Learn to read. I will break it down Barney style for you. I hate the Patriots. I hate all people who murder innocent people. The fact that AH was an active Patriot who had recieved a $40 mil contract increases my hatred for that organization. Am I holding that Patriots accountable for the murder of Odin Lloyd. No Do I believe that the Patriots knew of his character issues. Absolutely indisputable. As did Urban Meyer. Did they know he was going to kill? Probably not. Keep focusing on the word "increases" and keep thinking that I hold the organization accountable. Make sense now?
-
You are mistaken. I followed the AH case closely and didn't know that the body of Odin Lloyd was discovered by a Bills fan. However, in the 48 hrs special, a person in a Bills sweatshirt was in the opening scene. Because I mentioned that does not mean that is what I took away from it. I will interpret it for you. You only read what you want to read. What is disgusting is that you try to take a small comment and paint a big picture. You could not have read my comments and possibly thought that is what I took away from it. You are a moron.

CTE has nothing to do with helmet design. The current helmet does everything it is designed to do. The brain cannot sustain the movement inside the skull when the helmet impacts the ground or another object. I believe that the helmet creates a false sense of protection and if the remove the helmet all together it would completely change tackles and it truly would be "heads up football". That is the only way to significantly reduce the amount of concussions.

Thanks for the link. What are the chances of the body of Odin Lloyd being found by a Bills fan in Mass? I may read the book as it appears that it will be unlike anything he has done before.
-
Strongly disagree. I would not want anything to do with Belicheat or Brady. I would rather suffer another 17 yr drought before I lower myself to cheating. I bet you wouldn't have rolled on AH either. Smh

I don't hold them accountable for AH. I hate the organization for reasons other than AH. I don't hold the Bills accountable for OJs actions. I hate that he wasn't convicted but it goes to show you just how dysfunctional our judicial system is. I would say that it's even worse now, than when they let OJ walk. Let me be clear.... I never said I hate the Patriots because of AH. I hate the Patriots because of the Tuck Rule, Spygate, Deflate gate, perceived NFL collusion. Is it a coincidence that this James Patterson special aired on the eve of another AFC championship game? I don't know. Do i suspect it was done to boost ratings tomorrow? Probably.
-
Nothing about the James Patterson special specifically, I loathe that organization. AH was a POS. AH was a Patriot. Do you see the connection? It was more about how his fiance and others continue to defend the POS that was AH. By blaming CTE , Riddel and the NFL instead of facing reality. He is a murderer. Did OJ commit murder? Absolutely. Is OJ a POS? Absolutely. Urban Myer knew the type of person AH was yet that was not important as he was helping him win games. I loved the part where AH shot his buddy in the face and left him for dead but he lived. However, he wouldn't cooperate with police and AH was never charged. Yet he testified against AH in the double homicide case. After AH was convicted in the Odin Lloyd and was already in prison. Maybe if he had cooperated in the first place AH would not have been able to kill OL. If you shoot me in the face and I live. Dont worry about whether I tell the police.

Very interesting special airing now. I did not know that the body of Odin Lloyd was found by a Bills fan. I also did not know that he told Ian Rappaport that he would kill him if he ever crossed him. While I find this informative, it increases my hate and disgust of everything Patriots***. Hopefully, they will begin to fall rapidly, however, I expect that the officiating tomorrow will ensure that the cheatriots win. After all the NFL has already determined that the Superbowl will be Min v. NE. Per their official facebook. Seriously considering never watching a NFL game again.

Earmark this thread for the annual end of year awards. Such a gem and we aren't halfway through January. Op displaying quite the football acumen and ability to think logically. I honestly think that there should be a test before being able to start a thread. Smh.

One of the stories of this Sunday's playoff game
JTown replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Completely agree. Even more unfortunate is that I have little to no confidence in Dennison's ability to design a gameplan to counter the obviously superior Jax D-line. Imo, the only chance we have today is if our secondary continues to take the ball away and TT is able to get outside and actually complete a few throws in tight coverage. -
I feel that officials are clearly determining the outcome of games. This has been the worst I have seen in my 40 some years of being a fan. It has gotten to the point that it is becoming increasingly unwatchable. I have a bad feeling about the officiating tomorrow in Jacksonville. Hopefully I am wrong.

Micah Hyde loves McDermott and Buffalo
JTown replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As for Micah, he is the real deal! The fact that he is telling other players to pay attention significantly bolsters my belief in "The Process". One can only hope that other players hear his calling come FA time. After all Hyde was on a dominant squad in GB. For him to make those comments speaks volumes about the culture now in our locker room. McD simply makes the best kool-aid I have had in years. I'm all in on "The Process". -
Ok... so I was sipping a beer as I scrolled through this thread and when I read this gem, I managed to shoot beer out my nose. It totally sucked. Thanks! Seriously though this is the funniest post I have read in a long time.

