  1. Once October ended last year, so did Cole having Cole type games. He was below average after that. The beginning of November is not the end of the season and 2021 proved to be his final complete year. Last year's 1st half of the season Cole Beasley looked far different than 2nd half of the season Cole Beasley. I'm glad we didn't bring him back for the whole year, I don't think he would've made it the whole year, but equally as glad they brought him back for the final stretch of the year. A no lose situation for both.
  2. Yeah it's hard to decipher your response from mine, not sure why you did it that way. So opposing defenses are doubling Diggs AND Gabe while still covering McKenzie, Knox and either Singletary or Cook, while devoting a guy to spy Josh? That's 8 defenders right there, so teams have only been rushing 3 people? We both know that's not true. Not saying he never gets doubled, but that not even close to the norm. Yes we have been spreading the passing offense out, for exactly 2 games. Of the players you listed, half caught their only receiving td in the last 2 weeks, Knox has caught 3 of his 5 in the last 3 weeks. We've just started to spread it out, it’s been far from that for most of the year. What does Derrick Henry have to do with receiving? And you're streeeeeetching it just a bit to bring up a 2-3 game slump by Diggs vs 10 games for Gabe. Diggs has plenty of big games this year and has been do it since he got here. One is a proven commodity, the other isn't. One is top 3 in the league even though he gets doubled, the other isn't. Lastly, I mentioned nothing about Gabe’s speed, I said deep threat because up to and including the Steelers game this year he's had a knack for getting open deep alot based on the number of snaps he's played in his career. He's been our deep threat till lately. My comment had nothing to do with his speed. But the long passes have dried up the last couple of months also.
  3. You must not have heard, Chris Simms thinks Tre has been no bueno. Don't think that was a compliment towards Tre. Better find a different CB to complement!!
  4. Despite his 800 yards, I don't see Gabe’s year as a success, at least not as successful as I hoped. I had hoped that Gabe could establish himself as a big enough threat so teams couldn't roll coverage towards Diggs or at least make them pay for it. Or stop defenses from using a defender to spy Josh. Neither has happened to date. I think in part my disappointment comes down to he has so many advantages that most other #2 WRs don't have. 2 less defenders to worry about(extra guys assigned to Diggs and Allen), a pass happy offense to play in and 1 of the top QBs in the league to sling him the ball. He literally only has to beat the guy covering him on most plays. With 2 defenders assigned elsewhere there's little help to offer DBs covering him most of the time. I would call him a boom or bust WR. The Steelers game was awesome, but he's not going to get many 3 catch, 171 yards & 2 tds games in his career. His game against them accounted for over 21% of his yards and over 28% of his tds towards his yearly totals. His best 4 games(Rams, Steelers, Chiefs & Vikings) account for 426 out of his 799 yds and 5 of his 7 tds. He only has 373 yards & 2 tds in his other 10 games. His catch rate is bad, really bad, like 154th in the league bad. Alot of people on this board are on McKenzie for not catching the ball, somwtimes rightfully so, he ranks 60 spots higher than Gabe. Imo his true position is a deep threat #3 WR in this league. Unfortunately not what I was hoping for or expecting. Still a solid WR though.
  5. From nfl.com. Hey someone actually picked us to win!!😊 https://www.nfl.com/news/week-17-nfl-game-picks-2022-nfl-season
  6. I think we can pass on Cincy come Monday night. Outside of 3 games, the Bengals haven't played any other good passing teams this year, #24, #13, #15, #2, #28, #16, #31, #29, #22, #24, #30, #1, #22, #4, #21. That's a whole lot of bad passing offenses and 1 of their 3 games against a top 10 passing team, Tua got concussed in the 1st half. Knox could be a big factor, he's been used more in the pass offense of late and has a 20+ yard catch & a td in each of his last 3 games. Plus in 7 or 8(can't remember) games this year a TE finished 1st or 2nd in receiving vs Cincy.
