    I believe he will be on a roster but not for Bills. I do not believe he could come back to Bills as backup but he may be willing to join another team as backup or even as practice squad member getting healthy enough to play and be effective which is different..

    He is good executing plays in practice which helps teams learn playbook.

    But some will clearly not be on roster since there are 4 QBs (one a UFA), 2 punters and 7 other UFAs. Beane might sign some of the UFAs but not all.

    We can be base nickel but Bills need ability to change defense when defense is being attacked and that means we need players who can play in it and coaches who can effectively coach it and game plan it.

    What is amazing is the Saints brought Nate's QB coach to New Orleans. They needed someone good on whiteboard I guess.

    Unlike a lot of QBs he has not been injured a lot and the barnacles affect performance. He stated in conference this was his first surgery and some have a few before leaving college.

    Bills need a bigger back like Ravens use. Maybe they can get one for PS to get ready.

    Part of the issue with our defense was use of later picks which were coached up and free agents which were discounted and under evaluated by posters. The player who Bills used high pick on and then awarded a high contract to was injured twice and is being let go. Bills no longer have two senior safeties to help disguise defenses and cover holes in it.

    Who is going dismiss him? Certainly not Pegula for he will participate when welcome but does not try to direct football decisions which is something posters often complain about from many owners in NFL.

    Drafts are very important when they are served in an ice cold mug for they help dull the pain.

    Some have poor skills at observation hence reason why they have not been signed by teams as scouts or analysts.

    Numbers are likely agent released figures and likely some incentives and other gotchas but likely still more then Bills were expecting to be paid. He did make some very good plays and depends on whether the scheme makes him a weakness or a strength.

    The reason is according to some self proclaimed experts ST players should be filled with UDFAs and practice squad players. How can you compete against them?

    GMs make most of the decisions although occasionally they do put valuable input as Pegula did on Josh recruitment trip. Usually the issue is when owners override the people they are paying to do evaluations and do football decisions as $nyder did wanting players signed to attend to his parties.

    Yea dumb for not keeping him and Giants not tendering him because it would cost $3M.

    If Bills press release "Danar Hamlin has been released" or "Danar Hamlin has been traded" it is a mistake? IMO he got his year of publicity and good will and any position on 53 (whether he is active or especially if he is inactive) needs to be earned. I think Browns should trade for him - they need help with PR. My favorite Damar:

    That is my problem with rotations - if you are being paid to be a big dog you need to be on the field barking except when game results are not in question. Some players do not want that many snaps but they want the money so they can last longer.
