Strictly off the value chart, the price to get to 5 is a lot more reasonable than some people are suggesting. 9 / 40 / 112 / 181 = 1,938.6 points 5 / 70 = 1,940 points Moving from the early 2nd to the early 3rd (plus an extra 4th and 6th, we would still have 5 day 3 picks) to walk out with Williams seems pretty reasonable to me.

I'll do the Titans if you need people. Wanted to give others a chance but in the interest of getting it rolling.

That's pretty definitive considering Bosa / Allen seem to be viewed comparably if not more favorably than Williams. Easily could see a scenario where he's available at pick 5 and we go get him.

Bills trade 9 / 40 / 131 to Tampa for 5 / 70 Bills select Quinnen Williams Bills and Bucs dealt before, just last year, Bucs are set on the inside of the dline (assuming they don't move on from McCoy), then move down to 9 and get pick 40. Beane hasn't been shy about moving up for guys he feels are difference makers. Williams plugs into Kyle Williams vacated spot on the line rotation.

Our entire draft is going to come down to 2 or 3 QBs going in the top 8. Just 1 (or none) will likely mean we are picking out of a different tier of players.

The Indianapolis Colts select Jeffery Simmons, DT, Miss St. The Colts heavily weighed WR with this pick and considered Jacobs before he went off the board in front of them. The team feels it's uniquely positioned with no obvious holes, so is willing to roll the dice on Simmons potential to group with Leonard and Hooker giving strong young players on all 3 levels of the D. The Raiders are now on the clock @Joe in Winslow

My favorite OSU QB in the last decade + ending up in New England is just the type of sick thing that would happen.

If the 49ers move back, pick up an extra 1st and still could get Quinnen Williams, I'd have to believe that's the play. They would then have pick ~25 / 36 / 67 in a deep WR class. Hard time seeing the Lions pass on White for a RB. But I fully appreciate the effort that goes into putting together a mock. It's not a light hearted task if you put a lot of thought in.

Ok Now do why a team is going to give up picks to move up in the same situation.....

My head says take DL. But I worry a lot of the guys left are either boom / bust types or solid but not spectacular. Hock just feels like a solid double at the absolute worst. We haven't had a high quality TE in..ever? and Daboll has seen first hand the impact and how to use a high quality TE.

Based upon how we ran things last year, that's what we did. Some people had the same team the whole time, some traded off. But thanks for the input "Ridgewaycynic2013". Considering none of us are real fans of the teams we are running, consistency allows posters to dig in and understand the teams, who they are bringing in on visits, etc. But thanks for implying I'm up to no good.

But we get first dibs on continuing with our teams in other mocks, correct?
