look there jimmy10. He just got two replies with facts he probably would not have found on google. The OP has a valid point in his post. -
An honest question for season ticket holders. ..
JTown replied to JTown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fair enough. I certainly hope that you and your wife continue to to enjoy the games. Honestly. I fully understand you can't win them all. I had season tickets when I lived there as well. I guess you need to forgive me for making this sound like a "hyper tizzy fit". -

What is your point? Do you have to have a certain amount of posts to start a thread? His screen name alone tells me about how long he has been a fan. Whats the standard? -
Do you feel as though you got a return on your investment this year? Secondly, for the first time in the history of the organization we know the team is not moving. Would you consider not renewing until the production on the field improves?

Super Bowl: Patriots vs. Seahawks again.
JTown replied to Dr. K's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But But wait. .. how can that be? I just read a thread here last week that guaranteed me that the Bills were going! -
You can pick one person on the team to say anything to.....

2015-16 Buffalo Bills Positive Thread

ding ding ding - we have a winner! -
There should be 60,000 upset season ticket holders outside pegs office tomorrow volunteering to drive Rex to the Airport.
-
This for me is easy. I would have Rex clearing his office office tonight. He has never had any control over this team. He personally cost the team a win with his lack of knowledge on when to challenge. He has destroyed the best best defense the franchise (Whaley) has assembled. I hate when people refer to him as a defensive genius. He is an an idiot. Unfortunately, I am sure that DW will be the fall guy and Rex will be here with his childish antics for years to come. Pathetic. I see a grim future.

If we make playoffs, we'll make it to the SB
JTown replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There you go! So what was it that you all saw in this team that had you billieving they even had a remote chance off going to the Super Bowl? Rex has has truly succeeded in accomplishing an amazing feat. He has taken the best defense this franchise has assembled in 16 yrs. and and destroyed them. He is an idiot, but yall drank the kool-aid. Yes my expectations were high at the beginning as as well. But after repeated dumb penalties, it was obvious that Rex never had control of this team. Unfortunately, I believe that that Whaley will be the fall guy, and that is the worst thing that could happen. I personally would have Rex clear his office tonight. Sad really. Roman did much much better than I had expected. I would bet Schwartz would have had this defense dialed in. So life as a Bills fan continues. There is ALWAYS next year. -

I can just see the Op's post on Monday. "If the Refs ......." "If Rex had ......" DUDE get a grip on reality. Or better yet, bet the farm farm now in Vegas. They should give you better than 23-1. You are a genius! -
Something tells me Doug Whaley has something big up his sleeve, I just can't seem to figure out what it may be. Whats your thoughts?

Stephen A.Smith suggests racism in Chip Kelly's roster move
JTown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stephen A. Smith continually makes inferences to racism on a daily basis Nothing New here. Move Along. ESPN has done nothing for years and will do nothing now. The idiot sitting next to him is clueless as well and their job is to fill meaningless time (when everyone is at work). If they were considered respectable, they would be on the radio as the do Mike& Mike. It is tiresome however, if people are still watching the First Take then that is their problem. -
I would say he is better in all aspects. Experience, pocket awareness, arm strength, ability to read defense. I thought he played well at both KC and Minn. Is he a viable game manager? Absolutely.
-
I think signing Cassel is a great move. Is Cassel going to be the starter? who knows. He is competition and at this rate I believe we have only seen a few moves, FA hasn't even started and we have a Premier RB and solid competition at QB. I love the aggressive position on the New Front office. Last years 24th hour attempts to acquire competition for EJ were disastrous. This year is entirely different. The front office wants to win and win now. Having been a Bills fan since 72, I cannot remember a time when the front office has ever been this aggressive. Ever. It a great time to be a BILLS fan

