Awesome stuff includes shade on a freaking hot day in Miami. They are very poor hosts. I looked it up and Emily Post agrees.

If you don’t realize and appreciate the impact this had on the game, you are either completely ignorant, or you just want to whine. .

Everything went wrong for us, and they won by 2 at their place. I’m not predicting it, but if healthy I would not be shocked if we beat them by 30+ at our place.

Remember when this looked like a killer rough stretch of schedule with a healthy roster? This adds a completely new element. It’s is ALMOST funny. I agree, let them get healthy. Nobody wins a Super Bowl in September or October. Get healthy and peak at the end of the year. We can’t be held responsible when some people just don’t get it. That goes for so many things in life. .

I think you have to decide whether to laugh or cry. 🤷♂️

Time for Beane to "break glass in case of emergency"?

RELAX. This is our first Overreaction Monday of the year. Pace yourselves, it’s a long season. We were decimated by injuries, and still won that game in every aspect but the scoreboard. I know, that’s the one that counts, but our mix of starters, 2nd and 3rd string guys should have beaten a good team on the road in insufferable conditions. Let’s get healthy. We will be fine. . -
They took Cook in the 2nd round and upgraded, or tried to upgrade, the OL. They are aware of the issue. It’s just hard to have everything fixed at the same time with limited draft and cap resources. I think Cook will find his stride in time……but we shall wait and see!

Yep, remember when everyone focused on our blowout losses? “Good coaching staffs don’t let that happen!” Instead of winning small and losing big, we now win big and lose small. We are a good team on a different part of the spectrum. That’s a good thing. I wish it came with a solid, reliable run game that didn’t include Josh. .

I think the close game stat does average out over time, but it stinks when you are on the wrong end as we are now.

To be fair, especially if you didn’t see it, he still says he thinks they are the best team in the league. Don’t lose sight of that. He is concerned about the lack of a traditional running game and the disturbing record in one score games. If you pay attention, you should be too.

The hottest game I’ve ever been to was in Jacksonville. Marcus Stroud had just left the Jags to join the Bills and he said it was the hottest game he’d ever played in. All hot days are not created equal. We watched much of the game in the shade and AC on monitors over the concession stand. We were the last people in our row to give up and go inside, and this was early in the game. It was dangerously hot, and the Bills were rotating the OLine for safety reasons. I don’t know what restrictions exist that would prevent us from providing some kind of shade. If it obstructs the views of fans in the first few rows, too bad. It is a deliberate and unfair competitive advantage that also is related to player safety. It’s not the same as going to Buffalo in December because it’s the same cold for both teams. The stadium design and putting Tua back into the game after clearly being concussed were a bad look for the league yesterday. Period.

The Bills lost yesterday because.... (karma reasons only)

Rookie mistake. Everyone else is off the hook. This loss is entirely on YOU! Don’t do it again. -
NFLPA initiating investigation into Tua’s concussion protocol

Please explain how that makes any sense at all. -
Do you think he is capable of sit, stay, stop typing?

There may be some good combo in there, used in some other way, but I don’t know what it would be doing near a grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich union would strike.

When we lived in Sarasota for almost 20 years (strangely I don’t consider myself a horrible person despite that) we drove down to see the Orange Bowl once. Notre Dame vs FSU, I think. We got off at the wrong exit. I thought we had landed in a third world country and we feared for our lives. I’ve never seen anything quite like it, but I found myself in the wrong part of downtown Philly one time which is a clear “scary #2”. Every city has those areas, some much worse than others. You just have to be careful to avoid them. Miami also has some fabulously beautiful areas. Take the bad with the good. I would move back to Sarasota in a heartbeat. Gazillions of other people agree, based upon property prices. I doubt they are all horrible people. MANY of them have been bright and successful people who can afford to live wherever they want. That is their choice. I don’t judge them or begrudge them. Just like anyone who has wishes different than my own. No offense to many, MANY of the people here, but while I love Buffalo most of the year, I could never live there full time again. I’ve even sniffed around for a summer/fall home there once the wife retires. But not for 12 months. That does not make anyone else “wrong” or “horrible”. You have your reasons, and I have mine. -
Why does Josh vs Tua make me think of the fine cinematic classic that is Bambi Meets Godzilla? .

How many guesses do we get??? -
I’m curious, are you ever embarrassed by your owner? 😋

I meet an old college buddy for lunch about once a month. We go to the OK Cafe and we get a BLT on toasted sourdough bread….and it is delicious! Toasted sourdough is the way to go!

We’ve had more than our share. The last few years we’ve been fortunate, it seems.

On my most recent trip to South Beach I found that I could only order by pointing at the menu…..because I only speak English. And I was the only one who spoke English. As the old joke goes: Do you know the best thing about Miami? It’s so close to the United States! I am all for diversity, but South Beach isn’t what it used to be. Few things have made me more proud than hearing that the Rams had to go to a silent count when we came to visit! GO BILLS!!!
