Last our playoff opponents (counting the upcoming game) have all been DIFFERENT AFC South opponents and next could be Titans which would be next in rotation. After 3rd Bills Superbowl I expected our next Superbowl opponent would be Eagles but I was wrong.

It is not a hard name to spell (Russian I believe) but I grew up in household where many of my relatives had non-Americanized German and Polish last names. I have always been a special teams fan and hate it when it seems teams just use depth players on special teams and then complain about results. Tyler" Dirty Red" Matakevich is a very good tackler so this does not surprise me. He was person Special Teams coach wanted to be first in priority as free agents. When we signed him I went and looked for film on him and his technique is so solid Winfield would have complemented him. He is not just special teams but defense depth and should be looked at in substitutions for goal line and short yardage plays.

Remember Flores is used to making plays on defense and special teams so I am guessing he still did not think game was out of reach but even our backups were better than he expected.

I remember during playoff games in Superbowl years doing that. A Cowpokes fan sent me a high priority message with false subject in it and in it had scores during a playoff game. His boss did not find it funny since it was a violation of rules and he was suspended a week without pay. He also needed to take down all his Dallas posters, etc. since they were "contributing factors". He also was put on schedule during Superbowl and he was told he could not access unclassified phone or TV. Evidently people working that day took turns on telling him plays/scores and at end of day he was convinced there was a blowout with Cowpokes QB with injury which may cost him his leg. He was furious on day he returned got close to being suspended again.

All parts of the team helped. On defense and special teams their performance was very Phish like.

Some players make better backups as starters due to health. We had tackle who was that - great third tackle who would play as substitute but as starter he could not stay healthy.

I think that combination has too many reminders of the Frank Reich comeback game to some. Bills lost to Oilers and then faced them again with first half looking like a loss and then Bills with backup QB makes greatest comeback.

I do not think Dorsey has enough experience to be OC for HC with defense background which is why Diabol if he gets offer as HC for team which does not have a coach he wants for QB he may make Dorsey an offer. Dorsey as OC for Diabol HC: asset Dorsey as OC for offense oriented HC: may be asset Dorsey as OC for defense oriented HC: not an asset IMO
