  1. A Chad and Yeezus attack on the same day...Cheezus!!
  2. This morning Beane essentially provided the reasons for the big trades. when discussing Watkins, he mentioned whether a player wanted to re-sign and at what cost; with Darby he mentioned scheme fit; then said Dareus has been discussed ad nauseam. He didn't state these explicitly, rather he was making a general point that trades have different circumstances, then blurted out different possible reasons that just happened to coincide with the particular player mentioned. I think those coincidental reasons are consistent with what many have argued here. The important factors driving decisions: culture, scheme, and cap management. Darby was a scheme/culture casualty; Sammy and Dareus were culture/cap casualties.
  3. He tied for the team lead in sacks playing in only 10 1/2 games. He's no Von Miller or Joey Bosa, but he gives above average pass rush ability and run D. I will be shocked if either Lawson or Hughes is gone, though Beane has certainly done some shocking trades. I seem them keeping both and drafting a pass rusher early since they need reinforcements there.
  4. What, you don’t think Cap could step right in?
  5. Ricky led the DTs in tackles in that game. He may stick around.
  6. Yes, the Bills have shown they are tough team, and they accomplished a miracle feat after getting rid of some of their (perceived) top talent. I'm all on board, but they still need an infusion of talent at some key positions. I think we can "win the off-season!"
  7. From what we know right now, it will be tough to win more than 3 away games next year.
  8. I don't know how good this guy is, but I hope the Bills draft him just for that name.
  9. I'll be disappointed but not upset. This team has a few holes to fill still, so I see this as a beginning to better days ahead...
  10. Gotta root for the falcons here for the draft pick. Every little bit helps.
  11. Thought I'd add my "step up" player on D. The key to the game will be Rickey Hatley, DT. He was brought in to replace Coleman and played a third of the snaps against Miami. If the Bills stop the run, he will be a big part of it.
  12. What was the first thing Kyle did when the Bengals scored? He grabbed his boys, not another player, not a coach, his boys.
  13. Clay and Zay. Their CBs are very good, so it will be TEs and the slot WR who need to step up.
  14. Can't wait for Chadwick's inside info about this.....
  15. That 98 playoff loss to the Fins, infamous for Jimmy Johnson smashing a box of Flutie Flakes in the locker room after the game...
  16. Patricia is a hot name too, so I can see in AZ or Detroit
  17. I won't be surprised to see Bortles running as much as TT. In fact, it could be the key to victory for both teams--the QB with the most yards on the ground wins.
  18. Definitely do 716 as the viewing will be much better with that humongous screen. Better get there early too.
  19. This is what makes me proud to say "I'm a Bills' fan."
  20. I bet Kyle was pumped, since he's supposed to be a single digit handicap.
  21. Despite that, he was leading the team in sacks before his injury. He can get you 6-8 sacks/year. Hughes needed to be the double digit sacker.
  22. I dont know about that, it's a poor man's version of The Don's thread...
  23. After we beat the Jags, there's no way he'll be there, and probably won't last to 20.
  24. Saw the stats on espn.com Yes, my main point, what does McD think? Will they try to sign him? I also could see him at SAM with an upgrade at the mike.
