I worked in television and covered his triumphant “return” to Buffalo, with throngs of hopeful fans lining the 33 as his motorcade passed. Covered his entire career, and yes he was an arrogant azz, but there were plenty of others (Bruce, Thurman …) Also worked with him on Hunters Hope projects and he was definitely a changed man. Certainly no hero, but still easily the most successful quarterback ever in Buffalo. Allen is certainly a better physical talent, but he lacks a Polian level GM to build a proper team, granting that there was no cap then, just our beloved cheap owner standing in the way 😂

I’m sure he thinks all is peachy at OBD and that we’re all a bunch of smooth brained Neanderthals for questioning anything. The “Let’s see you do better” posters are soooo tiresome

Purely as a fan of the game, I can’t say that last evenings tilt wasn’t enjoyable … stressful, edge of you seat, screaming at the TV enjoyment, but enjoyment nonetheless. Add good friends, proper adult beverages, a fine cohiba and yes, my life goes on …. That’s not to excuse some of the poor decisions/performances taking place on the field
