  1. one retired (Kyle Williams) one injured - thanks Jarvis Landry (Aaron Williams) and one left (Mario Williams).
  2. I think Singletary gets the same number of carries this year as last - with a slight uptick for the games that he missed. I'd put hims at an uptick from 151 carries last year to 175 this year, and Moss having similar carries numbers - with Allen's carry numbers slightly down. If they run 1000 plays this year and rush 43% of the time, that's 430 carries split between Singletary, Moss, Allen, and others - like end arounds to receivers, etc.
  3. You don't recall ball security being an issue last year? Singletary had the worse ball security stats of all eligible running backs in the NFL - he was the worst fumbler in the NFL in fumbles per attempt.
  4. He was bottom 3 in the NFL, and even his touchback percentage (which wasn't bad) was typically at the 15-20 yard line, and he rarely ever pinned anyone deep. He was awful.
  5. Ah so you can be the best at everything in this world, but if enough people disagree with your conduct after your career is over, you lose all your accolades. Way to go conduct police! JFC - activism and moral policing is like sports for USELESS PEOPLE. Reading some of these comments is HYSTERICAL! While we are at it, let's take away all of Babe Ruth's accolades because black people weren't allowed in the MLB then. Our country is a bunch of whiny tenderfoot babies who have super sensitive feelings.
  6. The issue is that we just don't know if he's ever going to be an accurate (enough) thrower of the football. We've all golfed with those same guys for years who no matter what they do - they just can't stop slicing and they don't ever break through their ceiling. Allen could have EVERYTHING else but simply lack the coordination and touch to deliver the ball where it's supposed to be. He has all the other intangibles - he's beloved in the locker room, he clearly has mastered dealing with the media and saying the right things, and he's super competitive and fiery. He has a way of exuding a lot of confidence without sounding like a douche (opposite of Cam Newton) - and he is a dream with the reporters. He takes responsibility and doesn't assign blame to his teammates and coaching staff. He's not flashy or materialistic, so that blue collar work ethic/appeal is always there. Super strong arm - but has those head scratcher throws occasionally where he airmails a target by 15 yards. The thing that has Bills fans all fired up and optimistic is that he's really still a baby in his overall development. He never had the experience of being Baker Mayfield at Oklahoma with all that NFL talent. If he can improve his accuracy only marginally, he could win a few SuperBowls/MVPs.
  7. Yeah but wouldn't the Dolphins still be better with Minka Fitztpatrick and Laremy Tunsil? Remember, addition by subtraction is still pretty garbage.
  8. Had a bit of a daydream about this the other day. Brady finds a new way to cheat (or teaches the Bucs how to). He gets to the Superbowl (again) The Bills get to the dance and play the Buccaneers. Midway through the fourth quarter, as the Bucs sound guys have once again kept Brady's helmet audio on for the entire play, Brady is hit in the lips with a ***** that is more slender than he prefers, but slender enough to get past the face mask. Of course, it was thrown by a Bills fan who had to smuggle the ***** into the stadium by hiding it in his friend's ass (who happen to be a Pats fan - but not until 2001). The Bills come back with no time left on the clock on a laser from Allen to Diggs. I name my son Josh. Could happen. Seriously, wouldn't that be the most Cinderella thing ever? Has there ever been a better redemption in sports history? Maybe the Duke Blue Devils knocking off UNLV back in the day in a game they were HUGE underdogs in.
  9. You remember something someone said about you on an internet message board from September? Why?
  10. He's a rookie, he can go from useless and terrible at blitz pickup to amazing at it with some experience. Give it time
  11. I've been to 4 of the last 5 Bills games at Gillette (I live near the stadium) and honestly, it depends on how nice your seats are. Sit in nice, expensive seats and rock your Bills gear and you get treated well) - sit with the farm animals in the nose-bleeds and you'll get treated like you're in a barn by a bunch of drunks.
  12. Isn't he also still a second year QB? Does anyone remember the 2015 version of Nick Foles? An offensive coordinator got hot with Foles. Greg Roman (who we all know is limited) is HOT right now with Lamar Jackson. Foles had 25 touchdowns to 2 - that's right, only TWO interceptions in a season with a hot offensive coordinator. Let me remind you that Foles was just benched for Gardner Minchew. Lamar will come down to earth, and when he does, there will be flashes of LAST year's playoff Lamar Jackson.
  13. I'd like to carry Rex as high as his ego, and throw him all the way down to his football IQ. Fat would splatter.
  14. Crazy to think that over the Thanksgiving holiday, Peyton was dead and Brady was making history. A few weeks later, history has a new toy. As a rabid Bills homer, my wish is that Payton wins another championship, and silences all that GOAT (greatest of all time) talk about TB12.
  15. They all hurt equally (the losses) - in the standings... Bengals and two losses to the Patriots didn't sting as much as the losses to the Jags and Giants, though.
  16. I watch the game because I live in Patriot land, and I have good, high dollar seats to the game. I'll be there in my Bills gear and will have a blast. No, I don't expect the Bills to win and I'm sure I'm subjecting myself to good natured ribbing if they lose - but it's not like I'm at Gillette as a Giants fan. The Bills haven't even been a Patriot rival. You have to lose less than 90% of your games in a decade and a half to be considered a rival. Most Pats fans just react with pity when they see me at the games wearing my Bills jersey. It's sickening but I still have a blast with my friends at the game.
  17. The Jets (like we were a month ago) are about TWO - yep...TWO major injuries away from being worse than us, and we would immediately be a better team than them. Give me any combination of 2 out of 4 injuries to Revis, Marshall, Ivory, or Richardson. Two of those 4 go down and everything tips in our favor. If we are at 100% health, or close to it...and they lose any two of those four (very possible) guys - then we win.
  18. True, but if we only get 3 on this drive, we might need a turnover to gut this one out. Would we pretty crazy if that missed extra point hurts the Jags
  19. Bottles - real arm EJ - no arm In that last batted pass by EJ - a slight step either way is required to keep that from getting batted. Same as the pick 6 by Watt last year at Houston - good quarterbacks move a half step or so to get the pass through. The best even change their arm angle, like a sixth sense about where the hands on the defense are going up. EJ is clueless how to move around - he was the same at FSU. Hasn't changed. He's about as good as he was as a sophomore at Florida state. No better. No worse.
  20. What dream world are you living in where 21 points is enough when your offense couldn't flip field position for 30 minutes? The inept offense kept repeatedly giving the Bengals a short field. The posters on here that keep using obscure stats to make excuses for the offense and their garbage quarterbacks need to put down the pipe and look at things objectively. If your offense punts from its own end zone repeatedly - that's not a defensive issue. It's 2015 - nobody wins with 21 points - not with any consistency anyway - unless they are able to avoid the 3 and outs. Give Buffalo 21 points while giving the opposition a LONG field and it might start being enough.
