I guess I'll first off with home team win percentages are back up to 56%(55.6%) this year, which is where they were prior to 2018 as stated in the article above. The info you provided I'm sure is all true, but those stats are for the regular season, not playoffs. Teams like the Texans aren't going to be in the playoffs, who are going to finish 0-7-1 at home this year. Generally playoff teams have a better home record than teams that don't make the playoffs. As I said above the home team has won 55.6% of the time this year, when you include just teams that have currently clinched a playoff spot the home team's win percentage increases to 77.5%(62-18).

This is what I was going to say. If 1 and 2 get a bye, 6 teams would play 3 games which gives you 3 winners and leaves you with 5 teams left. You can start the playoffs with an odd number because factored in is the 1 seed gets a bye, but no round afterwards can end with an odd number of teams. Unless the 1 seed were to get 2 byes, but that's going overboard with the byes.

Mahomes vs Allen or Mahomes vs Burrow

And this right here is why I want Josh as my QB. Because to him it isn't JUST a game, it's about bringing a Lombardi home to the City of Buffalo. And that is something to get all excited about. I'll take Josh's edge over Joe's Kool any day of the week. -

At no point was I talking individual. plays, so I don't know where the superman stuff line is coming from. And also..........God shoot me if that becomes our offense. No thank you, a very big pass. Josh is going to Canton also, 1 hurdle at a time.😉 -

Yet you're whole premise is based on individuals and not teams, yes? Therefore you have to be able to discuss individual success or failures in this thread. Holy crap. Hypocrite much? -
Mahomes vs Allen or Mahomes vs Burrow

You keep making their SB run about him. Go rewatch the 4 games and tell me what you see. A team carried by an opportunistic defense and a fg kicker who went 14/14. The defense had 10 sacks, 8 ints and a fumble recovery in 4 games. Heck Burrow's best game in the playoffs(vs the Raiders) is about what Josh averages in a playoff game. Puppy my arse, only if it's a pit bull. On top of that you have to ask, should he even have been in the SB in the 1st place. Let's not forget the blown call in the WC round against the Raiders where they got the deciding td on a play where the ref blew the whistle in the middle of the play and half the players quit playing thinking the play was over. By run the ball is supposed to go back to the los and the play reran. Instead they got an unearned td. -
Mahomes vs Allen or Mahomes vs Burrow

Neither is asked to carry the weight Josh does for this offense. Going into the Chicago game in week 16 Josh pass or ran for 87% of all the tds scored on offense and had 81.5% of the offenses total yards. The thing with Burrow is, if he couldn't be consistent with the best 3 weapon combo at WR in the NFL, then I don't know when he could be. They also both have former OCs for HCs over Josh having a former DC. That's a big advantage for those 2. The guess the question is could Mahomes & Burrow be as consistent if they had to carry the same workload, including the runs and doing so for a former DC as HC? -

How much exactly is Burrow and how much is having 3 unbelievable weapons at WR. Diggs is awesome, but Josh doesn't have anything close to what Burrow has. Yet their passing stats are really close and then you have to account for the big difference in Josh's rushing stats. Either way what I'm saying is Josh would have alot, lot better stats throwing to those 3, a far better OL and having a former OC for a HC. Burrow has all the advantages yet is only even at best. -

The Chiefs wouldn't have only scored 7 tds on 21 scoring drives either. Because Mahomes is far better than that. Just for reference Buffalo scored on 12 of 16 drives in the playoffs last yeat. All of them ended with a td. A 75% td rate for a playoff season. He threw almost twice as many tds, in half the games Burrow played in(9 vs 5). Do that and then he'll be mentioned with those 2. Don't be carried by your fg kicker in the playoffs. But we get it, you love Burrow. Cool.😎 -

He was unfortunate last year to follow the greatest playoff game ever. But besides that, I find it very foolish to say he isn't talked about. There's been plenty of discussion by the media this year about Burrow. To the point that the last month or so they haven't shut up about him. In that regard it took Josh years getting to where here is now, from a media coverage & respect standpoint. Gotta earn it and it takes more than a year to do so. Coming into their game I was looking at their playoff run. 4 games, 5 td passes, 21 scoring drives, but 14 end in fgs. One could make a very compelling argument that McPherson was their MVP of their playoff run last year, not Burrow. -

So all we're going to get is 2 safeties? -
They missed one. Last year's playoff game, one was tossed on the field after Bourne's td.

Nope. I would've tried harder and given an explanation, but I tried in my response like Clowney tries in a football game.......with not much effort.✌️

I know there's not alot out there to choose from, but I'd be hesitant of giving Lamar big money. Since he won the MVP, statistically his passing has fallen off a cliff and you have to start wondering can he make it through a whole season. He's played 2 full games in Dec/Jan in the last 2 seasons and was injured very early in 2 others. Both years the Ravens were leading their division when he went down. He can’t help you win a Super Bowl if he's missing the last 4 games of the year and almost another complete game, like the last 2 years. His December & January in 2021 & 2022 are almost identical. Is this just coincidence or is his body already breaking down due to all his running and/or workload? When I think of what my franchise QB is going to give me at the end of the season to try and win a title, I don't envision 693 total yards 2 tds & 1 int total in our last 12 Dec/Jan games. His passing stats over the last 2 seasons ~210 yards per game 33 tds. 20 ints. Is that a $45-$50 million a year QB?

Denver brought them down to the wire on 2 out of the last 4 weeks. A month ago they almost overcame a 27-0 deficit and lost Wilson to a concussion in the 3rd quarter. Lost 34-28, but had 2 drives on the 4th with a chance to take the lead.

I've never been more proud to call myself a Bills fan than I have been this week. We all knew this team was a close knit team, with tremendous leaders on all levels, but the class, grace that's been on display these last few days has been both outstanding and uplifting. From Coach McDermott to GM Brandon Beane to our QB, Josh and everyone else, again all I can say is wow. What happened Monday night put this team at the center of attention at least country wide, if not world wide. And boy did they deliver. I think everyone got a glimpse of who this team is and what they're about. And the guys who were front and center delivered in a big way by being themselves. From top to bottom this team is in such great hands. #3 DID WE WIN GO BILLS!! GOD BLESS THE FIRST RESPONDERS

I as well. I haven't prayed since I was a kid, but when there was no big improvement through Tuesday afternoon, I just felt I had to and I'm glad I did. Sometimes events happen that are just bigger than your own personal beliefs and convictions. If there is indeed a higher power, thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️ #3 GO BILLS!!
