  1. Would you pick at 12 and at 19, or package the two picks and try to trade up? Not sure how high we would get but for example if it was Amari Cooper or Randy Gregory?
  2. I read that he said last week he hasn't given up playing baseball and might want to do both. Maybe trying to light a fire underneath the negotiations?
  3. We got the Bills cover in Cleveland! Cbus is so golf obsessed, not surprised you had Spieth.
  4. If he falls to 12, I hope the Browns don't take him. I don't trust him, and we have enough issues with #2.
  5. Well we were hoping you wouldn't be that good and we would be picking in the top 10. NOT fair! Hahaha. Just kidding. I am tired of debating who the Browns should take at 19 with Browns fans so thought I'd ask the original owners of the pick who YOU think we should take! I would list our "needs" but we have holes at pretty much every position. Probably the one area we look decent is in the secondary, though I don't have high hopes for Gilbert to take hold of the other CB spot across from Haden and the guy they signed from GB is past his prime. Also, Grimes is gone. RB is OK too. OK - you are on the clock! Who do you think will be there at 19 that would be BPA for the Browns? P.S. This is the best NFL fan message board out there. It isn't even close! P.S. Part 2 If you don't want to talk about the Browns I apologize. In the past, you all have been so knoweldgeable about all teams, not the case on other boards. I thought since it is your pick anyway, you might have ideas. P.S. part 3 Is there anyone the Browns could pick at 19 this year that would make you regret the trade? I am guessing the answer is "no" but curious.
  6. Gotta love fan bases who have irrational hate for their own players.
  7. :doh:But, our only QB on the roster is 6th rd pick Connor Shaw. Desperado.
  8. Not only is he not starting caliber, he's past the point of "developing" into anything other than that. Supply and demand of QBs is out of control that teams want this guy to play for them.
  9. I'm praying the Bills sign McCown. Mainly so this EJ thing has a chance to happen, if true. Finally some hope for Browns fans.
  10. Had to come check this out. The EJ getting cut rumor has been picked up by the Browns message board, with a link to this board! The radio guys yesterday were just talking about trying to trade for him if the Bills traded for Bradford. Never though he would be available if they didn't have an actual QB to replace him. Has this been verified anywhere else? I'd be ecstatic. With all due respect, my brother works for the SD Chargers. None of that is accurate (no pun intended) though I can see how believing it might make you feel better if your team did something like this.
  11. What about from the neck up? Troll. Gordy Gronkowski lives in Cbus and they interviewed him on the radio, and he definitely has a Buffalo accent. He owns the Fitness Store there. He said there is a possibility that Gronk will do the Bachelor.
  12. I'm not sure. Our stadium was publically funded - I will need to look that up. OK - I looked it up and I don't know i I am looking at the right list but it shows avg initial ticket prices per team for 2014 and we were LAST. $146.53 http://blog.tiqiq.com/2014/04/2014-nfl-tickets-team-team-average-prices/
  13. Browns also increase ticket prices, lol. Same week as the WR is suspended (again), QB enters rehab and Text-gate! Sign me up for more!!
  14. I thought he would look better than he did. It was the second time I really watched him play. Lots of short passes. OSU handed him 4 turnovers and he only got 10 points. Saw him in the Rose Bowl and National title game and in both games the other QB looked like the better pro prospect. He threw for a lot of yards against OSU because they couldn't run the ball. I do remember the egregious drops, though. What do you suggest they do? Become Stillers fans like Dr. Trooth?
  15. Exactly. It is hard to have any optimism when the ownership is like this. We used to make fun of the Bengals because their owner is cheap and that they would never be good as long as Mike Brown owns the team. Haslam is so much worse. There just really isn't any hope because of the owner and his track record of terrible decisions and ridiculous meddling in football operations. He could have gotten a 2nd rd pick for Gordon last year and nixed the deal! It's not just the roster (though that is terrible too) it is the overall atmosphere of the team. No one wants to be there, coaches or players. Their best player is out for the year, again and maybe gone forever. Their 2 first round picks were complete disasters on and off the field, with one in rehab. The OC showed a power point presentation to the FO of all the reasons why he wanted to leave! The only QB on our roster right now is a 2nd yr 6th rd pick. The GM is texting the QB coach during the game about playcalling and personnel decisions. Even if what LaCanfora wrote isn't 100% true (as some fans want to believe), he spoke with enough people, clearly, to provide the pulse of the organization. No matter who they hire as GM or coach, its always an uphill battle because of the ownership in place.
  16. I guarantee the Browns would trade a fairly high pick for EJ Manuel and Leodis McKelvin.
  17. Since I am female can I ask this question - is Gronk supposed to be attractive? It seems like guys like he and Johnny Manziel are portrayed as being these young, good looking guys who party. Both are trolls. imo. And why does he always run around with his tongue hanging out? He annoys me greatly.
  18. I think RG3 has a chance to come back as a really good QB in the right offense with the right components in place. He is definitely worth trading for, in my opinion.
  19. I think Revis would make the Bills better because of the defensive scheme you will be running. If you were looking to add him to the Schwartz defense, I would say he isn't worth it.
  20. As a Browns fan I am not sure there is any other team that has been as bad for as long, especially not the Bills. While the consistently successful teams may look down on teams like the Bills, I don't think they should anymore. They have been pretty good recently and now are trending toward being really good. They are always competitive, and have been stuck in an unwinnable division with the best QB of ALL TIME for 15 years. It doesn't matter whether they have or haven't made the playoffs in a certain number of years because they are now a team no one wants to play. They are moving in the right direction, and the Browns are moving in the wrong direction. It is unfortunate but true. I will still support the Browns because it's not a switch I can turn on and off. I will still go to the games and cheer for wins. But the organization is embarrassing and it starts with the owner. And that is not something that can be changed. If only it were that easy.
  21. WUT. They have a guy called Beast Mode and a QB who can run and they throw a slant from the 1 yd line with 26 sec left to win the SB? They were more worried about giving the ball back to Brady. They played scared and deserved to lose the game.
