There is a funny thing about averages. There are lots of ways to get to the same outcome. Singletary tends to do something like this (0, 2, 3, 0, 20) to arrive at a 5 ypc average when it might be more helpful to have (3, 7, 3, 8, 4) to arrive at the same ypc. Not to mention that McCaffery would be a significantly better receiver for a Bills team that likes to throw. Also,CMC is the defense's first and second key on Carolina's dog water offense. In Buffalo he's not.

I think you are highly overestimating the cost of acquisition.

NY is a different animal than Buffalo. If they traded Barkley after a 4-1 start Schoen would be pilloried immediately. That's a trade you make before the season, before anyone has hope. Right now they can see they playoffs and if you take that away all the goodwill is gone.

Can we stop talking about the Giants trading Barkley now? Not happening.

NFL teams are allowed to retain salary in trades? I thought that was just a hockey thing to lower cap hits.

In the Miami game Murphy called two Bills TDs on balls that were dropped. VERY frustrating to listen to.

He tore his ACL last Thanksgiving there are TONS of players who take a year to come back from that and we aren't there yet. Have some been earlier? Yes. Many have not. The Bills have a bye two games from now. White hasn't started practicing yet. I think it's fair to say he's out this week given that. So if you want to call someone names for suggesting that the Bills might hold him out against the Chiefs, when the following week is a bye, well I guess go ahead. In what way is your opinion "informed" other than it's what you want to believe? You're giving me a hard time over one game. You want him back for the Chiefs, I'm saying Packers at the soonest. That's ONE GAME different. Grow up.

I think the Packers game is the soonest to reasonably expect anything and I wouldn't be surprised if it's after that.

Tell yourself whatever you need to.

It often gives you the opportunity to score before halftime, get the ball and score again after halftime before the other team has a chance to touch the ball and really change the flow of a game. Prime Patriots were masters of this.

It's Florida. Nothing shocks me about Florida. Ever. It's a horrible place full of horrible people. I hate going there and wouldn't live there for free.
