  1. Dickerson is retweeting a ton of stuff from fans on this. It's awesome. This was my favourite: https://twitter.com/MatthewBerryTMR/status/805424768489033728
  2. @AndrewBrandt Again, on the web woven within the Rams: Jeff Fisher's agent is Marvin Demoff, father of Rams senior executive Kevin Demoff.
  3. Took me a good 5 minutes to realise this wasn't Chaps.
  4. Through 11 games, Gilmore has given up just 2.
  5. The birth of a child is something special. If he doesn't play because of it, nobody should care. It's his right to do so and some things mean more in the world than a game of football. I just hope both mother and child come through it healthy and well.
  6. The league follows trends. The running back position was dead until teams got smaller at LB, then you see consecutive top-10 draft picks at RB. Corners get bigger, stronger, longer. Then you'll see more shorter, shiftier guys at WR to take advantage of that. The league goes where teams tell it to.
  7. The Bills could use the skill set Cooks has. They've stressed that field-stretching WR quite clearly in keeping Goodwin and drafting Listenbee. It just so happens that they seem to value speed over ball tracking in their vertical threats, something that isn't an issue for Cooks. I'm not calling him the best WR in the NFL but don't play dumb to what this team does well. When Tyrod trusts his guy, he's a good deep ball passer. I'm not for grabbing Cooks but he fits a clear profile in Buffalo. I agree that they need a bit more size given the QB but, if Tyrod's sticking around, why not cater to what he does well as much as trying to help minimise his weaknesses elsewhere?
  8. Size was the reason they drafted Hardy. That's a mindset. Not an organisational philosophy, a mindset. Size isn't a skill in itself. The best WR in the NFL is 5' 10". Being big AND talented is great but one does not mean the other.
  9. If there's one guy I really want to see declare early in this class, it's Wisconsin's H-Back Troy Fumagalli. Really athletic guy at 6' 6", 247. Solid blocker, runs decent routes, natural catcher. And he's doing it all missing his left index finger. It's !@#$ing remarkable.
  10. That's true but do we really want to use prime draft capital on a player that's already showing that he's a combustible element in a locker room? Cheap deal for 2 years with a 5th year option, I doubt they let him go without a significant pick in return.
  11. Not sure a guy moaning about a lack of targets is aching to move to Buffalo.
  12. He's been invited to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl so that's a big sign that he's seen around the league as borderline UDFA material. Got injured for a second straight year. His 2015 tape was bloody awful. If 2016 was similar, wouldn't touch him with a ****ty stick.
  13. Yep. I'm sure it's the second kicker that's making the league laugh at us
  14. I'd definitely bring Hunter back for a reasonable sum. I think he's little more than a RZ option for the most part but I'm not going to pretend that's not worth something, even on its own. Pretty much a guarantee Tyrod is staying so let's get him the damn Harlem Globetrotters at WR. The reason I'd like Kenny Britt for him.
  15. In regards to the passing game and Sammy, the biggest difference is Tyrod's comfort level. He throws the deep ball better to Sammy than anyone else and it's little more than sheer faith. It's a really good thing that he trusts Sammy but it's equally infuriating that he doesn't make those throws consistently elsewhere.
  16. Cian gets me, you guys. @Cianaf You need to evaluate the QB independent of his supporting cast while also understanding the impact of his supporting cast on his stats.
  17. It started off being the "not good at football" aspect. As time has gone on, injuries happened and all, them not bringing him back after establishing a rapport within the offense says a lot more about him.
  18. Yep. They didn't just start up because he was playing again. Me thinks someone was a bit dishonest in his assessment of his own health. It sucks for him that he's dealing with them, they're !@#$ing awful. Awful for the team too, it's already getting to "waste of a roster" bad.
  19. That would be Rhodes Scholar, Einstein
  20. TMZ reporting that Gasser has been released without charge.
  21. Jay also has diabetes so part of the glum look might just be a blood sugar issue. That narrative gets way overblown.
  22. Not entirely sure he could be any worse. Looking at the roster, I'd assume TJ Carrie would step up. Liked him at Ohio, scrappy dude had 17 PBUs in his first two seasons. DJ has also had 10 DPI/holding calls against him this year. Flag-a-thon.
  23. People had him starting on the boundary in Gilmore's slot for 2017 after one OTA
  24. DJ Hayden being out would be bad. We could toast him.