  7. Each offense scores 5 times, Buffalo's defense holds the Bengals to more fgs. Bills - 31 Bengals - 23 GO BILLS!!
  8. Their current win streak sits at 6, not 7. Cincy has won 7 in a row, the 49ers are at 8 in a row.
  9. Why would the 1st side think we our defense flops and can't stop elite QBs? Here's some facts: 4-1 against top 10 offenses this year and 3-1 against the top 5(3 of them on the road). Beat Mahomes in KC and held the Chiefs to 9 points below their season average. While Mahomes did throw for alot of yards, he had as many ints as tds, including throwing the game sealing int late in the game. Buffalo is 4-2 against QBs in the top 13, loses coming against Tua & Cousins. As for the offense, Buffalo is 3-1 against top 10 defenses this year, 3 of them were also on the road. Most think Buffalo can't run the ball well, but they rank 8th in rushing and 10 of their 15 games this year have come against top 11 rush defenses. #2, #3, #5, #6, #8, #9, #10x2, #11x2. They topped 100 yards in all those games and went 8-2. The 2 losses, both on the road, by a total of 5 points combined. Josh Allen...Nothing more to be said, besides hands down the most important player to his team and it's not close. I think the weather the last 5 quarters has helped Dorsey to find his way. It forced the Bills to ramp up the rushing game and the offense has responded rushing for 353 yards in those 5 quarters. A few others, Buffalo is now 7-1 against teams with top 15 rushers. They are 5-1 against teams with a top 12 pass rusher, including a game where they faced 2 in the same game. They are well above .500 against every type of team and player they've faced this year and are as battle tested as any Bills team in at least 3 decades. This 1 game, win or lose, is not going to indicate who this team is. It's 15 games into the season, if you don't know who and what this team is I would question what you've been watching and have you been paying attention. Resilient, gritty, competitive as hell, workman like, confident, but not cocky, humble, on task & a blast to watch. These things come to mind for me and I'm sure there's others I can't think of at the moment. The team that holds the other to more fgs vs tds comes out on top this week. Bills win Monday night, each offense scores 5 times, 31-23.
  10. IT'S 4TH DOWN, KNOCK THE BALL DOWN!! I still remember yelling this at the TV.😂
  11. I would've probably agree with you had the Broncos not fired Hackett. I think that changes the attitude of the players going into this game. Hackett was a disaster as a HC. Players will want to put good play on film these last 2 weeks for the new coach to see. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's an uphill climb for the Broncos, but the defense gave Mahomes fits at times 2 weeks ago and good defense travels.
  12. I don't think they were resting Willis in last nights game. I think if Willis was going to be starting against the Jags, he would've started last night to get some needed experience. I also think they were trying to find a QB, any QB, that could give them a better shot at beating the Jags next week than Willis does. Henry not playing hurt the offense and put more pressure on Dobbs to move the ball, it didn't help him in any way. They are starting Dobbs next week, if I had to bet a chunk of money on it, I'd bet on Dobbs. The difference between him and Willis is night and day, especially given the fact he was only with the team for 8 days.
  13. Yes 6+5 still equals 11. . One way it wouldn't require an 11 win streak, beat the Bengals and KC loses to the Broncos. Now before you say that can't happen, the Broncos nearly came back from down 27-0 two weeks ago against KC. The defense picked off Mahomes 3 times in the game.
  14. I don't know, but it sounds X Rated.
  15. Well that outta go over well with Buffalo's secondary.
  16. Alot of people giving Cincy more respect than Buffalo. As I said earlier Cincy's defensive equivalent in yardage allowed is the Rams. They're almost exact, total, passing and rushing yards are all within 1.9 yards or less of each other. If that's the case I like Buffalo's chances even more than I did before.
  17. I will take them being correct on either Buffalo's or Cincy's final score. He just passed for 304 yards 4 tds and added 77 on the ground 2 weeks ago. The first 50 minutes of that game was the some of the best weather he's played in, in a while.
  18. Willis is bad, like really bad. Maybe over time he improves, maybe he doesn't. But for all you who had the Titans protecting & resting Willis vs Dallas and throwing Dobbs to the wolves were sadly mistaken. Dobbs is light-years ahead of Willis at this point. Willis actually had more game time experience entering the game last week against the Texans. He went 14 of 23 for 99 yards 0 td 2 ints and a qb rating of 34.5 Dobbs coming into this game had only attempted 17 passes in his career, the last was 2 years ago. Against a far better defense(Cowboys vs Texans) and only with the team for 8 days, Dobbs went 20 of 39 for 232 yards 1 td 1 int and a qb rating of 67.5
  19. There will be 2 first in the game Monday night. 1 will be for the 1st time ever a team scores 13 tds and the other will be for the first time ever a team will end the game with negative points. BILLS BY 100. Bills: 92* The Kitty Cats: -8 *Tyler Bass strains his calf, after the 12th attempt, from kicking so much during the game. With Bass out of the game, on their 13th point after attempt the Bills decide to mess with The Kitty Cats and perform a flea-flicker from the 2 yard line. 2-Point Conversion GOOD.
  20. Yardage wise the Bengals defensive equivalent looks to be the Rams. Total yards, passing yards and rushing yards are all really close. The widest gap is rushing yards at a 1.9 yard difference. If that's the case I'm feeling a little bit better about this game. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team/_/view/defense/table/passing/sort/netYardsPerGame/dir/asc
  21. If Josh does that will be great for us because he just threw for 304 and 4 tds plus rushed for 77 more 2 weeks ago against Miami.😂
  22. You probably should. It costs a billion dollars more.
  23. It's looking like this one is over, but at least the Titans found a respectable QB to start next week, which is essentially a playoff game. The night wasn't a complete waste for them. I thought Dobbs did as well as could be expected given the circumstances.
  24. I've watched Dallas the last 3 weeks and I don't see this really good defense the media talks about. Parsons is great, but the defense has looked below average over the last 3 weeks imo. And that's with Dallas is getting all the calls.
