I was in real estate here in Atlanta for a few years. The nicest (and most expensive) house I was in was listed for $25 Million. It sold for $17.5 Mil…..to a TV televangelist. That made me feel ill.

Because we don’t see very well?

People say SB or bust, but I plan on enjoying the ride. I certainly hope and pray for a SB victory, but it’s entertainment, not life and death. I enjoyed each of our 14 wins last year. Sorry if that isn’t “serious” enough for some, but perspective is important in the big picture.

I’m torn. I like hearing good things about our Bills, but I was not enjoying all the hyper-hype we were getting early last season. It was just setting up some of our local Boo-Birds for the annual meltdown, but to a greater degree. I’ll take a little more “under-the-radar” action next year, with a deeper run in the playoffs.

OK, another* real QB, as in he’s not going to the Jests or the Dolphins.

I just heard Josh Jacobs interviewed at the SB. Asked which locations he might enjoy outside of Vegas, he listed all the tax free states and was openly all about the money. That is a very real consideration. Plus, the Jags have a real QB which helps make a WR coach look better. EDIT: It may be a “mutual decision” to move on, just like the ST coach who moved to Jax, but the tax thing is real, especially for players who have a limited number of years. .

Maybe it’s time to start hitting the bagel store again in the morning for that cinnamon bagel with crème cheese he loves so much? OK, I’ll give you $10 for a toasted bagel with crème cheese. There may be an ointment for that? 🤷‍♂️

How silly! 😋 Does an ant on a hill in South America know we are going back and forth here? I bet I could even sneak up on that ant. Can’t you cover them in chocolate and eat them? Who was the first person to think that was a good idea??? And on that, I rest my case.

I blame @Irv for that! It took longer than the news to get here! I remember “It’s eleven o’clock, do you know where your children are?” My parents thought they had a clue, and it helped them sleep, I suppose. 😋 .

We don’t know what we don’t know….though some of us seem to think they know. A thousand years ago it was “impossible” for man to walk on the moon or drive remote control science labs around on Mars. Yet here we are. What might we be capable of in, say, a million years? I’m not pompous enough to have any opinion on that. The exponential trajectory of our knowledge almost takes my breathe away.

I’m old (but not as old as I feel), and I know people who have done things. That pretty much covers me……

The Super Bowl is largely a corporate event, but market forces still apply. My wife was supposed to attend and schmooze with clients, but she did everything she could to find a replacement and got out of it. It was just cross country travel and working all weekend as far as she was concerned. If you’ve been to one SB (which we have), there is no great desire to attend another, at least for us. .

Oh, just wait until we draft a plug and play 10-15 year starter at long-snapper in the second round! The entertainment value is not just on game days! I met Mitch Morse’s uncle on the flight to Buffalo for the home opener and he said that was his last season as a Bill. Oh, that was TWO home openers ago. I’ll wait and see how it turns out.

It may be in his retirement future. We are new to this, but it may come full circle. My sons were born in the Carolinas. Just sayin’……

You might want to work on that. How long to you plan to allow that to get under your skin? I’d suggest moving on might be the best path. How do you stand on wide right? Music City Miracle? Just trying to get a feel for when you might recover.

I wait until the NBA Finals, then I continue to ignore them. We had about $800 into taking the boys to a game in Charlotte in the middle of the week. About 3 minutes in my scrappy little AAU PG said “they’re not even trying!” Yep. I’m more of a college hoops guy. No lack of effort, at least. They get scrappy!

I don’t miss Sapp at all either. Wasn’t it Faulk who said we needed to address LT when Jason Peters was our best (only?) player? Could be off on that one, but I think that’s right.

Agreed 100%. Having said that, if the person is cleared by his doctors, and he wants to play again, I think it’s his decision to make.
