  1. Happy Turkey Day, my Yankee brethren.
  2. Jags are a weird matchup. 5th best YPG and YPA in the air. INT rate is woeful, sack rate is middle of the pack. Giving up 26.5 points per game but 6th in 1st downs allowed and 9th in RZ defense.
  3. I'm trying to come to terms with him being flawed. Wanting him to be better won't make him. As Commonsense said, kinda have to hope that the seat-of-his-pants stuff comes off. At this point, constantly stressing and arguing over him being flawed is detrimental. Rex loves him, Rex is staying, Tyrod is staying. We're semi-doomed for the long term. Probably best if I check out now
  4. Why I can't watch the games with people. Apparently "STOP STEPPING OUT OF CLEAN POCKETS!!!" gets annoying after a while.
  5. Well established that I didn't like the pick. The history surrounding Karlos put me off instantly. At the same point, I get that the NFL cares about character less than I do. I give them credit for cutting their losses quickly on a risky selection. Could've proved to be more detrimental if they kept him around.
  6. My thoughts entirely. A QB probably should be judged more on the throws he doesn't make, rather than he ones he does. I used to fall into that trap with college QBs. I tended to be drawn to the pass being accurate than if he passed up a more aggressive alternative.
  7. @Andy_Benoit A QB could go to the Pro Bowl every year if he made half the throws that Tyrod Taylor leaves out on the field each week.
  8. Every now and then, I see a story that warms my heart. Unlucky chubs.
  9. "Your 2017 Buffalo Bills - now twinned with the Dignitas Clinic in Switzerland"
  10. Those Soviet nations typically produce a lot of regimented talent. Might be a system QB but owns a good arm.
  11. Madara Palameika might grab the attention of a few posters.
  12. You know me by now - 100% fire taeks, all the time. Hogan is the kind of mind I'm looking for. No doubt that he's one smart cookie at the LOS. Just a shame he was a football brain put into the throwing motion of a Latvian javelin thrower.
  13. I wasn't drunk.
  14. Yeah, only good at football
  15. Marcell (or, more likely his agent) included #BuffaloMafia in his I'm sorry post for being banned.
  16. Beathard is a guy that I had on the low end of the backup scale over the summer but that's the kind of player mould we're talking about. Personally, Sefo Liufau and Cooper Rush are guys that I could spend a Day 3 pick on and feel comfortable with, at least from a conceptual understanding standpoint. Accurate enough, keeps the offense ticking, has a modicum of athletic ability to add the occasional spark. Low turnover rate. Honestly, I'm describing our starter for the most part
  17. The Buffalo Mafia bit was a nice touch.
  18. Extremely NSFW. You know someone is going to believe it though
  19. The tricky marriage between talent and opportunity. I don't think they'll be in the business of finding a starter in April. If they want to address the backup role, there's a couple of good options for that. Just lot more pressing issues likely to need solving ahead of backup QB.
  20. Stash this one away until it comes to his fifth-year option. 2016 has its whipping boys.
  21. More Senior Bowlers: Dede Westbrook, WR, Oklahoma Vince Biegel, LB, Wisconsin Dion Dawkins, OL, Temple Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss Jessamen Dunker, G, Tenn State Dan Feeney, G, Indiana Jonathan Ford, S, Auburn Zane Gonzalez, K, Arizona St Zay Jones, WR, ECU Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova Larry Ogunjobi, DT, UNC Charlotte Duke Riley, LB, LSU Ezra Robinson, CB, Tenn State Tanzel Smart, DT, Tulane Freddie Stevenson, FB, Florida State Trent Taylor, WR, Louisiana Tech Jamaal Williams, RB, BYU
  22. It seems to be having the desired effect, so I guess it was a successful move. There are certain balances that I'd rather see addressed before where the XP is kicked from though.
  23. As I said, all psyching themselves out. @MarkdominikESPN NFL kickers are 44/45 on Field Goals from 32-33 yards this year, but have missed an astounding 48 extra points from that same distance.
  24. Most people still don't give a **** about the play unless they miss. Absolutely. If you miss from inside 40, they should tie you to the back of a wild horse and drag you through the streets. It's genuinely not that tough of a job to kick. I think the new rules have got kickers psyching themselves out more than anything.
  25. I don't like the rule change, just the principle of fixing what wasn't broken. That said, anyone missing a 33-yard XP should be shot on sight.
