  1. I'd still expect a QB in the first, but maybe not a move up unless they are truly sold on someone specific.
  2. If you're a film & concepts kind of guy I highly recommend watching as much of the 2016 Seahawks and Broncos as you can.
  3. That's my point though. Why are KC and Buffalo in separate groups regarding QB evaluation when they've basically had the same thing for the past 2 years? I'm not saying I expect Mahomes/Watson to be awful, in fact Watson could see early success due to the players around him, but I don't see why KC or Houston are getting lauded as fantastic gauges for QB evaluation when neither has had elite QB play.
  4. I'm not Bandit, but I did this analysis in another Sammy Thread
  5. All of them have had pretty poor QB play in recent history. I don't see why KC and Houston get puffed up on QB knowledge when their success has been founded on strong defense and special teams. It wasn't so long ago that KC went an entire season without a WR catching a TD. I'm not sure if acquiring Osweilier was better or worse than acquiring RG3.
  6. What is Peterman? a Rookie QB A Rookie QB is better than Mahomes?? Cool! Which one?
  7. Adam Schefter‏Verified account @AdamSchefter Hope for underdogs: There are more undrafted free agents on NFL rosters today (481) than 1st- and 2nd-round picks combined (480), per Elias.
  8. It's what I've gathered from several conversations, some of which were with people who are recently unemployed. And yeah, like I said, it certainly doesn't guarantee success; but Dennison has a year to show McD (and now Beane) whether his vision can come to fruition or not.
  9. I wouldn't expect him to address the media much. They will continue with the one voice approach through McDermott.
  10. Nope, no link. You can believe it or not, I was just adding some context to the situation. Dennison was also the driving force behind Denver's offer to Tyrod when he was an FA, not Kubiak. It certainly doesn't guarantee success for Tyrod, but the guy wants to work with him.
  11. It was a 4th that became a 3rd if he started in the NFC Championship and became a 2nd if he won the super bowl.
  12. Not to derail this completely, but is it coincidence or destiny that they make Cheerios in Buffalo?
  13. Except in this case the new coach brought in a new OC, who requested to work with our current QB, if possible, based on his past experience with the player.
  14. It's also better than any mark we've achieved since 1999. All I'm saying is I don't think they'll be instantly bad once Brady's gone. It might actually take losing Belichick as well.
  15. Mike Tolbert has 630 carries as an NFL RB.
  16. Having players line up that went through the offseason and installation of the offense will be beneficial on it's own.
  17. Okay, I looked. Since 2005 Brady has missed 21 games, and the Pats* have gone 14-7 in those games. That W/L ratio translates to somewhere between 10-6 and 11-5 over the course of a single season.
  18. Maybe it's outdated to the point of being irrelevant, but they went 11-5 in '08 with Cassel at the helm as well. (and missed the playoffs)
  19. First, 'Everyone' is an overstatement. Second, Tyrod is still employed by the Bills and those who wanted him gone are not. Food for thought.
  20. I don't think he wants full control. He took control this offseason because he needed the roster to move towards his vision for the team instead of Whaley's. Our current search is for someone who can continue taking the team in that direction so he can focus on coaching.
  21. I laughed out loud in my office. Thank you.
