Rooting for him for sure, as long as it doesn't hurt or impact the Bills. Great story. Consistent with this wild season! -
Excited for them!!

So cool that you were there! I was in Nashville from 93-99 but happened to be in FL supporting my wife running her first marathon during the MCM, IIRC (think I watched some of the game in the airport). My idiotic move that trip was running three miles with her in Tevas - Got some very bad blisters, of course.

Grew up in Buffalo and was in Nashville for grad school. I use y’all occasionally without any sort of southern accent. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Go Bills!! Fu@k Instincts!!

I know what the percentages are according to the models, etc. But here are my own takes: Bills will definitely make the playoffs. No question about that. They have about a 15% chance to win the division. Unlikely but not completely impossible. That percentage increases to maybe 35% with a win this Sunday.

Narrative this past weekend: Josh will get sacked a lot//running for his life. Result: 0 sacks Narrative for this coming weekend: Bills can't stop Bengals and Bengals D sucks. Expected result: Bills get some stops and Bengals D isn't total trash!

A Few Thoughts about the Steelers Game - Community Edition
TheWei44 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Totally understood - It's been a rollercoaster for sure. And extremely frustrating at times!! I'm here in Cincy and would much rather have Josh and be 8-4 than have Burrow and be 4-8 praying for a miracle! -
A Few Thoughts about the Steelers Game - Community Edition
TheWei44 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everyone is of course free to say or write whatever they want, but your post is the fan's reaction equivalent of snagging defeat from the jaws of victory after a solid win. Not perfect by any stretch, and it doesn't mean we're SB bound or even playoff bound necessarily, but your 1-10 take is way too "glass half empty"/pessimistic/negative/woe is me than warranted in my opinion. -
Don't think we'll win out but people seem to be ignoring two key facets of yesterday's game: (1) the weather conditions were not conducive to throwing the ball (plus our ground game was on fire), so yesterday would not be the best game to evaluate our passing game and (2) unleashing "running Josh" can be a game changer against any opponent. We save that for key games/moments, and it's huge. Don't underestimate it's value down the stretch!

Happy thanksgiving, Bills brethren! Driving to Pittsburgh today but back to Ohio Saturday before the game. I'll make sure to kick some Steelers fans in the nuts if I have an opportunity to do so! Go Bills!! PS, I was worried that using the word "brethren" might offend but per Google there is a definition as I intended: humorous people belonging to a particular group.

We play a lot of good defenses down the stretch so who knows. I think we'll win 2 of 3 at home and 1 of 3 on road to finish with 10 wins and WC spot.

Week 12, Bills v. Texans, PREDICT THE SCORE!

The good thing about it being a short week is that it's a short week for them too. I realize we have to travel, but it's not like they'll have tons of extra time to prepare. Punch 'em in the mouth and never look back! In all seriousness, I do think a relatively conservative run-first, mistake free offense makes sense to start. But if they commit to stopping the run, be ready to pivot quickly to a pass happy attack with rhythm and mostly quick passes.

Good that it’s in Cincy and that Bengals are theoretically still alive. I think Bengals could give Pats a serious run for the money
