I saw it. We maybe could have challenged, but we had no timeouts left so we couldn't. And the game had more than two minutes left in the first half, so the officials upstairs couldn't either.

No Chris V WAS on Special teams. I saw him downfield. I was stunned to see him there given he was dinged a little....

Well, I replied to the original thread, so I may as well reply here. i too give prayers to all who suffered and died 4 years ago, and the Troops who have since died fighting for our Fallen Brethren. God Bless America! And Death to all who would celebrate at our troubles!!!! -
My Prayers go out to 9/11 families.....And to our Troops "In Harms Way". Also to the Katrina Victims. Now on a lighter side... But Mostly My Prayers are for the Bills

Me too. I am gonna puke if I have to see that all year long. JP can hit the RB from 10 yards away....

Arizona Cardinals New Stadium design

They do at one end. The other end is for the jumbotron and the field slide out... the seating is shaped like a horseshoe... -
I hear you FFS. I really do. But everyone who lived in NO knew the city was built in a bowl. Everyone knew it would flood if a hurricane hit it, regardless of levies. And everyone who stayed in NO could have taken shelter at one of the Facilities that city Government had talked about. There was more than enough space to house them all, and time to get them there. The Hunker down where I am people, while i do feel sorry for them, chose poorly. I am not saying that they deserved to die, I am saying they chose a course of action that was EXTREMELY risky given the facts. If the Government had gone around NO and FORCED people out of their homes, and taken them all by force to shelters, then the hue and outcry would have been Deafening. Big Brother this ! Government Bastards have no right to That! This is a FREE COUNTRY! It was a no win Situation for the City Officials and the Federal Government if you ask me....

Arizona Cardinals New Stadium design

Yeah, The muckety mucks loved the sliding field idea. The popularity of Field turf hadn't made it out West yet I guess. I am not 100% sure, but I dont think the sides are open like in the pictures. I drive by the Stadium every day, and it looks like a doomed stadium to me... Oh, and the retractable roof is a good idea to me. Why play in a dome in Nov and Dec. in Arizona? The weather is fabulous. The Dome is needed though because of the heat in Aug and Sept. The Cards Owners and Mgmt are tired of playing the first 2 games on the road every year and then having a Bye. Slow starts are hard to overcome... For more pictures of the ugly exterior, check out this link. The Stadium stuff is down the page, right hand side. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/cardinals/ -
I fail to see how this is Governments fault. There were several warnings about intensity leading up to this event. I heard about Katrina for 4-5 DAYS before it hit. Anyone who stayed behind took their chances. They came up craps. And no, I am NOT talking about the Infirm or the elderly. They had virtually No Options. Their deaths fall on the management of the Nursing homes or their Families if you ask me. As for the comparison to Fla, I can only say this. Fla Hurricanes didnt have the severe Flooding like this one, thus less fatalities and less of a problem. Power was back on soon after, sevices were able to get in and give aid where it was most needed because they could reach the area by land. Something they CAN NOT do in No, Ala, Miss. Most of the problems occuring now are due to the flooding, not the destruction.

Bledsoe looked good for a while. Great. I am happy for him. But Given the way he played in Buffalo, he would have followed that half up with a 3-11 31 yds and 2 picks. C'mon, the guy hasnt thrown for 300 yds since week 2 vs Jax 2 YEARS AGO! We all agree Bledsoe had a great arm, and threw a great deep ball. But he was mediocre at reading his progression and throwing the short ball. He COULD NOT throw the short ball with accuary or touch, and he STUNK at the Ball Control style game management that the Bills wanted. Too many sacks and mistakes. I wish him well, but I am VERY glad he is gone.... Even if we back slide with JP this year, I will STILL be happy, because Bledsoe is not a winner... I will take my chances on the Kid, thank you.

No way CTM. When have the Oil Companies ever given us a break? Let alone OPEC? I hope you are right, though. If this one is really bad, we will need a break...
-
Anyone here see the film this summer about the oil crisis in America? It was a fictitious tale about a cat 5 hurricane that hit the gulf coast near Houston, causing HUGE oil problems and gas shortages. The film was done Docu-drama style. Made it look like it had happened, and they were covering it from the future. Like if we did a story on Discovery channel about the Mississippi river basin Floods from early '90s. Anyways. The entire story was based on a Cat-5 hurricane hitting the gulf coast in the summer of '05. In the movie, the storm destroys drilling platforms, the ports, the refineries etc leading to massive gas shortages and a major depression in the USA. I know it was a work of fiction, but it is still ironic. Only 3 Cat-5 storms have ever hit the US now this is the fourth... I hope the reality is nothing like the film. $7.50 a gallon will destroy an economy based on fuel pretty quick...

I don't know much about fantasy football, but why pick Vick ahead of Collins, then start Collins?
