  1. Mooney feels iffy. His splits with fields weren’t great. He was also pretty boom and bust. I’m not trying to put a lot of shares into that offense
  2. Agree I was responding to a post that said put him on the IR til week 4. PUP is my preference if he’s not good to go because you get a roster spot and allow him to heal a bit longer.
  3. Why not the PUP. You get 2 weeks less for IR but it costs a roster spot. Will say that McBeane has shown a willing ness to do that to immediately use IR for some players.
  4. Good topic. One thing I’m doing quick is looking at who these players are going against. Im gonna short London some considering how bad the falcons secondary is.
  5. I think dr Kyle trimble was more high on him being ready. He’s on joe Marino during season but was on cover 1 recently
  6. I would also say you cant pay all of them forever. I believe Tre's contract is up in about 4 years so is also good to have his contract ending when were looking to pay Elam. I think the plan makes a lot of sense to maintain an elite pass D I also like how quick he gets it out. Don't think he really gets the laces much. One little rotation to feel it a bit better but gets it out of his hand ASAP. lets Gabe really get a good look at it while he has some space to work with.
  7. Hasn’t he struggled with press coverage? That would make him less viable on the outside. I think I like shakirs release package more.
  8. I don’t think fortune has anything to do with 3 starting OL that were nicked up coming back at the same time. Heck even dion got some time already. I think 1 week before preseason game 1 was a date to get peeps back. I think they wanted to give anyone with a boo-boo a bit of time with training staff before being full go. It makes sense and would bet its part of load management.
  9. Different strokes for different folks. I would say ant isn’t so much a homer as only focusing on the positive. A homer sorta convinces themselves it’ll always be the best situation. quinn does rub some peeps the wrong way but I’m ok with him. Like I said I listen for content and I like the warm takes
  10. Pretty sure it’s keenum. He’s at least done stuff in the league as recently as last year for the browns. Barkley is here to help josh from the PS imo
  11. Pretty sure he’s been at a lot of practices just not using him in team drills yet.
  12. Air raid is pretty good I agree. Tilt $ has good takes. Judge gets a little too spicy for me to be a regular listener. thats why I like tompsett and Quinn. They usually stick to luke warm takes. Tompsett is awesome at contracts though so he’s sorta required viewing. film room with turner and now pro ant and Kendall has always been good. I watched all of the josh Allen film rooms with Nate and erick. I also like Bruce. He has a different perspective that I appreciate on things. The 2022 draft as Marvel characters was gold. agree on Rico just too much for me. agree thad seems like garbage. generally it’s content > voice for me
  13. Joe Marino is everyday for the whole year. Fills my drives well. He doesn’t have any camp insight but like how he breaks down what others are saying. Also cover 1. I go for Ryan talbot
  14. Said it in another thread but this is pretty low priority for me. With holding distance hangtime all being more important.
  15. I’m ok with it. My priority for him to learn is 1 holding (points most important) 2 hang time (no TD returns) 3 directional kicking (only used when we are in area where we go for it more often) Yes just renewed its great. Besides what others have I said I would also add other teams “over” invested and that means some good players will fall (Davis included). I think Beane may have realized this (he did trade away a first round talent rather than risk it and could’ve gotten Jefferson) For the record those players are 4 players that have been all pros in the past 3 years. 😂
  16. Would have loved to see brown and penning play for UNI. Shame they had their 2020 season cancelled. At FCS those two must have been so nasty.
  17. Cool glad to hear you are still on the Williams > Saffold take. i think thats laughable. The league needs OL and he couldnt get signed before TC. he could def still be signed which if he doesnt wouldnt that be embarrasing for your take. Considering position flex and overall play at both T and G, i think Quessenberry > Williams. Williams has shown what he is, an unathletic player who is cereberal enough to give good RT (only) play for periods, but his guard play leaves a lot to be desired. Just to hammer this home you are saying a pro bowl guard (not the best metric but def something) is arguably worse than an OL with flexibility that hasnt been able to find a team before TC.
  18. Had to dunk in the take that unsigned Daryl Williams was as good or better than Saffold. You got lost in your Jason peters stuff. I’m here to laugh at your Daryl Williams takes. You say now he wasn’t offering much last year. But that’s not the tune you’ve been singing all off-season. “If he (Saffold) is an upgrade (to Daryl Williams)…”. 😂. That take is gold it was June and he was unsigned (still is).
  19. I trust Quessenberry a lot more than I did any backups last year. Dude was a starter and VERY good run blocker last year. Yeah he gave up sacks but tannehill is terrible at eluding pressures (saw a site where he had more sacks than pressures, not sure how that happens). So I feel better with Quessenberry at any position other than C than I did with last years backups. Don’t think its particularly close between this year and last year either.
  20. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 now you don’t think Daryl Williams offered much? Do you still think he offers as much or more than Saffold? What a terrible take that was for June.
  21. Agree with the points about getting the 1's working together. Isnt Kromer sorta known for rotating players more than other coaches though? Maybe they are taking the opportunity to do that at the start of camp cause of the inuries.
  22. Some of what they would report on would go away but I think there would be a new avenue for them to report on if credentialed. Lose formations and who’s getting starting reps. Gain press conference questions and locker room access in season to ask Xs and Os questions of the players. See the game plan develop over the week and then be able to use that to explain what was happening in the game. That all sounds great to me. I don’t think I am seeing them post anything that what is on team website. What they do that credentialed media can’t is say who’s getting first team reps. Thad thinks this is why he can’t get people to listen to him. But it’s really cause he doesn’t know football. I think cover 1 would be great as credentialed media. The other guy from QB breakdowns was Nate geary. Yea still WGR to my knowledge but I mostly get him talking to Bruce Nolan on the food for thought pod. Bruce is def worth a listen and those film breakdowns of josh growing were awesome.
  23. I thought he was a pretty good blocker. He was pretty important to our run game last year. That and he plays like all the ST snaps. But I see your point if it’s we’re gonna run zone so he less important than when we ran gap blocking at the end of last year
  24. Lol topic should be bills sign Jordan again 😂. I agree though good for bottom of our roster move. I think griffin won’t make PS with benford Mccloud Tim Harris and Jordan miller around. Considering wild goose and even mccloud getting picked up last year, I have a good bit of confidence in the CB depth players.
  25. ? You got the right player? ND and NC state for mccloud.
