Defending Super Bowl champs. Bills, Jets, and Dolphins all making moves to close the gap. This year is going to be the most competitive in recent memory. Personally, I think the Jets have made the biggest jump so far, though they were also the farthest back.

Sometimes you need to have a little patience. They don't have to solve every positional need in the first week of FA. The best trade Whaley ever made came after the draft in 2013. There will also be cuts after June 1st. They want clay, I want clay, but I don't want them to be in a position where they are forced to offer a contract that precludes making any more moves over the next 3-4 months.

I understand, and I am sure he is thick skinned in normal discussions. Engaging people here serves him no purpose in his professional career. Maybe that's why he use to show up at PPP in the "tps inebriated state' once in awhile....he let it hang loose about things unrelated to "business".

As a poster maybe, but as I recall he was ridiculed by people relating to his work, sources, etc. Why would you waste your time here? I'm sure he reads the Wall, like most media, players, etc, but there really is no benefit for him being a regular participant here.

You have the splashy stuff covered, but I'd like to see Easely and Wynn back, as well as a run stuffing DT.

I think Whaley is setting things up to be true his words--they will pick the BPA regardless of position.

I know Rex has said he wants a run-stuffer at DT, and they certainly don't have the classic space-eating NT on the roster. Wynn is more of a 3-4 DE I believe, so it seems he would fit the scheme, but they'd still need the NT?

I would bet $ this will be KW's last year. He'll be 33 going into the 2016 season with $7m of pure cap space freed up if released. Maybe it will be time to put Charles in charge?
