  1. I think Peterman will prove to be great value for where we picked him up, but if you think he'd outperform Tyrod right now you are sorely mistaken. He was 1 of 6 for 7 yards under pressure last night against 2nd and 3rd stringers. If he played with the ones against Philly's starters playing like they were he would have done nothing. Give him time and let him develop.
  2. Result was a 0 yard sack and Offensive Holding call that was declined.
  3. AFCE did have 2 playoff teams last year!
  4. Well we didn't gameplan, so that's probably part of it.
  5. The sad part is there weren't that many blitzes. Their 4 were consistently beating our 5. Their DL is very good, though.
  6. Oh, and I know it was the end of a preseason game, but I liked what I saw again from Shorts and Reilly.
  7. I wish they'd put Dawkins in with Miller on the right side, but then I'd fear for the QBs life if it was Ducasse & Mills next...
  8. Pretty much! As others have stated, he's certainly made Yates expendable in my eyes.
  9. Oh, and Penalties. 15 for 131? Yikes!
  10. Timing is definitely still a work in progress. You noted his frustration, some of that was from lack of execution on his part, but some of it was also on the ones that he executed and still didn't work out.
  11. He wasn't good last night, make no mistake, but he also go no favors whatsoever. Pass Pro was rough all night, and several of his throws were out on time and placed well, but the receiver either stumbled or didn't get their head around after their break. Hopefully the O gets their crap together.
  12. Agreed, mostly. I do think Pass Protection deserves a mention in the bad. Here's hoping Cordy playing fixes that, because he seems to be the only player on our roster capable of playing LT.
  13. Based on what I've seen we only have one LT on our roster.
  14. We've led the league in big plays for 2 years in a row...
  15. I didn't project anything about Sammy's future. To say what they each accomplished in their first 3 years isn't comparable is silly. It is comparable. That doesn't mean Sammy will pick it up like Julio did.
  16. They may have bickered, but they also went into every game believing it would end in a victory for them. IMO
  17. Look, I think you know I don't bash Sammy or anything, but those stats aren't favorable. They're comparable, I suppose. but in 3 more games he had fewer targets, fewer catches, fewer yards, and fewer TDs. That isn't favorable.
  18. 12 team league, 2 QB league (Flex is QB/WR/TE/RB), 8 are VT alum. Tyrod always goes earlier than he should Last time I had him in fantasy was his rookie year. I drafted him to ride the pine as a good luck charm in the last round. I won.
  19. I'd like to see him go to the Panthers.
  20. Both active players were on expiring contracts. The good one and the average one.
  21. Yeah, they even specifically mentioned how they don't like TT because of his 4th quarter stats specifically! Oh wait... I love how you said let the stats speak for themselves and then didn't present any of them, by the way. Go ahead and define some parameters for what you believe is a 4th quarter comeback situation and then see how many times we've been in them. And make sure to do it for the league so we're not just looking at stats in a vacuum with no context. Green Bay hasn't scored 31 points per game the past 3 seasons by the way. 30.4 in 2014, 23.0 in 2015, 27.0 in 2016. Just like Detroit isn't averaging 17 points per game. 20.1 in 2014, 22.4 in 2015, 21.6 in 2016. And you didn't even answer the question. Would you rather have Rodgers or Stafford? Clearly Stafford since he has more 4th quarter comebacks in a shorter career to this point, right? And Tyrod's stats in the 4th Quarter as a starter are: 119/201, 1,518 Yards, 7.55 YPA, 13 TD, 5 INT, 94.1 Passer Rating. He also had 72 runs for 313 Yards and a TD on the ground. If that's 'not good' then you have some incredible standards. It's not great, but I'm pretty comfortable saying it's good.
  22. So he's retiring after this season?
