  1. Well... yes: if you're upset about the price of your beer at the stadium. RB is only on the business end now. He has zero to do with football or hockey operations.
  2. All the networks you mention: the Beeb, AJ, CNN, Fox, PBS, they all have biases. I don't trust any of them. So I get my news from sources left and right, then make up my mind. The Beeb was once the Gold Standard for objective reporting, sadly they've slipped significantly in that regard.
  3. The "fire them" fans are rightly pissed at performance. But they don't understand the need for continuity. They think coaches, players and schemes are like spark plugs on a car... as in: swap them out, and good to go. N.E. prime example of the value of continuity: Belichick going on his 15th consecutive season. Yes he is an evil genious with a gifted QB, and some cheatery... but still I'd say organizational stability is the foundation of NE's success.
  4. WGR alluded to this story http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000609519/article/which-nfl-gms-are-on-the-hot-seat With: If the report is true. Many fans heads will explode. (not mine though)
  5. More comments like this are needed.
  6. No disrespect to Kiko, who is a talent... just sayin.. where's the praise for DW who wisely decided McCoy for Alonso straight up was a a good deal? C'mon fans.. our season sucks, but you gotta admit the Bills made out on this one. And, I suggest, the Bills also did good on the Tyrod deal.
  7. Yep. This. Jack Eichel or Connor McDavid are one thing. Franchise QB is another. Ask whoever it was who drafted Ryan Leif.
  8. Citation please, as to the secret formula being the key reason for the Rex hire. You have factual knowledge of the Rex hire decision criteria? Media citation.. not one of these under-appreciated auto's
  9. After reading this thread, the endless calls to fire Rex/Whaley/Brandon, the calls to "get 'er done, sign that franchise QB", "we need a czar" meme ---- What I am thankful this Christmas for: FANS DON'T MANAGE THE BILLS! I'm also thankful that hot head fans are not my parents. Imagine, come home with a grade of B--and it's a trip to Dave and Busters, come home with a C grade, and you get whipped by a belt.
  10. Concur. Constant firing people worked well for Caligula. But in modern era.. not so much so.
  11. The Business Manager?? Off base dude. He hasn't touched football ops since 2009. He's in charge of things like concessions, ticket sales, marketing etc. This article will give you a better understanding http://www.buffalorumblings.com/buffalo-bills-news/2015/7/27/9047749/russ-brandon-president-buffalo-sabres-bills-kim-terry-pegula
  12. http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/congress/article49233895.htmlBecause you can't beat a dead horse long enough (and I'm trying to distract myself from the the Bills pathetic loss today) ... I'm telling you guys and gals using the "no fly list" to curtail liberties other than flying is a fools game
  13. True that. A good QB and good management (long term strategic roster management and scouting). Whaley is semi-proven to be the good management piece. Yet there are those who want to let him go, and replace him with.... what? A more proven GM who wants to be in Bflo is sitting unemployed somewhere?
  14. Yes.. the money may shrink. He's out of energy (mostly). The Sabres, Bills, Harbor Center and Pegula Entertainment were all built on funds he got when he sold his fracking empire. He laid all his cards on Buffalo (lucky for us). Outside of Bflo, I read he still has mineral rights elsewhere, and Pegula Entertainment has a sizable Nashville influence.
  15. I heard no Joe Namath "we're going to win the Superbowl" proclamations from Shady.. so I'm celebrating (or forgiving) whatever happens. But your point is well taken.
  16. LOL.. but there are GS's that do. I've witnessed The Jungle with me very own eyes. But since you're offended I must respect that. Please file your claim with the NIOB (Natl I'm Offended Bureau), they're giving out $20 vouchers to Applebees.
  17. Sarcasm, I hope. Because Bob in Mich very clearly states no one has the right to shoot anyone.
  18. They're pretty secretive about how people end up on the no-fly list--an understandable position from a security standpoint. If the secret sauce about how you "ended up" on the fly list came out, the bad guys would game-around it. The secretiveness of the fly list process should be a red flag for it's use for other purposes. Who can say which pol (Dem, or Repub) won't change the secret rules to political advantage? I said this in a different post, and I'll say it again: The fly list is maintained by bureaucrats, GS-9 intel analyst types, working in a sweat shop basement of some Federal building, eating sandwiches and coffee from vending machines at 3 AM. That is not how a civil right should be withheld. (Right to fly is less than a civil right.. so I'm OK with how the maintain the fly list).
  19. Well stated! Preach on. No amount of gun control would have stopped the shootings, nor the IED they were going to use next. Carry the message forward! Thank you George Soros for your paid talking point.
  20. I'm not a GOP apologist. But yes.. thank you GOP for protecting due process. The "watch list" is maintained by a bunch of civil-servants, GS-9 like... working in a federal sweat shop. To have your civil rights over-ridden by a GS-9 filling quotas in the basement of a Federal building, eating sandwiches and coffee from a vending machine, is unconstitutional.
  21. Move to the VA side. Much safer. But I know how you feel... I lived in Baltimore for a while last year. I didn't even like going from the apartment to the car.
  22. Sure, "gun violence" may be more here. But without guns, people will find other ways to maul each. Europe, generally, is much more violent than the US just not "gun violence" Allot of the countries in that article have very stringent gun control laws. Our crime rate could be lower because of all the citizens who carry.
  23. You saw the article: http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/12/02/watkins-thinks-bills-need-attitude-adjustment/ Oh my.. I do believe Sammy is onto something. I completely believe his assessment. I vote him team Captain for the rest of the season! Seriously. I think he is right,
  24. Sorry.. I wasn't in a contest Actually, my rumor interpretation aligns with yours quite a bit. I just want Bills fans to vent more on what they see on the field and the scoreboard (and we can be pissed for sure). I do remember public display of jaw-boning between DM and DW.. but not sure what is was about.
  25. I loves me some post based on rumors and suppositions. And then double down on the rumor by adding conjecture (the if) that the current staff has reached the same conclusion. And add more guesses (we really don't know what happened between DW and DM). Very possible. But your arguments are based on what you think happened behind the scenes at OBD. Pegs will make his decisions on what he knows (surely more than you or I know) happened at OBD. I'm not calling DW dead man walking.. primarily because what I know, he's built a pretty good roster without raping the piggy bank (to much).
