  1. At the end of this season they can cut ties with Sammy and Tyrod. Maybe they wanted both to mutually benefit from some extra motivation?
  2. Since I looked at the WR targets in this offense earlier I figured I'd do the same for RB. I must say, it has varied a lot due to injuries since 2010 for the Kubiak/Dennison crew. 2010 - Arian Foster: 84 Targets, 327 Rush Attempts 2011 - Arian Foster: 72 Targets, 278 Rush Attempts 2012 - Arian Foster: 58 Targets, 351 Rush Attempts 2013 - Ben Tate: 49 Targets, 181 Rush Attempts; Arian Foster: 35 Targets, 121 Rush Attempts 2014 - Justin Forsett: 59 Targets, 235 Rush Attempts 2015 - Ronnie Hillman: 35 Targets, 207 Rush Attempts; CJ Anderson: 36 Targets, 152 Rush Attempts 2016 - Devontae Booker: 45 Targets, 174 Rush Attempts; CJ Anderson: 24 Targets, 110 Rush Attempts McCoy: 2015 - 50 Targets, 203 Rush Attempts 2016 - 57 Targets, 234 Rush Attempts Average - 53.5 Targets & 218.5 Runs per year So there's a few ways we can look at this: If we take the average of all players listed we get 71 Targets & 305 Runs per year, but there is some inherent fluff to that as you are negating injuries and factoring some backup work into the numbers. Discounting them by about 80% would give us 56.8 Targets & 244 Runs per year, which seems to be within a reasonable realm of possibility. If we only take the player with the highest combined Targets & Runs from each year we get an average of 57.4 Targets and 250.4 Runs per year, and that factors in injures and not starting all games somewhat. If we look at Arian Foster's numbers because he is the most comparable to Shady the averages are 62.25 Targets and 269.25 Runs per year, and that factors in Foster missing significant time in 1 year out of 4 in the system. So, no matter which way you slice it, it would appear Shady's workload is going to increase. Let's hope he (and Sammy) have a nice healthy season.
  3. *puts on Gruden voice* I love this guy Robey. He plays nickel corner and his name is Nickell. What could be better than a guy named Nickell playing Nickel?
  4. Yes, that was 2013 (We had #8 that year). we traded up in 2014 for Sammy and we had pick #9 that year
  5. We were 20th in 3 & outs per drive over the entire season. The teams behind us, in order, were: Arizona, Houston, Tennessee, Kansas City, Detroit, Cleveland, New England, Miami, San Francisco, Denver, NY Giants, LA Rams Bolded the playoff teams.
  6. Yes, it's a bad click-bait title. The actual article is titled 'NFL division races in 2017: Competitiveness rankings'
  7. Sometimes I wonder where you guys get this stuff... Since 2000 the Patriots have gone 6-0 in the division exactly twice (2007 & 2012).
  8. It means he's comfortable punching Buffalo cops over a bottle of champagne. Jerk.
  9. Disagree. Even if you add a win to our record every year we get swept by the Pats* we still only have had 2 legitimate chances at the playoffs in the last 16 years (2015 & 2004). That means it's about 12.5% on the Pats* and 87.5% on ourselves. In 2004 we would have been 10-6 instead of 9-7 if we split with a team swapped with the Pats*, which put us in line with some of the wildcard teams that year, but I don't know (or care to look into) the tiebreaker scenarios. In 2015 we would have been 9-7 instead of 8-8, and if we split with Houston, specifically, they'd have been 8-8 instead of 9-7. Every other year and extra win wouldn't have made a difference.

  11. It's the Sideline Official. I try to be thorough with my diagrams.
  12. so Hyde Poyer? Darby White Ragland Hodges Alexander Hughes Dareus Williams Lawson and then sub Seymour for Rags/LorAx for Nickel?
  13. yay, no more 200 yard rushers! no, but really, thanks!
  14. I'd prefer a comparison with zach brown instead of preston
  15. oh wow, that'd be cool. wonder who we release if that's the case.
  16. Sal Capaccio ‏Verified account @SalSports 6h6 hours ago Sal Capaccio Retweeted MDonovan Correct. Bills have only 3 players from 2014 draft left. Know who else does? Patriots. And they had 2 more picks. Draft is crap shoot.
  17. Why couldn't it reflect the recovery timeline for Listenbee?
  18. Can you lose something you never had?
  19. It would seem that, in his mind, the Bills have gone 6-10 in 2017, passed on a QB in the '18 draft, and then gone 4-12 in 2018. Meanwhile Mahomes has won OROY, the 2017 Super Bowl, and was the 2017 Super Bowl MVP.
