Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
Sojourner replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pickens only becomes available if they get Adams. Even then, they might be unwilling to part with him. Definitely if they come up empty on the trade with the Raiders. -
She wanted the embrace of someone else, who like her, catches Josh’s balls.

As long as they are blitzing, which they’d be insane not to if you’ve watched any film on the Jets, it might not matter who’s back there 😂

Im with you, Cleveland hasn’t been great but he has played a decent portion of that being the case. Maybe he’s seen enough of Watson, can’t be bothered and subconsciously, even though he’s stated otherwise, actually wants out of there. And like you said, a change of scenery would help both him and the team he might end up on I’m sure. Who would I rather as a fan the Bills acquire if they can? Adams, obviously. But going by whats been stated in this thread multiple times, the salary and draft compensation is going to be hefty given the Raiders stated intentions/desires. Cooper for a late round pick and salary is the better deal. -

Elite? Disagree. I posted these stats a few pages back that support the contrary to your point: 47 targets for 20-208-2td. 9 drops. #4 in targets #57 in yards Adams, the other talked about target, is #54 in targets but #56 in yards. Just as productive with significantly less targets in only 3 games opposed to Cooper’s 5. Those 9 drops Cooper is credited on the season so far are the same or more than 25 of the other 31 TEAMS in the NFL. I like Cooper and think he’d improve in this offense but so far he’s been very underwhelming this season in Cleveland. -

Well, if this fan base goes by that logic it’s worth multiple firsts. Get him in and you get a good chance at a coaching change or new regime. 😝 -

FA in 2025. Njigba 2026. Might be tough to get him for anything less than a 1st. Wouldn’t be opposed but you’d like to get a contract extension if you do trade for him. Furthermore, would Seattle even get rid of him given the way that division is right now? They look like a decent bet to make the playoffs. Removing DK drastically hurts that offense and probability of a post season you would think? -
Maybe it wasnt the right “Om-be-unce and day-coor” like at applebees? we’ll never know. just a “fresher breath air”.

Rookie WR Separation win-rates thru week 5

I’m not seeing win rates by route tree. That information could be more of a story teller. Will this Twitter account eventually provide them? -
Devin White Released by Eagles. Should we take a flyer?

Agree given milano is coming back, bernard back and decent and dorian stepping up. he has however not played a single snap for philly so the “bad defense” is a moot point. money spent elsewhere is a better option but he did get 3.5m so I’ll go out on a limb and say if he is signed it’s for cheap. -

Yeah, maybe not then. Thought the power rankings would have been by record and overall play combined 🤣 -

Salary and draft pick wise, absolutely. Watching Cleveland games this season he’s had the target but the catching/production hasn’t followed suit. Watson hasn’t been great but Coop hasn’t done much to help himself either. That’s not to advocate staying away from him, just point out a fact. 47 targets for 20-208-2td. 9 drops. #4 in targets. (Adams #54, 2 fewer games) #57 in yards. (Adams #56, 2 fewer games) -

Not from what I know. The only reason he left Tampa was they wouldn’t give him the contract he was asking for so he requested a trade going into last season. Didn’t work out and he ended up a Free Agent after a decent season. Why it hasn’t worked out in Philly is the real question. The LB play there isn’t great. Nakobe Dean and Trotter Jr. are pretty much non existent. He probably makes his way back to Tampa I would presume. -
Well now we know why they don’t.

Can’t seem to think of a QB who has muscular arms.

Saleh firing left the door open for the division. 👀

Was surprised the Bhakitari move never materialized but the Tyron Smith & Morgan Moses might be what they would have gotten anyway, minus the Rogers connection. Aside from a trade the only real options on the FA market seem to be DJ Humphries and Cameron Fleming. The latter looked absolute cooked the handful of snaps he got in Denver last season. Let’s hope they worry more about what is more of a luxury and not the necessity which in turn causes the wheels to continue falling off. -

MLB is different. You got around 160 games a year. By the time you cut your losses with a manager you have enough time or games to redeem the season if need be. Most NFL teams who can their head coach in season have already gone through a third to half of the season. At that point it’s usually as the result of a very poor record that you just don’t have enough time or talent to turn around and make a post season. Jets are in a position where they have the talent and aren’t too far in the hole to make the post season and have a chance at a run. -
Josh has to get countless decisions right on game day. McD has a handful due to Babich taking over the DC duties. Somehow he still messes it up. I can easily criticize Josh. The same with Sean. Not that my perspective matters or has a place but I have excused McDermott many times for his wrong decisions that have cost games. Can’t give a pass for so many egregious errors by the HC any more. It’s multiple times a season now. Again, with Babich taking over play calling on the defense you should never have personnel and game management issues, especially with “extra eyes” to help.

I like where you are going but if scenario B is a reality then we have a problem. There is plenty talent on this roster. If the FO is telling themselves that an above average roster with a superstar QB isn’t good enough then they shouldn’t be making any more decisions. You have no idea how long you have a QB as talented as Josh. You do everything in your power to make moves that correlate to winning. Safety and WR are our biggest issues. The other is pass rusher but that is too rich a premium with very few quality ones in the league as it is. There’s injured players and then the suspended Von. IMHO, doing nothing to address either of those 2 position groups is hurting more than any move that fails out. -
Still living off his dad’s name, who imo wasn’t that great a coach anyway. He coached Joe Montana. Very little of his input was due to Joe’s success lol
