I understand it too. I’m never faulting Allen for something like this. Guy sees positive yardage on every play until the play is over. Nothing in me is blaming Allen for that universe ending play. Even if this happened, that 350 lbs monster is still killing him. The Play was awful, and this time Allen couldn’t save his inept coaches.

Kickers aren’t 1st round picks, not worth that trade. KC would just draft an All Pro whatever with our R1 pick, and then draft the best kicker in the league in the 6th. I say we just draft or sign a good one. Easy. Everyone seems to have kickers that punch through PATs like they’re tapping in one footers, while ours lines up on the wrong hash giving himself the worst possible angle and goal posts breadth. I have no idea why any kicker wouldn’t line up dead center. Play your odds, K’ers!

His team has an identity. They needed to shed some personalities—good and bad—and are building who they are, hopefully with Allen and McDermott in lock-step. I really like the addition by subtraction.

Bills aren’t given enough credit here. Just because Philly was able to acquire tons of pro bowlers doesn’t mean they’ve accomplished their goals. I’m not a believer in the franchise at all, and I think a sense of belief year after year is the indicator of a great front office.

Can I state my random Bills thoughts here while I watch Around the NFL week 2..? Anyone else feel like we are a little grittier this season? I feel it. I’ll take gritty. To not be a soft team, gritty may be the way to go to counter the inmates the Chiefs possess.

I know we want Von to be that guy, but add the Lions to the tribe of teams that have a superstar defensive player up front. Starting to think this might be a necessity to win the last game of the season.