Except for the lack of talent at one critical position = QB

Patriots Fumble Rates since 2007 rule change
JTown replied to somnus00's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
VERY INTERESTING! I had totally forgotten that it was Brady (and few others) that were lobbying for that change in policy on who provides the footballs. I believe that when all is said and done, Roger is going to be forced to punish the Patriots harshly. IMO, they will never save their tarnished image by pinning De-flate Gate on a poor minion and think the public out-cry would not cause irreparable damage. Particularly, with multi-billion dollar sponsors reputations also at stake. I'm actually hoping that NE wins, so Roger has to stand on that stage next Sunday night and hand that trophy to Belicheat and Tom "soft balls" Brady knowing damn well they should never have been there representing the AFC to begin with., and if he (Roger) had done his due diligence during Spy-Gate the Patriots would not likely relevant anyway. -

New England Patriots caught deflating game balls
JTown replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How could it possibly be the latter; if the NFL has an absolute smoking gun implicating cheating beyond all doubt and they let the Patriots represent the AFC in the Superbowl anyway would be the worst PR nightmare in history. -
New England Patriots caught deflating game balls
JTown replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The crazy thing about this entire situation is the absolute silence by the NFL. Not one statement. DO THEY BELIEVE THIS IS JUST GOING TO GO AWAY? So, lets say the Patriots win the Superbowl. How does Roger hand them the Lombardi trophy? The image of the NFL will forever be tarnished. -
Bring Back the Red Helmets!
JTown replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Grew up with the classic white helmets and personally hated the 80s 90s red helmets. IMO our current uniform & white helmets are the best in the league. Please NO Red -
This was my first post as JTown. I have been on TBD previously as another screen name however, I opted not to post further after being flamed repeatedly about my opinions in reference to the Bills organization to pass on Russell Wilson. In retrospect, its comical to me how every ones opinion has changed. Posted 26 December 2014 - 09:16 PM Has anyone been direct and asked DM Why his O-line sucks? I think he is confusing effort with results. If he was an O-lineman, why does his O-line look like one of the worst ever fielded in Buffalo. With the exception of Levitre, it is essentially the same as last year and the Bills led the league in rushing. Let me ask you? If Rex Ryan coached this present team, do you think we would have had more success? I bet you we would. IMO DM is in way over his head. He has been out-coached in several games. Why did he wait so long in the Raider game to go to the no huddle?? He is an absolute idiot. The offense started moving the ball effectively. This defense kept him in every game and even won most of them despite his and Hacketts disfunctional offense. Unfortunately that may be enough to keep him around another year so next year I expect much of the same. Likely regression. Yes this was posted before all the St. Doug drama......I was never on board with the Marrone /Hackett experiment. However, after the embarrassment in Oakland this year, I could no longer bite my tongue. We have an incredible amount of talent on both sides of the ball. Are there still questions at QB & O-line? Absolutely! There is certainly one thing clear to me. This is no longer an organization here to generate revenue. The Pegula Bills are here to win and clearly are changing the culture of the Buffalo Bills. Having been a Bills fan since 72-73, I have never been excited in the off season. This year however is different! I love what Rex brings to the table. If you watched the presser, and didn't get goose bumps. Go root for the Pats. Rex has a chip on his shoulder and it will be apparent on the field. Go Bullies

First day in town and already at Big Tree
JTown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have been a Bills fan since the early 70's and can honestly say I have never been so excited in the off season. Realistically, the QB/O-line challenges seem too great to overcome, however, marginal improvements and this team can dominate the AFC East. No sure what flavor it is....but i'm drinking the KOOL-AID and enjoying it. I believe this is just the beginning and am hoping more big news as the Draft/Free agency nears. I truly believe the culture is changing quickly in Buffalo. -
Do you approve hiring Rex Ryan as HC
JTown replied to /dev/null's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
APPROVE ! Note my first post in Dec when ya'll were still swinging on Marrones Jimmy blaming Hackett for the inept offense. Do i think Hackett belongs in the NFL - NO. However, ultimately Marrone was responsible.