Shady could grab the rushing title this year!
JTown replied to JTown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That he is. Without him this year we could easily be the Browns. Hopefully in the off-season, we can build a legimate passing attack that will allow him an even playing field. As our only weapon, opponents key on stopping the run with 8-9 in the box. It's amazing he is even in contention. Who said I was excited. I simply realized that he was not that far off and could actually take the title. Do I think he will?. .no. could he?...yes. As far as Billsy goes.... your "who cares" comment is as Billsy as it gets. -
Shady could grab the rushing title this year!
JTown replied to JTown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand that it would take an amazing effort on his part to rush for 178 yds. I don't think the game plan is going to be designed to get the title specifically, however if he breaks a few plays and has 100 yds by halftime they may focus on it in the second half. -

I believe Hunt is out aswell. -
Shady is 4th right now with the top 3 backs nor playing in week 17. Shady needs 178 yds to lead the league in rushing. Obviously, he is our largest offensive threat and will get his share of the carries, but I think that he has a good shot at the title.

Bills' Fan Creates GoFundMe Page to Have Tolbert Cut
JTown replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is s total d-bag move by an apparent Bills fan. Whether you like him or not, the man is human for Christ's sakes. This sends a horrible image of Bills fans in general and along with table slamming or jumping. Our image is not very good right now. I for one would like to see Bills fans acting with more class on-line and at the tailgating events. Hopefully someday these individuals will grow up! -
Should the NFL start firing referees who make bad calls?
JTown replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bad calls? What are you talking about? The official on the field ruled that it was a touchdown. The nfl overturned that call to the way they wanted it, despite not meeting the "conclusive evidence" required to overrule the call. The on field officials are now a puppet. Why would they fine or fire an official for doing exactly what he was told to do? Or do you think he should have been fined or fired for his initial ruling of a touchdown? -
I have been saying the same thing for many years now. It has gotten to the point that I don't even watch the games on tv anymore. Trust me it is difficult to do as I have been an avid fan since 73. I am often asked why I don't wear my Bills gear anymore and I always respond that I hope to again one day when they fix the league. The scandals (Patriots****), kneeling, atrociously biased and incompetent officiating, and absolute garbage product is not appealing or entertaining. A fellow Bills fan asked me on Saturday where I was going to watch the game and I told him that I wasn't as I no longer want the aggravation and frustration of the poor product the nfl has to offer and I also told him that I wouldn't be surprised if the officials play a factor in the outcome of the game. He sent me a text at halftime that said "you called it!". I happened to be working in the garage and went inside and caught the coverage of the halftime show. I certainly wasn't surprised and was not emotionally affected by it at all. The old me probably would have destroyed the tv and anything else within reach. Yesterday, I had a smug laugh and turned the tv off and returned to garage and enjoyed the progress I made on my custom bagger. I am SO much happier without the NFL ruining my weekends. Sadly, I realize that the product is not likely to change so it may be a long time until I return. I guess I will just have to find some more bikes to build. Much more productive way to spend my Sunday afternoons.

Cam Newton: "You Been Watching Film...Watch This"
JTown replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched the game live on local tv here in NC and it was definitely entertaining. There was another play in which there was also banter between Cam and Packer and after the play Cam was seen grinning and taunting the GB player as he picked himself up off the turf. It is my opinion that Cam is physically far superior than every qb in the league however, his lack of maturity significantly limits his success. Way too many examples to list. It's a shame really. Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with this type of jawing back and forth but I was shocked that Gronk was not flagged for taunting after laughing and pointing at the Steelers defender during his touchdown celebration. Great thread op...thanks -
I was excited about what I seen from Peterman yesterday. I don't know if I have ever seen such a quick release, particularly after suffering for so long with a qb that refuses to throw the ball. I respect TT's ability to extend a play, but I am now ready to move on. McD says that he has to figure out a way to score points. Well Einstein. How about giving Peterman or Webb a shot. Not sure how true of a gauge it would be with the current OC, but IMO, both Peterman and Webb looked better than TT did yesterday minus the opening drive. But we all know how that ended. Smh Seriously, will it ever end?

ESPN-Jim Kelly on 97 Rock....again..
JTown replied to N.Y. Orangeman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jim is correct. Gronk should have been pummeled by the 10 remaining players on the field. You must defend your teammates when they are subjected to such a cheap shot. He could have done permanent neck or spinal damage. I thought the culture of the team was changing when they cleared the bench to celebrate a first down. Now they allow cheap shots. Soft team going nowhere fast.
