantage. Run the ball on the third down. Then punt inside the Giants 15. Assuming the worst case scenario it’s Giants ball 1st and 10 at their 20 with 1:20 or so to go and no timeouts. That’s a 23 yard change of field position and no timeouts. Assuming the exact plays transpire it’s Tyrod running out of time around midfield as the Giants wouldn’t have had their final timeout. -
Kaiir Elam is a liability any time he is on the field

Elam 1st Qtr 8:38 vs Slayton for 27 yards Benford 2nd Qtr 1:26 vs Slayton for 31 yards -
Knox’s drops are becoming a big issue. He is continually letting down this offense.

Elam and Benford had their ups and downs but got it done. I think Elam’s tackling is better than ppl give him credit. -
Dorsey calls a good RZ game. Perhaps we should let Allen run the K-Gun and play more uptempo. The slowness between plays is another thing that bugged me. There seemed to be no sense of urgency.

Suggestions on how to address the Bills sudden offensive struggles?
Dr.Sack replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
If there was ever a game we missed the quick outlet passes it was this game. Kincaid might not be lighting the league on fire, but he does have sure hands and is an extension of the run game. We need Allen to get the ball out earlier and often. Also a screen pass, toss or jet sweep would be nice. -
14 points won’t cut it vs many teams including New England. We need to score about 26-28 to have a chance most weeks. Defense is different now without White, Milano & Jones.

That will be Belichick’s game plan. And every team going forward.

Knox is having major difficulties making any difficult catch on the edge of his catch radius. To me he is struggling to bend. Seems inflexible. Kelce is 7 years older and appears 7 years younger. Knox has had back issues this season, no?

10/15/23 Week #6 SNF GAMEDAY Bills vs Giants Pregame Thread

The Bills D gotta dominate this game. -
Half the QBs in the AFC are good enough to make their team competitive any given Sunday. Teams looking for a QB in 2024 Las Vegas, Tennessee, New England, NY Jets (regardless of A Rod). Teams stuck and/or possibly looking for a QB in 2024 Denver, Cleveland, Pittsburgh TBD Team Indy - figuring out Richardson, luckily they have a good backup.

Moody got them Norwood squinty eyes.

Now we get to see Purdy be a QB. This is when QBs make real $.

Small hands and limited arm. I was right about the supporting cast sustaining injuries.

They are trying to do it the “legal” way. If all else fails they will find a pasty to do it. -
Luckily Israel, the US and their NATO ally’s gave air defense and artillery munitions to Ukraine. I’m sure Israel could use those 300,000 artillery rounds they alone sent.

It doesn’t matter - once the media puts it in a headline or says it on the newscast no one reads the page 99 correction weeks later. The damage is done. If they fail to put Trump in prison, some lone “nut” will end him. We all know who is calling the shots. -

That’s what they said when Trump said American WW gravesites were filled with suckers and losers. Remember there’s an election in 13 months.
