  1. OK. The Bucs pick is very available if a team wants to get Haskins in front of the Giants.
  2. If Kyler Murray is on the board at 5, the Buc's pick is VERY available for a team that wants to jump in front of the Giants.
  3. I’m fine with any team that has a 1st rounder, would prefer to go as high as possible.
  4. I think they want Haskins but refuse to trade up and are desperately hoping no one moves in front of them. If Murray and Haskins are both gone top 5 it feels like they'll panic and take Jones.
  5. The value restrictions on moving up made things a lot more difficult. I don't think the Bills would have to pay a 300 point premium to move to 5 in the real draft.
  6. Every year it seems there's a prospect who slides through the process for whatever reason only to end up back where they started when the draft process began. Ed Oliver is that guy this year. I would be floored if he's still on the board at 9, though I have a feeling we are going to move into the 5-7 range for whatever guy we really like.
  7. I'll take any team that has a 1st rounder in the 3 round mock. I'll take the Jags if NewEra doesn't want them any longer.
  8. There's speculation about the Raiders being very active on moving around the board and potentially trading up to 1 or 2. If they don't trust any of the guys hired by the previous guy, there's no reason to have them in the building if they are working the phones all week.
  9. Didn't we fire the whole scouting staff right after the Whaley - McDermott draft? They are McKenzie's guys and it seems clear Mayock and Gruden don't trust them.
  10. It's impossible to compare to last year for us. But even league wide it just feels like this year has no where near the jockeying for position we saw last year. Kyler Murray (and maybe one of Haskins / Lock / Jones) feel like the only real wild cards. Either the Cardinals are smokescreening (and don't even get me started on the stupidity of "smoke screening" the #1 pick) or they legitimately don't know what to do. Other than that it's ?‍♂️
  11. Anyone else feeling this draft is just missing a lot of the lead up sizzle? I know nothing can compare to last year for us as fans, the team equipped with a war chest of assets and a glaring need at QB, but this feels as meat and potatoes as it can get. There's 2-4 QBs no one is quite sure where they might land, but other than that you might be looking at a massive run of offensive and defensive linemen through the first night of the draft. But there feels like a very obvious lack of pre draft rumors, it's basically "the Cardinals don't know what to do (a surprise to no one)" / "no one wants Rosen" / "Jones or Lock may go before Haskins" and that's about it.
  12. He played around 220 last year, then stacked on 20+ lbs for the combine to have decent measurables. He's a very scary pick at #9 IMO.
  13. The primetime games I've seen almost all look like brutally bad one sided matchups. Things can fluctuate wildly from year to year but it seems there's an overwhelming amount of bad big market teams on in prime time games that people will be turning off mid 2nd quarter.
  14. I wonder what his go to WR from high school is up to? Maybe we can find a spot for his best friend too?
  15. He's been repeatedly linked to the Giants throughout the process. It would be very funny to see the Giants take D at 6, counting on Jones at 17 only to have a division rival take him 2 picks earlier.
  16. Thanks. I just don't think there's any way Oliver makes it down to 19, he fills a big need and is a cut above what will likely be on the board at 19. Changing the value for the rules hurts a little, it felt like a steal when the price was a late 2nd that turned into an early 4th, but it gives the Titans a premier prospect and loads up day 3 to allow targeting needs all over the board.
  17. With the 13th pick in the 2019 NFL draft the Tennessee Titans select from Houston DT, Ed Oliver. Vrabel and the Titans make an aggressive move up the board to grab the sliding Oliver. Tennessee views him as a versatile piece that can be moved around the formation and add increased pass rush along with the addition of Cameron Wake. The Falcons and @buffalobillswin is on the clock.
  18. There's usually a premium on moving up, but trades usually don't differ all that much from the established value charts readily available online. It wouldn't cost our 2nd and next years 1st to move up 4 spots.
  19. So you think #5 will cost a 2nd and maybe a 3rd, but #6 will cost a 3rd and a 5th? While the general premise is fine, you are clearly just throwing out random trade ideas.
  20. Guarantee is a strong word. I think it's more likely they pick in the top 10 picks than bottom 10.
  21. Yes. Time value of money. Best case our 2nd this year is roughly equal to our 1st next year due to the time value of money. Worst case, we traded a top ~5 pick instead of the 40th pick.
  22. I would give up a 2nd this year over a 1st next year 10 times out of 10. I've never understood thinking the opposite, seems like incredibly short sighted gambling.
  23. Actually, if you make it: 9 / 40 / 112 / 158 = 1947.8 5 / 70 / 208 = 1947.8 It's dead even value and we are only "down" 1 pick overall.
