  1. I don't want him running like Lamar or Kyler, however it is an important part of his game that was missing in not just the Titan's game, but Los Angeles & Las Vegas too.
  2. Again yesterday we saw some good rushing performances by QB's (& expect Kyler Murray to put up #'s tonight). Hope Allen's feet are part of the game plan (i.e. some scrambles).
  3. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜ Best laugh of the day!!!!!
  4. It was a catchable ball, but like Allen, thrown too hard๐Ÿ˜†.
  5. I was saying that a # that were blamed on Allen were the receivers' fault. He has also thrown bad ints, like all other QBs. The difference being that the media (and many here) would blame it on his accuracy in many instances.
  6. Not a shot..... Should have caught it and at worst an incompletion. Greeney would not have blamed Rodgers, Wilson or Prescott that's for sure.
  7. And I still have debates here on the Week 1 2019 Pick 6 that was off Beasley, that the announcers & many here attributed to Allen.
  8. The first two years, it would have been: "Allen threw behind the receiver & again shows he is just not that accurate a passer" On Tuesday it was: "The pass was there and that is a catch an NFL receiver has to make" I saw the Int & blamed the receiver. The replay did show Allen was a little off. Since day one 1 with Allen I blame the receiver & now it seems so does the media (and most on here).๐Ÿ˜œ
  9. Whether short fields or not, the Titans had no trouble moving the ball. One af the punts was after half and they generated first downs and held the bal 5:30 and punted from the Bills 44. On another punt they were at the Bills 36 (and decided to take a penalty vs. try a fg). The Bills did not stop them all night.
  10. The last 20 years must have not been easy!!!!!๐Ÿ˜œ
  11. I read, listen & watch a little, but national shows I stay away from. However 20+ years and very little positive press, seldom was there too much. Canadian & a big basketball fan. When you have a competitive team, which the Toronto Raptors are and there is a big, statement game that you lose (be it regular season or playoffs) big, then yup, don't want to hear or read the "I told you so, fools gold, over-rated, can't compete with elite teams......" Let's hope for a good competitive games vs. KC (or a big win) and a better week of media after Monday.
  12. And all started with a bad call on first down. One yard runs put pressure on the next two plays (shadow of goal line). After the Bills pinned them deep, first play was offside and there was the difference. 1st & 5 vs. 2nd & 9 (as Tennessee was running Henry). Actually the D was bad & has been all season. Shutting down the Jets is no big deal.
  13. The offense got the ball 2X's the second half..... Allen threw a bad int, when it was a play he could have run the ball, but seemed to want to force it in & a TD. The Bills stopped the Titans after the Int and should have been a fg, but a stupid Roughing the Passer Penalty. So instead of 24-10 (and Bills made it 24-17), it is 28-10 (16) and complexion of the game completely changed. Add to that the when Tennessee went 90 yards to score at the end of the half. Simply the Bills defense was lousy (yes short fields, but 1-2 stops and maybe a different result). The Bills are a good team, maybe very good, but a dose of humility maybe exactly what the doctor ordered.
  14. Yes they did, however there were times where he had plenty of time & the old Josh would have beaten them with his legs. With so many in coverage, unless he's still injured, there seemed opportunities to run. Love Diggs & like that Josh is targetting him, but seemed too at times he was forcing it to him.
  15. love Dan & his shows....... I laugh and "get" the show, which is exactly what they expect of their audience.
  16. Like when he threw to Diggs in triple coverage???? ๐Ÿ˜ก Seemed like he just didn't want to run at times when opportunities were there.
  17. Actually Russell has been pretty consistent wrt rushing. Yes earlier in his career more, but still a threat. Allen has fallen off a cliff. Just watching Allen it looks like he has been more tentative.
  18. The thing is he didn't really run vs. LA or LV.... If an injury, then I get it. If the Bills a neutering one of his strengths, that's another thing.
  19. The issue is you see Allen in the pocket and times he forced the ball as opposed to taking off. The point is he seems not to want to run or the Bills haven't maximized the opportunities.
  20. Simply I expect one 20 yard Allen run per game. Yesterday no one was spying on him, coverage was tight, often 8 men in coverage & Allen was a pocket passer. I've seen no scrambles. There were opportunities & this has been since week 2. Talking about it right now on WGR.
  21. Not saying called runs, but some controlled roll outs or when protection breaksdown, run. Seems to be a little hesitent of late. Tannehill gashed the Bills & other QB's seem to be doing it more often, while Allen is doing it less. Yesterday is a perfect example, if only rushing 3 and dropping 8 then there should have been some lanes open.
  22. I thought I'd resuscitate my old thread as again vs. Tennessee he didn't run. Seems one of his greatest assets has been removed from his game. How Tannehill, Fitz, Wentz & a plethora of young QB's all seem to be evading the pocket and making big plays with their feet, Allen in the last three games has not. Not sure why this is happening.
  23. I was frustrate of the Defense first mentality and the Bills ranking 30,29 & 24th the first three years with McD, with little effort (as I saw it) toi address it, be aggressive on Offense and frankly do what every team is capable of annually to throw for 300 yards. McD did not do that once in 3 years and seemed over & over to talk about playing "field position & not turning the ball over". The Bills last had a top 10 offense in 2000 (#9). I said simply said & don't deny it, that the Bills were a very difficult watch particularly the past 3 years (and you'll say 2 playoff losses & I'll say 25-23 record) as they were so inept on offense.
  24. After years (well pretty much 20) of seeing a much stronger defense then offense, the script is flipped. How often we'd actaully be happy the Offense made no mistakes, maybe generated two-three first downs and hopefully pinned the opposition deep with confidence that the Defense would do their job. Yesterday we were thrilled that the Defense could make a single stop. Tennessee converted 6 of 10 third downs (and one 4th down). Two punts the first half & one after a long drive the second half. Very unnerving and a different feeling when you are confident the Offense can perform & expect just 2-3 more stops from the Defense.
  25. 265 2 TD's, one bad Int 63% completion %..... Add to that long fields and only 2 possessions the second half. BTW when it comes to grades today, everything is inflated......๐Ÿ˜œ
