I’m in the camp of addressing the CB & DT needs first. Preferably the DT for the reason you said but more that if you hit it correctly it can absolve a lot of the issues in the McD/Babich schemes on the line and secondary. Obviously an injection of talent is needed in the backend with Douglas likely gone but I have faith they find a guy with one of their other picks between of 56, 62 or 107. Deon Walker and Alfred Collins are 2 of my favorite prospects right now on the DT front but will probably be going in or around the 2nd to 3rd round, at pre-combine. I believe one or both of them land into the conversations or late first early second rounders after the combine is concluded. If Harmon or Nolan are there at 30, I’d hope they strongly consider that selection too.

Slick Rick about to be Bills most valuable non player person.

Another awesome Children’s Story!!! -
Other than that bone headed INT in FG territory he, like you said, played a quality game. Cant complain about the selection. Not the only reason they won but certainly was key. Kid elevates himself in the Super Bowl in back to back appearances.

So we trade Brady for Brady?

The Eagles beat the Chiefs by doing the opposite of the Bills

Well said. I think that will solve a lot of our problems. -

Honestly man, I’d rather they go get a safety in FA. There’s a few decent options. Most notably Javon Holland, Camryn Bynum and Trayvon Moehrig for what we need; Free. -

Exactly. People banging on about Sean’s defensive coaching philosophy and scheme are the same that are praising the Eagles through and through. The systems are similar in a lot of ways. Talent is the problem. -
Bills fans tend to find themselves rooting for the Eagles a lot

It was either a close win or them getting the brakes beaten off them. There was no in between. True roster quality showed last night. -

Superbowl Game Thread - Chiefs vs Eagles
Sojourner replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im not in the writing off Mahomes camp by any means but this is his second Super Bowl in his “GOAT” period where he’s played like absolute trash. This was worse than SB55. The casual fan will look back and see it’s not that bad a stat line and may even say the Bucs game was worse? Not even close. The only time Mahomes did anything the defense was in limp mode and the final 2 scoring drives were against the majority of their backups. Passer rating, love or hate the metric, Mahomes had a 10.7 rating prior to the Eagles letting up 34-0. I can’t think of a worse performance outside Rich Gannon’s in SB37… -
There was some dubious calls early but it seemed the refs did a make up and it evened itself out. They couldn’t give them the freebies with what’s happened in their last 2 games on route to the Super Bowl. Fans and media have been relentless is pointing out suspicions of calls that attribute a sense of favoritism. Directly or indirectly. The biggest takeaway from the game in terms of officiating was the strip sack by Milton Williams. Jalen Carter (98) crushing Mahomes’ face mask into his skull lol. Thought for sure it would have been RTP.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Sojourner replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
JFC. People can’t help themselves? The guy put all his stat line up in essential garbage time. The score was 34-0… If he was that good the difference would have been visible prior to the end of the third quarter. He has Mahomes and Reid. That makes up for a lot. Stop doing this to yourselves lol -
The fact that there’s a thread for Fitz being in Canton and another that essentially questions whether Allen is qualified right now is mind boggling lol

The Super Bowl is more like the Sunday’s outside Bills playing. The social aspect is what matters. Good people and good food!

Opening k/o returned for a TD, was +17000 a few days ago. $10 down will see a nice $1700 return

Will be in Jamestown at a co-workers party this year but he asked for some help as he’s got between 30 and 40 people coming for his first hosting. Bringing wings, beef dogs and zinger fries got a few others bringing stuff but he’s from Mexico originally so they’re doing a whole buffet of things traditional: tamales, enchiladas, Carnitas and elote. Therell be others that they make on top of others bringing. Should be great eating! Hope everyone’s parties they’re hosting or attending are a success!

The 9era@Bills should be on there instead of Raiders@Chiefs. I understand why but the game wasn’t that great a watch aside from the 4th quarter when the Raiders threw the whole game away on errors. If not 9ers/Bills then Eagles@Ravens imo

You know what’s crazy, is they should never be that high to begin with but if we made it to the SB, you know damn well those prices are moving towards double 3k…

You buy the squares you want. Very different way they do it. It’s only $5 a square so it’s not that big a deal but still lol I get that, and a lot of others I am in are that way.
-
I got screwed on the squares at my work. 5/6 and 8/0 were the only ones left when I got back from vacation lol

A wrist injury shouldn’t derail a player who was really good prior to it. Maybe some growing pains on return due to the rookie status but he had plenty of time to get back on track. 7 games is ample time to return. He’s a rookie so there’s obviously growing pains but I’m not expecting him to burst onto the scene and dominate because of an offseason. Hope for the best but expect a season around the one just past, 40-750-6. Not great but certainly not awful. May I be wrong!!!
