Offensive line didn't block better for Manning in my opinion. The difference is that Manning made the correct adjustments and Osweiler didn't. The little things that Manning did pre snap made all the difference.

Now is when McCoy's contract bites us in the butt
QuoteTheRaven83 replied to jester43's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So what's your point? how many games did Aaron Williams and Kyle Williams miss? Mario Williams checked out all season so he won't be missed. Dan Carpenter can't hit extra points. Kyle is over the hill and needs to be replaced. Aaron won't be the same after that injury. So I really don't see the point in keeping them here. Time to get younger and better. -

Cut Mario Williams, Kyle Williams, Aaron Williams, Dan Carpenter, Leodis McKelvin, EJ Manuel, Cyrus Kouandjio, Marquis Goodwin and we should be in decent shape. -
Tyrod has been amazing all year. Like I said I'd take him over a lot of QBs in the league right now and I feel he brings stability to the position. We still need to bring in a veteran QB to back him up however. Someone that's willing to come in and be a mentor to him and teach him things. Tyrod ain't perfect and he's got tons of room for improvement but I feel great about this position for the first time since Kelly. We can win with this guy, something we never could've done with QBs in the past. Now we have to get rid of Thurman, hire a better DC, and draft all defense.

Stats in college are meaningless. Jamarcus Russell and Brady Quinn put up great numbers in college too. TONS of college QBs put up great numbers in college. He'll be drafted probably 2nd-4th round but keep him away from here. I don't see a QB in this year's draft that really pops out but if we had to draft one, give me Kevin Hogan if he's available in the 5th or 6th round. If not, I'm OK without drafting a QB this year. This team has WAY too many needs right now to be drafting a mediocre QB to develop. OT, DE, LB, CB, S, WR should all be considered before we even think about drafting a developmental QB
-
More like a year and a half ago and you act like that was such a long time ago. Keep him away. If all you can see is the athleticism and big arm in a QB, then I feel sorry for you. The first thing i notice is leadership, accuracy, maturity, and intelligence. Big arm and athetlicism are just bonus traits. It's like a WR that's super tall and runs a 4.25 but can't read a defense and run routes. All flash and no substance. Some of the best QBs in the NFL don't necessarily have a "cannon" for an arm. They all are great leaders and mature for their age however. None which Chad possesses

Is Mario playing tomorrow or sitting?

Who gives a hoot. I don't consider him a Bill anymore. Don't let the door hit u on the way out Mario -
Yea. There are stupid mistakes and then there's THOSE kinda mistakes. U wouldn't even see guys like Manziel making those kinda mistakes. There are things you don't do especially at that level and one of the top things is talking back to the coaches and flipping out on them on the sidelines. Pouting on the sidelines and btching about it. It shows lack of leadership, lack of discipline, lack of maturity, and lack of composure. ALL things I want in my QB. Sounds like a lot of QBs that have come out of college. I'm sure if you saw Drew Brees and Tom Brady's scouting report outta college you woulda passed them up in a heartbeat. Tom Brady, slow, average arm strength, average athleticisim, accurate, doesn't look the part. Wouldn't touch a guy like that with a ten foot pole. Give me a guy with great arm strength, athletic but lacks leadership.
-
The fact that he's a Kelly means NOTHING to me. The fact that he got kicked off a National Championship caliber Clemson team because he argued with a National Championship caliber coach tells me he's a headcase. Being immature off the field is one thing but to be yelling at coaches and disrespecting coaches on the sidelines is a whole different issue that this team is not prepared to deal with. The lack of leadership is astounding already and if you let someone like Kelly be the face of this franchise...You're asking for a whole world of hurt.

McCoy, Williams, Jackson > McCoy, Williams, Dixon -
Belichick Indirectly Takes a Shot at McCoy?
QuoteTheRaven83 replied to Vinaccia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With the exception of Maclin, McCoy's been average and Jackson's been hurt and hasnt done much all year. -
One week to go - how many HC openings?
QuoteTheRaven83 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's a dam shame that Coughlin gets shtted on every year. Guy is a hall of fame coach and one of the best coaches of all time. Jerry Reese has been one of the worst GM's in the NFL and he's the reason the Giants are failing. Not Coughlin. Outside of Beckham, they haven't drafted a decent player in awhile. He continues to fail to build that defense, running game and o-line. Give the man some weapons. Would love to have Coughlin as a HC. -
Which NCAA HC could succeed as an NFL HC?
QuoteTheRaven83 replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea that Pete Carroll is a horrible coach. He had his shot with the Jets and ran back off to college with his tail between his legs. It's a shame he could never hack it in the NFL. LOL. Get a clue -

David Shaw, Mark Dantonio, and Bob Stoops would be my top 3 -
Tyrod Taylor had a quietly spectacular day
QuoteTheRaven83 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tyrod is the only reason this team sucked this year. Sorry. lol -
BLAME IT ON TYROD. He's obviously the reason we were so bad this year...lol

Should NFL eliminate "meaningless games"?
QuoteTheRaven83 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So then what happens in draft order??? This is the dumbest idea I've ever heard. -
Whaley's not the problem so I'm not surprised to see him stay. He's done a good job putting this team together. This year's failure is strictly on Ryan and only Ryan. Whaley and Greg Roman did their jobs.

LOL. Not getting emotional. I already proved my point. You haven't said anything to back up your point. What is this boxing? Tyrod 1 Andrew Luck 0. Tyrod 1 Mariota 0 Tyrod's better than Luck and Mariota!!! So in theory, since Cousins is 1-0 against Tyrod and Tyrod is 1-0 against Luck. Cousins is better than both Tyrod and Luck. I see your logic
-
Yea, it was ALL Tyrod's fault. No one else's. LOL Rex, the pathetic defense, most penalized team, turnovers, injuries didn't matter. Put this all on Tyrod. Got it. I'm arguing with someone that would prefer Kirk Cousins as our QB. Why do i even bother?

Where did it go wrong in 2015
QuoteTheRaven83 replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
THIS YEAR'S FAILURE IS ALL TYROD TAYLOR'S FAULT!!!! No one else!!!!! lol -
AGAIN...Cousins would be GREAT if he could play all his games at home, but it's a shame he has to play away as well where he's been mediocre. He has yet to throw more than 1 TD in an away game. Away games where he has a 6 TD to 11 TO ratio? Where his average QB rating is 76.5 in away games? Where he has a whopping 1-5 record on the road? Hey...if you think those are good numbers then I don't know what your idea of amazing numbers are. Just because Cousins put up great numbers against our pathetic defense doesn't prove anything. Fckin Brian Hoyer threw for almost 300 yards and 3 TDS against this defense. So Hoyer's a franchise QB too? Lets trade a 2nd round pick for a REAL QB... HOYER FOR 2016!!!!!!!! OK. I see your logic.

10-6=8-8 everywhere else
QuoteTheRaven83 replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will bet we go anywhere around 6-10 or 8-8 next year. I will put 1,000 dollars on it. Any takers?
