I was making a small joke after "He had the physical sequence down pat."
-
Does that me he should be kicking the PAT (Point After Touchdown)?
-
I feel for MODs who will deal with this being brought up in many threads despite rules. Reminds me of a bunch of rebelious teenagers who have hiden all the beach chairs.

NFLPA rules. There is limited amount time they are allowed to practice so in this case a player would need to do both practices with additional player needing to be the holder. And if player was injured the team would need to replace two players until player recovered, Besides according to some fixed (why is when male is it called fixed? Sounds like broken to me) experts on site you can replace all of the special teams members with UDFAs from high school and save the money for real players.

Maybe Barkley participated in Punt, Pass and Kick like other NFL QBs such as Jim Kelly, Troy Aikman and Dan Marino? It is a shame that NFL cancelled sponsorship of that program. Even Andy Reid participated in it. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-preseason-notebook-week-3-carolina-panthers-kaiir-elam-matt-barkley-matt-araiza

The scene at a Charlotte Bills Bar 4 hours before the game!
Saxum replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw a person with a Peterman jersey. It was a genuine one not a Chinagate knockoff. (a lot of the Chinagate ones are ones which are made in same factory but failed QB and were written off and taken by internal employee and resold). -
Pregame thread: Bills at Panthers preseason game 3
Saxum replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
yes. All games are scheduled although some are really weird times like 3 AM in morning. SATURDAY 12:00 AM EDT New England Pat(heric)s at Las Vegas Raiders 03:00 AM EDT Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers https://www.nfl.com/network/schedule/1661558400 Often schedule on NFL Network site is wrong however: I have seen completely different progams on. -
Have you tried ignoring a poster whose posts you do not like? It works unless someone quotes poster and then I need to read it anyways.

if salaries keep going up with current hyperinflation robots will be cheaper and will not sit out for contract demands or demand to be traded shortly after getting new contract.
-
They are not cutting Matakevich. They had opprotunity to release him earlier and they kept him inactive as they did other starters. Yes contracts for vested veternas are only guarenteed post week 1 UNLESS contract has clause which guarentees it.

Well, I can guess where Matt Haack might be going...

Please talk to you therapist about trying to speak for "all". I am a big Frank Reich fan (I have a personally signed poster from him) but that was Moorman who not only could hold but could throw and run for 1st downs. -
Jake Kumerow. He was used in plays where they needed a blocker down field where most teams would have used a TE. For in line blocking use an extra lineman like they have done last 2 years. Frankly both were roles which had been done by Lee Smith but he had wanted to play near home and Bills obviously did not want to trade him to Tennesse so Atlanta was a good alternate.

Patriots' offense is a disaster per The Athletic's beat reporter

I am sure they can cheat better than anyone else in league. -
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/micah-hyde-12440/ https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/jordan-poyer-12500/# I am a fan of both Hyde and Poyer (I was advocate of Bills signing Hyde as soon as he was available from Green Bay) but Coach McD's defense has depended too much on those two players and both are being paid well now. Poyer is pushing for extension due to new money contract & new agent but with NFL hyperinflation everything costs more and there is not much money to be spared. I could see adding incentives to contracts especially playoff win bonuses and Superbowl bonuses. Just because another player got paid (or overpaid i.e. Brown's QB) does not necessarily mean all players will get ridiculous raises. I would have same opinion if Josh got new agent and pushed for Bills to match Deshaun Watson's contract. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/rankings/strong-safety/

Trade him OJ Howard back?
-
Agree about Poyer. They did a stunt in game to free a DL to blitz around end and Poyer engaged Offense Lineman. Offense Lineman gave him a look "Who do you think you are?" and Poyertwo hand pushed him into backfield preventing QB from staying in pocket. But Bills unfortunately need to find money for future and while other teams can afford to pay a safety this much Bills can't. Poyer hopefully will talk to Shaq Lawson and Jordan Phillips; the grass is not always greener on the football fields.
-
I cannot see Poyer getting the extension at the money he is looking for. He will be making more money than Hyde and then Bills encounter same issue following year. Thought at one point they had given extensions so Poyer and Hyde contracts ended same time since as a duo they are IMO more valuable than each singlely.

Since this is a cleanup operation it is likely he was not expecting to need it nor were the Chargers.

Bills “trying to run the clock out” on Tre’Davious White PUP list decision
Saxum replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
if they knew he would be available week 5 he would not be on 4 week PUP list since he could not practice with team. Bills can keep him inactive each week rather than another player allowing him to practice at his own, NFLPA mandated slower pace, until he is ready for live snaps. I do not think the #53 player is worth putting him on PUP list especially with PS callups. -
Bills “trying to run the clock out” on Tre’Davious White PUP list decision
Saxum replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Considering the first half of season is a lot tougher I disagree. If he can play let him play with a limited snap count and examination by doctor after every game. Only Pat(riot)s get a week 7 buy paid for out of Krafty's pocket. -
Deshaun Watson to be suspended 11 games via settlement
