  1. Pop it back in and suck it up. Wimp.
  2. Streamed Kaep this week as a laugh. 33 points.
  3. He couldn't even line up properly a week ago
  4. But how did we bring Sammy back if Shaq was the guy that returned?
  5. The better question is - should they?
  6. Shady Marcell Hunter (don't care, that catch was my point being proved about something) Would've picked Gilmore but dude got cut block into an alternate world on the Hurns TD. Solid though.
  7. Kaaya suited my point but it's really *insert any rookie you like here*. People said that trading for Sammy was a bad idea because we shouldn't put mass resources into the passing game. Wouldn't Tyrod and a big contract fall into the exact same argument?
  8. Even if the objective is to just 'be average' - like 200 yards/game plus a great run game, avoid turnovers etc. would you rather? Tyrod - 4 years (lopping off Year 5) @ $72,350,000 or Brad Kaaya (say as the 50th pick) - 4 years @ around $5,000,000 (taking into account likely cap increase) I know I'll take Kaaya + $67m on weapons/defense over Tyrod.
  9. The point is, a rookie doesn't have to be awesome from day 1. To replicate the current production, he just has to be average. The thing that a rookie in 2017 gives you is room to grow. Tyrod doesn't. And for a hell of a lot cheaper too.
  10. The best bit about 'The Game' yesterday - the amount of people that jumped off the "Jabrill Peppers is a top 5 pick" bandwagon.
  11. Dude is so filthy, my TV won't even let me watch it without a PIN number
  12. Not even at the end of the first half. Carson Palmer, meet your replacement. Make that 15/18, 394 yards, 5 TDs.
  13. There goes WR1 doing WR1 stuff. @BleacherReport Western Michigan WR Corey Davis sets FBS record for career receiving yards, passing Trevor Insley (5,006)
  14. My Twitter is awash with folks talking about Gabe Marks toasting Sidney Jones. Told ya the kid was good. Jones might be my CB2, he's no mug.
  15. If Daniel Carlson misses an extra point tomorrow, it's my fault.
  16. He's got over the ankle issue so he's got his power base back. That's integral to his game, especially in pass pro. He's not a glorious technician that's going to win reps with ease, having his anchor fully engaged is how he's going to win. Athletically, he looks a little looser getting to the 2nd level. Really smart guy from the conceptual standpoint. He's an average guard and he really doesn't need to be much more. No need to worry about RG for a couple of years.
  17. I'm not sure how much the wobble bothers me. It wasn't a Mitch Leidner wounded duck and the trajectory was pretty good on the throw. He's an incomplete player, only started a handful of games. Similar to Wentz for me last year, there's building blocks in place and his flaws should be fixable for the most part. Ideally, he stays for a senior year but why would he when he's probably QB1.
  18. I don't think it's 2013 bad but it's not the time to be needing a QB and holding a top 5 pick. There's no superstar QB out there. A couple of guys I wouldn't mind if I'm a team with an aging QB and have the luxury of being patient for a year or two. There's some potential but, as we know, potential just means that you ain't done **** yet. BUG HOWARD LIVES!!!!! You are all witnesses. https://twitter.com/RobRang/status/802244257142730752
  19. It's not being screened live here. Honestly not watched him all year, wasn't a fan watching his 2015 games back. He was a bit too Air-Raidy for me, skittish under pressure. If he can move the ball deep on that secondary, you can colour me impressed. Big fan of Gabe Marks though, his #1 WR.
  20. Not a shocker, really. He's a talented kid that's likely got his best football ahead of him. On a side note, I'll be happy when folks stop putting Fournette in as a top 5 pick. Not even the best RB in the class
  21. Murphy might prove more reliable than Haslam's homeless guy
  22. So, the Cleveland Browns have a guy in their communications department named Dan Murphy. He's the cousin of Mitch Trubisky. Interesting........
  23. I joked over the summer about the possibility of folks talking up Nate Peterman because he's white and pro-style.
  24. @PFF_Gordon LSU CB Tre'Davious White's coverage numbers this year are insane. 23 receptions allowed, 10 pass breakups, 2 INTs
  25. Found a probable late round RT that I like a little. Uconn's 6'8" Andreas Knappe. From Silkeborg, Denmark, he turns 26 in his rookie year which is less than ideal. Bit of a departure from his former career, was part of the Danish archery program. He's going to test really well athletically. Needs time to develop his technique and power. Not sure how much you want to invest in a guy that's possibly not NFL-ready until he turns 27-28. Interesting though.
