  1. Whether right or wrong. A tragedy you witness, hits you far harder, than a tragedy you're told of. This will always be true.
  2. Damar's Chasing M's charity just hit $7,000,000. Wow is all I can say.
  3. Though it wasn't much, statistically that game is one of his two best games he ever played(only 2 over a 100 QB Rating) 5/10 57 yds 1 td 0 ints
  4. Saw this earlier on Facebook. He hit the nail right on the head. Perfectly said.
  5. I'm in agreement with this. It seems like the right thing to do and a good way to honor #3.
  6. Maybe. Or maybe it's....How scary for you!🤷
  7. I like how you think!!😏
  8. We would still need to beat the Pats and Bengals. I don't think the players want to go back to the "scene of the crime" so quickly. Doing so a few weeks into the playoffs, would at least give them the extra time to process everything that's happened. And not give everyone else in the AFC playoffs a bye week that we don't get. Jmo. In the end it probably doesn't matter either way. They're either going to come out like gang busters and crush everybody or extremely flat and lose.
  9. Give KC the 1 seed. I rather that than give 12 out of 14 playoff teams a bye week. I'm not one bit scare of going to KC in the playoffs. Bad coaching for 13 seconds is the only reason KC was able to win 1 out of the last 3 there. Monday night was not their "off week" far from it. That was far more draining than any other game they've played in their careers.
  10. I agree. Monday night was far more draining than any other big game they've played. On top of that, it wasn't a home game, they traveled. Albeit a relatively short distance.
  11. Well said JGMcD2. I 100% agree, he's faced so much this year that even though we were favorites to win the Super Bowl, I believe he should be a favorite to win COY honors. This team doesn't always play the smartest, but you can probably count on only 1 hand the number of times this team didn't show up and give maximum effort during his time here. That's one of the things he's great at, consistently getting great effort out of the team. For all the complaining that has been done about him(some warranted) and even though we all knew he was a good, solid leader of men, I don't think any of us knew just how great and strong of a leader he really was until this year. He absolutely is and was the right man to lead the Buffalo Bills. I always liked McDermott, but this past year I've grown a new level respect for him. He's exactly where he's supposed to be.
  12. The backups are people too. It's still not for you to decide, your acting as your opinion(And it is an opinion) is better than anyone else's. Pegulas would pay all staff working the event, I think we both can agree on that. And after the generosity we've seen this week, if the game was canceled you don't believe people would come out and support local establishments so they would still get their money? Stop the people of Buffalo surely would.
  13. Every single person responds differently to a traumatic event. Some will he fine, some will not. But to sit here and say this is the correct way and that way it's not, that's not for us to say. And this is just my personal view.....It's nobody's business what the players mental health is, except the team and the people they are close with, you need not worry. Then why are you watching the "elite" play a kids game? And spending time on a forum talking about the "elites"?
  14. None of those things were witnessed first hand. It's far worse to witness something tragic, than to be told something tragic happened. That's a fact.
  15. You'd be a terrific spokesman for mental health awareness.👍
  16. I will support the team in either direction they choose. They are the ones that know him, played with him and witnessed what happened to him. It's up to them and no one else. For me if they didn't want to play it would be more about the trauma they went through seeing everything unfold, not the fear of a once in several million time injury in the NFL. That maybe there, but they are also aware that what happened to Damar was equivalent to having a winning lottery ticket, just the wrong kind of lottery.
  17. All-time probably not, because of the real early days of the NFL would save if. But over the last 45 years he has the lowest QB Rating of anyone with at least 130 attempts. Which currently stands at 32.2. He's the only QB with a rating under 39. So you're correct he's not the WOAT, he's the WITL45Y.
  18. The 2 seed would still be in play though. They would rather play Buffalo in Cincy than on the road here.
  19. Sauce needs some help. #Respect EDIT: Also donated $5,000 to Hamlin's charity about an hour ago.
  20. I agree and was thinking the same thing. Just forgot to add it at the end of my post. Unless he wakes up and is perfectly healthy, I say till the Super Bowl has been played.
  21. If I was a betting man I would bet a #3 patch will be on every jersey or sticker on every helmet in the league this week. That and probably a moment of prayer for Damar
  22. Normally I would agree, but with this act of kindness, I will give him a pass. Others with alot of money donated, as of this moment he's donated the most. I can appreciate that and do.
