I served as a Marine for 5 years. I have a different take. While I personally feel differently about the anthem than he does I respect his right to express himself anyway he wants. The freedom I defended gives him the right to sit or stand. Freedom is messy. It's easy to support the things we agree with, it's a lot more difficult to defend those we don't.

I get the impression from the article he took offense to the shade Rex through their way about being a "bad defensive coach". Jerry comes of as petty and petulant in this one. I agree that he is usually more right than wrong and it is tough for people to hear but he can be a real curmudgeon sometimes and is out of line. This and the time he called into NE radio and declared the Bills and Mario frauds come to mind. I also thought he was brutally unfair to TO when he was here right off the bat. He just hated that he was a Bill. Jerry's shtick got old a long time ago.

I saw the Bills in Seattle in 04. It was Quest field then I think. It was awesome. Seattle is a pretty amazing town and the stadium is right at the southern edge. Wonderful place to watch a game even if it's artificially loud.

That's pretty misleading. That is referring to head trauma that requires immediate care. Cyclists are wearing a soft helmet and higher off the ground. Also riding over concrete or asphalt and often collide with cars. CTE is a degenerative condition over time. A cyclist may have one bad accident but a football player will have thousands of small ones. This is not apples to apples at all.

I read that the Ref that blew the whistle was caught in a player collision in week 2. He broke 9 ribs and suffered a collapsed lung. So he was pretty effed up. This was his first or second game back. He had Bradey and the defense baring down on him, he most likely simply got scared. It was a genuin mistake IMO, but they jobbed us by saying the ball was caught first. It clearly wasn't.

This is all kinds of dumb and makes it if we loose look that much worse. I really wish he would outgrow this nonsense.

I kind of feel like your looking to be offended. If you weren't shouting at him and his kid like an animal on his Instagram account he isn't talking to you. Sometimes people look for things to set them off, that is what this appears to be.
