Okay, I see where all the JA17 sensitively is coming from in the game threads. Didn’t see this until now. No idea if Allen has lost a step. Every game, I look at him as a brand new iteration. Sometimes, his arm is massive. Sometimes, his leaping is extraordinary. Sometimes, his scrambling his circus-filled, sometimes his vision is insane, sometimes, his speed is blazing, sometimes his jukes are jigglin’, sometimes his zigs and zags are smoke, sometimes his wristband doesn’t flip flop, sometimes his hair looks nice, sometimes I feel like we can’t lose with him. Usually, he’s all these things all the time. Don’t know if he’s a step slower through. Don’t care.

Allen needed an offensive guru at the start of his career to teach him the ways so that at the mid career point (now, unfortunately) he’s prepped to make it his offensive where everyone is accountable to him. At which point, the future OCs are Allen and the guru’s guys, and they are there to fine tune with JA17. But the Bills blew it, and now we can’t have that. So what the hell do we have?? I love the rollout plays that do do when we leave a fast defender unblocked chasing Allen and he chucks it 40 yards over the right sideline. It’s so effective. QB gets to run for his life, and throw on the run, just risking to risk. The WRs and TEs get to chase 50 yard drag routes across the entire field. RBs usually get to miss a block assignment. And OLine get to block while laterally shuffling, more risk just to risk. Hey, Let’s stop running meaninglessly designed plays like this, with our QB. Just a thought.

The touchdown run and the third down—blitz with no plan—throw to the flat was such a clinical embarrassment to the entire defensive coaching community.

Wow. Back to back weeks of untouched 15+ yard TD runs against this defense. That’s not good
