  1. Mayfield can "deliver the ball" with some of the best accuracy I've personally ever seen out of a qb prospect. Allen, lmfao
  2. Not really, some have done it their whole college career, and some literally never did it more than a couple times, and it showed with their combine footwork. If he's telling the truth then you could definitely eliminate some names from contention. this is not an argument that the QBs who haven't can't be good, btw.
  3. McCarron warming the seat for rookie to step in at some point in October/November. I'll take the potential extra losses this setup might give us for 2018, as long as that QB is there. Do it right.
  4. I have a friend with Schizophrenia and his breakdown was eerily similar to this. I hope Zay is okay and is getting proper help.
  5. You might not see the difference but it's there. Allen, Jackson, Rudolph etc are trash and we have as good a chance as any other year of getting a franchise qb up top. Continuing to do what you say will go a long way towards guaranteeing mediocrity until we suck so bad we dont have to trade up, which didn't happen ONCE during our !@#$ing century long playoff drought. !@#$ that plan. !@#$ that thinking. Get your franchise qb.
  6. giving up all of that stuff still lets us make a 1st, 2nd, 3rd,4th,5th, 6th round pick this year, plus everything but a second next year. How often can we realistically take a qb high and still be able to say that? It's time.
  7. We would literally still have a full draft. But "wait til next year"..."the time isn't right"...and ten years of 7-9 to 9-7 go by with every team in that stretch having at least one franchise qb while we sit on our thumbs spinning in circles making sure we have our Matt Milanos and Karlos Williams's.
  8. Sure there is, and that reason is his accuracy when facing real defenses on a football field in pads. We always talk about completion percentage, but completion percentage can be fixed or reflect positively/negatively on system and teammates. Watching a qb throw inaccurately, however, cannot be fixed as easily. And when I SEE a qb as inaccurate as Allen or Jackson, no amount of citing historical COMPLETION PERCENTAGES will change the way I feel. Only improved mechanics and accuracy can, and that literally never happens.
  9. I'd add more. Time to stop !@#$ing around, Buffalo Bills. Get your quarterback and build your team. I guarantee we won't be pissing and moaning 3 years from now about extra seconds/thirds when we're heading into a home AFC championship game. Even if it doesn't work, we still have a much greater chance of that in the near future if we make a move NOW for a qb like Rosen than if we wait another indeterminate amount of time, perpetually in a state of "that's too much" or "this qb class is weak, maybe next year". !@#$ing do it.
  10. Seriously, what the hell are some of these posters smoking?
  11. It comes from watching his alarmingly bad decision making and throws when he was in the unique and unimportant situation of...wearing pads against a (always weak, in that conference) defense in real actual football games.
  12. idgaf about anthems but i do gaf about being a good qb and he is not a good qb
  13. As someone who currently lives in Norman, if he can put up those numbers in the !@#$ing midwest winds that I have to bike through every !@#$ing day, then he can handle the weather in Buffalo
  14. Rosen Mayfield Darnold ------------------------------------------------ The don't-draft-these-guys-in-rounds-1-3 line--------------------------------------- Jackson Allen The rest
  15. It had better be Rosen with Mayfield as a backup plan
  16. The accuracy "issue" is not debunked by playing with numbers, even if the "completion percentage issue" is. Watching him shows that his placement and accuracy in general are subpar, and there is no historical context which should make anyone confident that he becomes good at that stuff, or that he can be a good NFL QB without it.
  17. It's easy to disect on tape that his football IQ is literal garbage if you're watching the right tape. Ie, tape of him playing football, not chucking in shorts or palming basketballs
  18. If either Jackson or Allen do well, I will eat crow. If Rosen and Mayfield aren't top ~8 QBs for a long time, I'll also eat crow. That is the only position I care about enough to really have opinions about these guys, other than to really root for Barkley and Griffin.
  19. Call me crazy, I know, but I don't have footage available of the ~5th best QB prospects hundreds of attempts this past year? It's hard enough to get anything beyond highlight videos, much less an exact !@#$ing throw from the exact game.
  20. I've watched him a few times and his touch/placement is not there. Even in the highlight clips his open-by-an-acre receivers are adjusting and slowing and veering to get under his throws. I've seen them downright halt in their routes before. It's bad and since accuracy can't be taught, I stay far away from Lamar (and Allen).
  21. Pretty sure that muslims also believe in the same young earth creation story, if they are "literalists", because the christian texts are also holy texts in islam, so in a way he was also mocking muslims who take that story literally too.
  22. You should hear what these people, and closely related electric universe "theorists", think about physics and gravity in particular. They don't care what physics says.
  23. Yeah, if you could give a more thorough writeup of this I'd like to read it, but I don't have time rn to go listen myself.
