  1. It's a fair review, but again this "building" crap needs to stop. Will it stop only when they win the SB? We saw tremendous growth in Allen weeks 1-4 and now again he appears neutered by the the offense. Seems teams have again figured out Dabol, or he doesn't adapt. Always the same cliches trotted out about division games. This was a wounded NE team, the weather actually much better then forecast and took a TO in the last 30 seconds to win. This was a game I wanted to see the Bills win by 2 TDs. Yes we are Bills fans, but I do not see growth yet again this year. The Offense has regressed after being near the top and the Defense still is not very good. Oh & Tennessee lost to Cincy, the Jets who too had the ball with a chance to tie the game in the last two minutes lost by 26, Rams (the Bills best win dominated by the resurgent Phins)...... But I'll take 6-2....
  2. Because I was turning the corner on McD. He is an okay coach, justy haven't seen him turn the corner. The post above also stated 2 playoff appearences in 3 years. Again not great records andwas acheived playing some of the easiest schedules in the NFL and 2 losses in WC games, that were winnable (oh & blowing a 16-0 third quaretr lead too in one of them). Offense were rated 30,29 & 24th those years. After 4 weeks this year the Bills were near the top & have been much worse since.
  3. Again 2107-19 25-23 is not exactly lighting the league on fire.
  4. The Bills played a wounded team, missing their best offensive player Edelman and best Defensive player Gilmore. A team that lost it's last two games at home scoring all of 18 points. The Bills were lucky (yes a TO there is a flukish play) to get a last minute fumble to secure the win. McD coached as many of us are used to seeing (while others see something different), scared, too close to the vest and the inability to put away a vastly inferior opponent. The first four weeks the Offense had turned the corner and there was a buzz about this team. The last four is meh at best and back to looking much like McD coached teams 2017-19. Allen had 18 passes (and really the weather was not that bad). NE traded punch for punch against a Bills team that on paper should have won by 2 TD's. But should anyone here question McD & the Process, well let's just not go there......😡
  5. How anyone watching this game is not shaking their heads and wondering about the Bills coaching has their head in the sand. McD was terrible today.
  6. After the first 4 weeks there was a real buzz. Now the team has revertyed to the 2017-19 Bills where they are okay and you keep expecting more. Allen seems to have all the tools and looked like a franchise QB, and again he appears to have been neutered. They played passive and as if they were playing an elite team as a big underdog. Very unimpressive & yes I blame McD.
  7. A win is a win, but the Bills surprise surprise played scared. Very disappointed as again we see all of Buffalo's warts. 18 pass attempts by the Bills, so pathetic to see.
  8. It is not a no win situation. Losing is not an option today. The Bills are the better team and it is an expected win. If it was any team as banged up and a 2-4 record, the game would be an afterthought nationally. It is just that it is the Pats that there is any notoriety. Maybe it is because of how many here are so enamoured with McD, that I have made a big deal about it. The Bills should win easily and you are right that if the Bills win, I wiull say "Of course they shjould have won and no big deal". However a loss or a struggle & again it will show McD's weaknesses.
  9. Sure let's get excited if the Bills lead the dvision @ 5-3...... Lose & this will not be a happy place. Yes a loss tomorrow is inexcusable.
  10. And now with so-so (or bad weather) people are starting to make excuses should the Bills lose. To me this game and it's importance is magnified to me as a fan. The Patriots lost at home to a decimated Denver team & were dominated by the 49'ers. If they bounce back vs. the Bills, it will say more about the Bills then it does about the Patriots.
  11. It would be a terrible loss for a # of reasons. The fact that it is the Patriots definitely is at the top of the list. After three meh (or worse) performances in a row, trhe Bills do nee to assert themselves and just so happens it is New England (and the associated baggage).
  12. Beating Arizona on the road would be a nice victory. I don't think they are a great team, however the way the schedule falls (and prior to the bye week) it is a litmus test.
  13. I said it in an earlier thread, the bills can not afford to lose this game. It is not a statement game either. Very simply it is a game that the Bills need to win after three not great efforts to show they are a serious contender and a good team. Then they play statement games vs. Seattle & Arizona....
  14. Like when Miami won 20 sraight vs. Buffalo from 1970-79? I remember. Again this is NE, and yep a 2 win team, but it is more then a divisional game given the circimstances & the opponent. Just a simple fact.
  15. I am happy when the Bills win, I am not necessarily excited and truth be told not necessarily entertained either. Never been bored by a Bills win ever? Agree to disagree.....
