  1. Sorry to hear you are all dealing with this. What did the Doc prescribe? My mother was given gabapentin for sciatica type nerve pain and it did seem to help.
  2. How many times do I have to apologize for that??? 😋 I had never heard of that, but I can imagine it was pretty awful.
  3. I knew he was unavailable (not a plus), but I thought he was just mediocre when he was playing. Again, just a general impression so I won’t press it. What happens with Baker and a contract has me very curious.
  4. But……did they? Honestly, I couldn’t guess what their numbers looked like, but I don’t remember hearing a lot of WOW about Watson. I could be wrong.
  5. Maybe he didn’t come FAR ENOUGH back, because Flacco feels like he played when I was in middle school.
  6. Oh, I hate it when that happens!!! Anything for attention, I suppose.
  7. Dad? Is that you??? 😋
  8. Don’t worry, it’s OK. We won’t judge you or talk about you……….as far as you know. I’m sure it’s a lovely collection.
  9. Tell the truth, that’s your man cave, isn’t it? 😋
  10. Stuff like this makes me appreciate the Pegulas even more.
  11. It just occurred to me, you could sneak out during your lunch period on a Tuesday, as well. Be honest……. 😂
  12. Hey, as long as that wasn’t Jack Daniels in your thermos, I think you’re good.
  13. Our wisdom would not allow that. 😋 I never had a fake ID, we just went places where people didn’t ask. Most of my friends were a year or even two older, so I just mixed in with them and I was good in a lot of bars when I was about 16. Yes, that may explain some things. Speaking of fake ID’s, a little PSA here: My son bought one for $25 when he was a freshman in college. It’s no joke these days, he was arrested for identity theft outside the store. I’m not sure what all the details are from a legal standpoint, but it was NOT a little thing. EDIT: But the paper licenses were a joke. Anybody roughly like you is such a silly thought now. .
  14. Those are very difficult to catch up to! EDIT: As always, I’d like to remind that it might be a good idea to get the facts before passing judgment. .
  15. My wife does our taxes, then I take it to the CPA who does our taxes. 🤷‍♂️ She was thrilled when I retired because all the self-employed stuff was a PITA for her. I’m not like my father wanting to hold onto the money as long as possible. “Why should I let them sit on my money?” Like it was going to amount to anything meaningful for an extra month or two. If we owe anything, we feel better knowing it’s been paid. The only exception is our mortgage fixed at 2.75%. We are quite fond of our mortgage. 😋
  16. Yeah, that surprises me exactly zero.
  17. They caused him to go to Cleveland and play for that owner??? It starts at the top. I have some friends who are Browns fans, and I feel bad for them.
  18. You have a good plan in place! We always aim for a refund, but we were surprised to find that some behind the scenes stuff caused us to owe big this year. As much as I hate taxes, it’s a good problem to have I suppose. I’m in less of a hurry than usual.
  19. “Jump one more time.” Jon Lovitz came to mind there. 😂 EDIT: Couple’s Retreat reference .
  20. I hope he’s not too concerned that you are thinking about him in the shower.
  21. Which makes me wonder…..did he help create 2 NFL DB’s, or did he look good because he had 2 studs to rely on. 🤷‍♂️ I kid, mostly, because it takes some of both, but that is encouraging news.
  22. Don’t worry, they have Jerruh in the mix to bring it all together and……..up the entertainment value!
  23. I’ve got my SB seat cushions from Minneapolis in the man cave, along with a bunch of those old program covers that have been framed. It had a pocket full of “stuff”. .
  24. Once was great, but plenty for me.
