As a former gambler, I will tell you that the line is known as a "sucker bet". The oddsmakers know that if the chiefs were favored, they will get little or no action on the game. If the bills lay too many points, they get too much action on the Chiefs. So by making the Bills a favorite of less than 3, they are trying to get as much action on the Bills as they can. The Chiefs are a slight favorite, but Vegas needs action on the Bills in order to cover the payouts on the Chiefs. Its all in the "Vig". The Vig is 10% house take. Bet 11 to win 10. The oddsmakers want at least to try and balance the action so as to offset both sides, ensuring they get to keep their cut. Since the Action is never exactly 50-50, they want more money on the Bills at home than they want on the Chiefs. Vegas Clearly thinks the Chiefs will cover the 2.5. Thus a sucker bets. all the people who say "wow, the Bills are only laying 2.5? That's a good bet" are suckers. And all the People who say, "man, the Chiefs are Getting 2.5? What do they know that we dont?" they lay off the game and are also known as suckers.... Since I am a Bills Fan, I almost never bet on them. My heart is always costing me money, so i just cross the game off and play something else....

I just wish we could find good young players either in the draft, or as FA's. I am SO tired of signing others teams rejects that have been out of the league, or were waived. I want guys that other teams WANT! Not the Rejects... Until we shore up the O-line, we wont get anywhere near the Playoffs.

Well, we just went to Old Fort Niagara in Youngstown on our vacation. Its about 20-30 mins north of Buffalo and a good place to see a little peace of history. I liked it, and my wife like it alot. Granted, my wife was a History Major, so take that for what its worth...If your Girl likes history, it might be nice to go see how they lived in 1759... (not an all day event, more like an hour or two.) If she likes to hike, you might try Letchworth state park, or the Iriquois Preservation Area. Letchworth was nice last week, but should be better this week for Fall colors...

My family and I saw this movie while in Buffalo last week. It was indeed a very good movie. We will see again, maybe this weekend...

As some of you know, my family and I just came back to Buffalo to see the Dolphin Game, and vacation in WNY. IT was an absolute BLAST! We had a great time. I met a few of you at the tailgate by the Pinto. It was good to meet all of you (Cablelady, Bill in Livonia, Bill in NYC, Badolbilz, Lori, Aussiew and the rest). Always nice to put a face to some of the names. Topped it off with a WIN! Had lots of fun doing the Falls, and all the other stuff to be seen in WNY. For the record, Duff's wings are WAY better than the Anchor Bar's. We went to the Duff's on Sheridan and Millersport Highway (not sure if there are more). To top off this Story, I saw Jim Kelly at the Buffalo airport Sunday morning as he flew in for the game. I got his Autograph on my new Bills hat. Now I need a new one, since I wont wear the one with his Sig. anymore....

Well, the family and I just flew in to town today. Hard to see anything with all this rain. So far, it looks like fall to me. Drove around town a little tonight. Drove by UB. Headed into a depressed part of town(ie seedy looking). Not sure what to do tommorrow. Depends on the weather I guess I cant wait for the game on Sunday.

Well said. I agree. There was no plan B last year. He had to stay the course. This year, they knew we would struggle some with JP, and I think they planned on going back and forth a few times if necessary. Hopefully JP learns his lesson and comes back pissed off and ready to WIN.....

I still have to say that I believe in MM and the Bills. I am a fan after all. I am hoping that the reason behind benching JP isn't to try and make the playoffs. It is to try and make JP a better QB. Bench him for a start or 2 or 3. Maybe just for the first half. I dont know. But hopefully, JP will settle down, loosen up, and come back with more determination. A better understanding of how to play QB. And maybe with a FUG you Attitude and somethinng to prove. Maybe MM just wants to tell the kid, "hey, I WILL put someone else in there. So. if you want to be the leader, then BE the Fuggin leader and win some fuggin games." You know what I mean. Kick him in the Arse... Because whether we like it or not, JP is the future. And I hope that TD and MM have the bigger picture in mind, not just "hey lets win a few games". I want to win a Superbowl. And I think JP and MM can do it...

Well, I hope they turn quickly. One of the reasons I chose early oct to come back to Buffalo with my family is to enjoy the Fall season. My kids have no idea what leaves turning is all about. I was hoping they could see it for themselves. Well, that and a Bills/fish game...

That is so ironic. My brother just went through almost the exact same problem this summer. You have a tumor in your esophagus, oh no wait, its acid reflux causing your breathing problems... Damn doctors can scare the bejuses out of you when they have no clue....