  16. Great sexist response....😡 Am I supposed to cheer and agree with everything Buffalo does? Go through all my posts & you'll see yep I pretty much stay on topic...... Because these are the things that most interest me and bother me. 1. Was very unhappy with the team & their offense 2. Have always supported Allen and just wanted them to give him more reign and see what he could do. 3. Yep throw for 300 yards sometime between 2017-19 4. Thought the trade of Watkins was ridiculous and helped decimate the Offense and liittle attempt to replace him or help the offense. Oh yea the 2016 team went into week 16 with a chance to make the playoffs and screwed up terribly vs. the Dolphins (Tyrod threw for 300 yards that game). 5. Disliked McD's Defense only philosophy & play the game between the 20's, close to the vest.... 6. Thought the tough talk & The Process is so overblown 7. Peterman experiemnt and then doubling down in 2018 showed how little he knew or was interested in the Offense..... Anything I'm missing?
  17. No one is happy when their team loses, that is a given..... But many of the Dallas losses were exciting fun games. Name me a game the Bills lost during McD's first 3 years thgat was a compelling, exciting game as a Bills fan. Most were boring games imo, with McD's main goal being to keep the score down and the game between the 20's....
  18. I never did. I advocated being entertained watching the Bills. A win alone does not mean the game was exciting or fun to watch. Too often 2017-19 Bills games were terrible to watch. Forget the blowout losses. And actually because you keep harping. If you are not making the SB or are knocked out the first playoff game & since I invest 16 weeks watching & cheering for the Bills wanting them to go 16-0, I'd really like to have more games that were more entertaining then the many of the games were. I will continue to use the Pittsburgh game as a shining example of a game Buffalo won, but McD did everything he could wrt the offense to make it a terribly bad game to watch. Can add the 14-7 Tennessee game too (along with other wins the Bills had). I you don't get it, I give up. I am no longer responding to your posts. But keep reiterating this. And you know that how? Conversely he could have been further ahead, more poised & confident and they beat Houston. No one knows. And again EVERY COACH IN THE NFL has had their team throw for 300+ yards every year 2017-19 but McD, who wasn't able to do it once. And not every QB was a HOF'er.
  19. No, I expect more..... I have said too that I'm turing the corner on McD (but you ignore that), but I'm not that enamoured with many things 2017-19 or the record or the playoff appearances. As for Allen, I will repeat again and compare him to Burrow & Herbert, where I'm sure you'll compare him to Darnold, Mayfield & Rosen (and you maybe right or maybe I am)...... My view always was that they were too conservative with Allen and he could have been brought along quicker, which may have resulted in a different outcome vs. Houston. The fact McD is maybe the olny coach in the last 25 years not to have a QB throw for 300 yards in a game to me is telling.
  20. Because you & others are so enamoured with McD and the Process you don't realize that the offense stunk for 3 years playing weak schedules and conversley the Defence looked great. What I saw was being blown out a lot of times, terrible offensive execution and playcalling, a pathetic record vs. playoff teams 3-17 and only 5 wins vs. teams over .500 (the other two being an 8-7-1 & and 9-7 record). Oh & 0-2 in playoffs, both which were winnable games. Let's add to that terrible on challenges, third quarter adjustments, giving up leads as well. But let's talk about that 17-10 win vs. Pitt & Thanksgiving vs. Dallas and annoint McD. Marrone was an idiot to leave and Ryan was Ryan, but somehow stumbled and produced the same record.
  21. And you are right, but as I've pointed out McD 2017-19 25-23, Marrone/Ryan 2014-16 24-24.
  22. If using Streength of Schedule the Bills are the one's actually benefitting playing NE 2X/yr or thbey'd be weaker. Also NE plays the first place schedule. How so..... Brouught up other coaches & the top 4 are pretty much no doubters right now. McD at 25-23 (now 30-25) without a signature win & a 3-17 record vs. playoff teams is not close & really a silly premise.
  23. 25-23 in the first 3 years and so many have annointed him. This really is a joke (or the expectations so low)? Again last year the Bills played a joke of a schedule. He somehow was able to go through his first three years without his team throwing for 300 yards (yep my preoccupation, but no other team went more then 17 games without accomplishing this simple task and McD's team went 48 games!!!). Offense ranked 30,29 & 24, while playing the 21,27 & 27th Strength of Schedule the past three years..... I'm admittedley much happier with McD this year, but wasn't happy vs. Tenn & KC, and thus the next 3 weeks are important. To put him anywhere near Wade, Marv, Lou or Chuck is a joke.
  24. Wouldn't mind a taste in the regular season. Only beaten three playoff teams 2017-19, the Falcons 10-6, Chiefs 10-6 in 2017 & last year's Titans 9-7. A little practice (i.e. beating playoff teams) wouldn't be a bad idea.....😉
  25. You are not allowed to talk about these things with McD as coach, because remember it is a Process. Now being blown out, that's okay, because it happens. To actually blow-out a team, is just not something the Bills do..... Notwithstanding they have won some games by lopsided scores, but that is lost with the Offense (prior to this year) usually being shutdown come the second half.
