  1. Yeah, there’s a few friends I have here in Ohio who are Steeler fans. They aren’t too fond of him as a player as he doesn’t accentuate or buy in to the “Steeler way”. If he was in a position where he’s the 1 or 1a/b does his attitude improves and the tantrums disappear? Who knows. If they extend him in this upcoming offseason or during 2025, then they believe so. Huge concern but the youth and talent is there to maybe overlook it for a few years if you believe otherwise? Seahawks is interesting to monitor next year, DK is a FA in 2026 & Njigba the following however at that point I think our front office will have taken a measured approve to find a serious solution to the WR position, be it during this season or next.
  2. Appreciate the optimism. Refreshing in the desolate period after a loss.
  3. That would be a sensational acquisition but there’s no way they get rid of him. Dude had a phenomenal season last year given the QB play and whilst the play has “improved” this year, it’s only marginal. Maybe they move on from him next season if they don’t extend him?
  4. Hope so. I saw the Saints are down to their third string center in the other Connor McGovern. Chris Jones might be in for a big night. Im hoping the Saints can string some stuff together like they did last week but more consistent throughout the game. Kamara, Olave and Shaheed are fun to watch when things are clicking with Carr.
  5. Think the pressure of showcasing he does not in fact “need Diggs” in that revenge game was looming large in his head. Might be that way for some of the play calls too. He was erratic, anxious and forceful with his play. Even the rushes he’d normally be easily executing on broken plays were missing. Almost zero composure. Whilst Josh doesn’t need Diggs or any receiver of top talent, a WR needs a QB more than the other, they certainly help and make the game much easier. Hopefully there’s some acquisition or insane emergence/turnaround from one of these guys on the roster. The latter I’m not holding my breath for.
  6. dude. I don’t get what you all are complaining about. Rewatch the play. The coverage underneath the safeties was in press to take away the short pass, 2 safeties deep incase there’s a beater. The Texans had time to attack anywhere on the field with a play given the time outs in pocket. Not advocating him to be fired by any means but come on man… there’s plenty coaches out there who can equal what he’s done when you have a QB as talented as Josh. Someone better? Which is what you would want. That’s the real conundrum.
  7. Can the Saints pull off some magic tonight and get back to their start of season form on defense???
  8. The Kincaid was more reasonable to challenge, closer. But like @Beast said; would have lost both challenges. Cook made a heck of a catch if it were in bounds.
  9. Jet or Saint was it all along imo. Commanders due to being able to eat the contract and give up a pick like NYJ. We need someone of quality that much is for sure. Wasn’t against it, wasn’t totally for it prior to Sunday. After no Shakir, who probably can easily be removed with the right game plan, there needs to be some for of reinforcements. An Amari Cooper, Deandre Hopkins or Tyler Boyd wouldn’t be a bad option if their teams are willing to part ways with them.
  10. $10-12m depending one where you pull the data from.
  11. Yeah, it’s not for me. I didnt interpret that as “jerk” like. So hopefully mine wasn’t either as that wasn’t the intention.
  12. Yeah man. I didn’t say you don’t have it. Just that it’s not accessible for me right now for some reason.
  13. I’ve had it earlier on occasion than the 24 hours after game but it’s still not even available for me yet either. NFL+ Premium here.
  14. Id be curious to see how that game would have ended had Nico Collins not been ruled out for 3 quarters of play. When fully healthy, roster for roster, I think they’re ahead of us be it very slightly.
  15. 0 yards on that drive makes it even worse.
  16. A mini-mini rebuild…
  17. Nah. Can’t be lol
  18. Not necessarily but I ain’t following a second team cause I don’t like something. I don’t get a second wife when the one I have is providing more headaches than usual. 😂
  19. I didn’t say you did. It was a reference to another thread which you referenced but in reality encompasses the same thing; you don’t like what you’ve seen and feel he is an issue. It’s just another thread of the same thing, hence the “when will this end”. Read what I said. His best season was 2020. His “careless” years. Yet, he gets an award of excellence for a whole month but could be better.
  20. Lost a step? Off? When will this end? Off but wins Player Of The Month? Weird. The last time he won that award was during that 2020 season, twice, which he was undoubtably robbed of the MVP. That season might have been one of the best by a QB ever.
  21. If following a second team keeps the majority of the doom and gloom threads to a minimum, yes. Let’s get those on that train!
  22. Very similar to Shakir in how you deploy him. When he’s on the field I guess it makes a little more sense to be invisible. Was surprised he wasn’t used how they do him seeing as he was out.
  23. 100%. $24m / 3years. We better get used to it lol
  24. I hear you, I’m just saying that his best years have been on teams records were 5-11 5-11 8-8-1 4-13 It works out to around 60 receptions for 700 yards a year. An option lower down on the selection. For around the same price they could have had Tyler Boyd. Even DJ Chark, Noah Brown would have been cheaper.
