  1. I do not claim to be predicting the future. I stated that that is what I felt would happen based on what I have read. I am not trying to change anyone's mind. This is my OPINION!!!!!
  2. http://collegefootball.ap.org/article/nfl-talk-buzzing-cardale-jones-says-hes-not-ready Plus I have read reports of him taking a lot of time off last season. Sorry can't find a link for that. It does not matter though, I just feel Jones will not be in the NFL long.
  3. THIS is NOT about players gambling. The NFL can ill afford to have ANYTHING look like players or coaches for that matter have any ties or affiliations to gambling. The NFL would go down in flames if there was any indication that organized gambling was INFLUENCING the outcomes of any of the games. Anyone ever heard of Pete Rose?
  4. His work ethic, in college as well as with the Bills.
  5. Why discuss ANYTHING in the off season. Do you think the man upstairs is looking for ideas from us peons who post here? Ha Ha Ha
  6. NO ONE - I repeat NO ONE has said that the Bills would be moving to Batavia, NY. It is just being discussed. Speculating pros and cons. Some people post to the message boards as if someone of great importance is going to read their post and it will influence the course of history. FCOL - y'all take yourselves way too seriously!
  7. I did not realize that you had to be a resident of Orchard Park to attend a Bills game. WOW do I feel embarrassed! Moving the team 40 miles away would in no way change WHO would attend a BILLS game. Moving the stadium from Orchard Park to downtown Buffalo creates logistical issues that would be easier to address with more SPACE and an already easily accessible Thruway. I am not sure why you felt the need to be condescending, it is not a good look on you.
  8. It is not about the drive to the stadium. How many fans would love to bring their camper to the stadium for the weekend BUT THERE IS NO ROOM. Think about revenue gained from having a much larger camper/rv area. If a stadium was built in a much more rural type area there is much more room for SPREAD. That spread would allow to set up roadways to accommodate the heavier traffic than does Orchard Park or downtown buffalo.
  9. LMAO!.... WHICH "demographic" are you referring to as being "too small"? Also, Orchard Park does not support the Buffalo Bills. The entire REGION DOES. Likening a Sports Complex to a high end grocery story is just ludicrous. God know that you need to have more than 20,000 people in a town to support a grocery store - REALLY. Frankly, I really do not care what they do about a stadium but some of your comments are downright embarrassing.
  10. Interesting. Batavia would be an additional 20 minute drive from the Peace Bridge. Undoubtedly, it would be 20 minutes LESS for untold fans coming from most points EAST of Buffalo. Also, just think about the fact that, IF DESIGNED right, the flow in and out of the game could save many fans a ton of time they now spend in stop and go traffic. The sprawl afforded by a more rural location would allow for continued TAILGATING. Batavia, NY might just be a GREAT place for the NEW STADIUM. NOTE: For those worried about having to change the name of the team, there can be a stipulation that the team KEEPS the name Orchard Park Bills. So, you are a Bills Fan just as long as YOUR TAX DOLLARS don't have to support them? HA HA HA HA HA....
  11. You see, that is just superstition. The Bills have simply mistaken turds as clay.
  12. I do believe he will be cut before the season starts. CUCJ
  13. Batavia has lots of OPEN land and is right next to the thruway. Rochester - not so much! I live in Rochester and I would LOVE to see the Bills new stadium in BATAVIA. Also, I think if the Bills move, they should change their name right after the Jets and Giants do.
  14. NO QB @ 10 Wishing don't make it so - if it did EJ would be our guy. This is not the draft to bet the farm on a QB. All that said, I do believe we will draft a QB, but more like rd 3 if there is anyone interesting still there. imho
  15. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I absolutely believe that Jones will be let go.
  16. Here is a link to this years contest https://www.google.com/amp/blogs.buffalobills.com/2017/03/11/bills-annual-schedule-challenge-now-open/amp/ Better play QUICK!!!!! The Schedule Challenge will remain open until Friday, March 31 at 11:59 p.m.
  17. Some people here just can't imagine a small group of individuals having one goal in mind and working together to make it happen. Everyday, people collaborate on business decisions and do so peacably. Many people can actually do this with comparing who's is BIGGEST and who's daddy can beat up who's daddy. This obsession with who's the daddy is just sick. It's like "IF they are not going to FIRE Whaley then at LEAST prove me right by demoting Whaley". "Take all his power away, wack his peepee." In the real world people "play well with others every day". When you grow up you will learn all of these things.
  18. At this point jeffmagic doesn't care who the "Daddy" is just as long as it is NOT whaley.
  19. His passes all seem to be VERY catchable....
  20. Your obsession with THE AUTHORITARIAN indicates that you are either very young or very immature. It is like a child saying "but why" after everything you say. Eventually, the adult realizes that it is pointless to respond any further.
  21. For the Bills to be more competitve in keeping up with $$$ the owners share every week. We as fans go the watch an event (football game). It is a product that makes a handful of men wealthy. After every game, each stadium forks over proceeds from ticket sales to a general pot and that money is shared by the team owners. I think club owner gets to keep suite $$$. Buffalo's share of the pot is dwarfed by MANY of the other teams contributions. I am certain Terry is being pressured to find a way to make a LARGER contribution to the pot. The above is a gross generalization. I am sure others will know the exact details. I had the idea that Terry is holding off the other owners with the "we got to win first" notion. Afterall, we are doing great selling tickets to the perenial losers - but those same fans will not want to pay a lot more money for the same old - same old. In a different thread someone remarked that is was such a shame that finally, the Raiders get a QB and start to win and the team moves away on them. Imaging, the BILLS start WINNING. They start getting not just to the wildcard but more... The team moves to a new stadium down the road... After nearly 20 years of waiting, who is going to walk away? Just asking...
  22. Yes, we could have just kept Fitz. He was REAL good at that sort of thing.
  23. BRAVO - BRAVO - bartender, tinfoil hats all around!
  24. Ha - Anyone with a tinfoil hat can tell he is hiding something.
