  1. Yeah Rico's system can be successful, but it doesn't fit our personnel. He's trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. 2 years this team was #1 in league rushing, and Rico changes the blocking scheme? It's also a terrible fit for TT. Bottom line, Rico needs to make some changes to the scheme. Too late in the season for major scheme overhaul, but he has to take another look at last years offense and what made them successful.
  2. Is this last years team? WTF, talk about a let down. Hope they learn from this debacle, they clearly weren't ready to play tonight. Maybe buying into the hype a little.
  3. I'd say Adolphus has just been OK. It's really the depth and constant rotation keeping these guys fresh. With that said, we all know it was because he didn't fit the DNA McD looks for in players. Being late for meetings and giving questionable effort doesn't fit the culture.
  4. Would love to know why Tate isn't active. I hate it, even if he doesn't factor in much on offense in this game plan, he's as steady as they come on punt return. Who fills that role now? Last time he wasn't active we had Clay and it almost cost us.
  5. Never cared for Hogan, always thought he was cocky. Now that he's with Pats, I like him even less. Here's hoping that shoulder is season ending. I know that sounds harsh, but my dislike for that team runs deep.
  6. Yeah, cause Dareus has been such a dominant player over the last few years. What, like 7 sacks last 3 years? Joke
  7. Thanks for saying this, because it's so true! Zay and TT don't seem to be on the same page. Sure, Zay hasn't helped himself and has dropped a few he should of caught, but it seems just about every time TT throws him the ball it's over his head, behind him, etc. Would love to see them get him involved early in the game with a few simple plays, just to get him into the game and some confidence. Maybe a screen or something?
  8. Milano has made some nice plays and filled in admirably (especially for a rookie), but don't kid yourself. Humber is the better player right now and we need him back ASAP. McD has confirmed Humber is the starter when back, as he should be.
  9. E Wood said it best, the Hide & Seek by Pitt WR's was cheesy at best. No problem with guys having fun but some of these celebrations are ridiculous
  10. Streeter arguably was our best WR in camp after Sammy left. Would love to see him back but all depends how he's recovered from injury, some guys never come back the same. Will be interesting to see what happens here. Tate and Holmes are only 2 that Bills would cut, and I think Holmes would be odd man out. Tate isn't flashy, but the guy is solid. I actually think Tate has potential to be a decent WR. To me, Holmes would be the obvious to go if Steeter is signed.
  11. Whaley either seemed to hit a home run or strike out, was a mixed bag. Off the top of my head: The Good: Jerry Hughes trade, Mike Gillislee off the street, Seantrel Henderson in 7th,, Darby, Shady, Preston Brown (not a stud but solid) The Bad: Dareus contract, Watkins trade up, reach for EJ Manuel I'm sure there's others but think these were the big ups and downs. Can't blame Whaley for Rex hire cause that was Pegula. I also don't blame him for Shaq (jury still out) and Reggie because I think those were Rex picks. I also don't give him much credit for this years draft because I believe they were heavily influenced by McD. IMO, Whaley's biggest issue was putting us in a bad cap situation and not focusing on character players, but when you have a guy like Rex chirping in your ear to just get me talented players and character wasn't questioned I think he was somewhat setup to fail in that aspect.
  12. I'd be surprised if Bills win this one. Raiders have extra rest and think the KC win is going to get them going. If Gaines and Poyer are out, Carr is going to have a field day.
  13. Moving Glenn would be a mistake. I could maybe see Miller getting traded though, but he's better than Ducasse.
  14. Concerned about every game, but think they should be able to win this one. So far, TB has not been a good team.
  15. Guessing this could mean Kaelin Clay might have a foot out the door, which means trading Seymour for this guy may not have been best move. I think the more interesting story though is working out Matt Simms. That seems very odd to me.
  16. That's ridiculous, this is the NFL where the best football coaches in the world are. You're telling me a coach only knows one scheme? A good coach looks at the players he has and devises a scheme to best fit them. A good coach would also take a look and say, wow these guys were #1 in the entire league for 2 straight years, I'm not touching that. I'll tweak something other things that we need to improve on.
  17. Regardless who starts we should win and get a few turnovers, but I think Fitz may give this team the spark it needs and would rather face Winston. TB isn't a good team right now, and I don't see that changing with Winston at the helm, especially if he's banged up.
  18. There isn't a luckier team in the league. Bob Craft is a scumbag and has to be feeding money to the zebras with the calls they get cause it makes no sense.
  19. Where's Greg Salas? Justin Hunter? JK!!! Kick the tires with Walt Powell? Is Rod Streater still hurt? We all liked Reily in pre-season. With an above average QB, these guys would suffice. In a good scheme and average QB, they'd definitely be serviceable. Problem is we have a below average passing QB in a weak/predictable/vanilla system. TT doesn't throw guys open, doesn't take chances, loves to dump off to RB and short passes to TE. We all complain about our WR group, but how many times has TT given them a chance to make a play? Yeah, they've had a few drops (Zay), but they just are getting the opportunity to make plays. Tate has been undervalued by this coaching staff. How about that TD catch he had? I've been a TT supporter, and I'm not calling for Peterman (yet), but he needs to start getting WR involved more and stop being so gun shy.
  20. The thing that's driving me nuts is it seems as though they are experimenting way too much with this team. You should not be evaluating and juggling positions during critical regular season games, especially since you're right in the thick of a playoff spot
  21. Umm, we saw 8 man boxes all the time the past 2 years, so this makes no sense
