Heard somewhere that both injuries weren't serious ( fingers crossed). haha, it was driving me crazy when the announcer kept putting a hard "h" in Bradham. Kinda like Steve Tasker saying "vehicle."

Love the Natalie Wood, James Dean shot as well as the Alien puppeteers and the Life of Pi meets the Niagara Falls Aquarium shot. http://all-that-is-i...es-iconic-films

EJ benched, Orton to start.
ChevyVanMiller replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even if Orton falls flat on his face, I will respect Marrone for pulling the trigger. It's almost unheard of in today's NFL. Most coaches would ride the First Round QB to their early NFL grave. Bravo, Doug! -
I bought Sirius Radio when Howard moved over. I still listen to his show most days when I'm in the car. I'm not much of a fan of the sycophants and "WhacK Pack" stuff ( Though, Bigfoot's manner of speech is highly addictive, it is) but, I think Howard is in a league by himself as far as interviews go. This year alone he has had amazing sit-downs with Paul McCartney, Graham Nash, Lady Gaga, Francis Ford Coppolla, just to name a few. His interviews are some of the most insightful and deep-reaching that most of these subjects ever give. By the way, the recent replay of his interview with Vincent Gallo and the vitriol that the native son has for Buffalo was radio gold. Furthermore, Howard has never been more relevant. By going on AGT and reinventing himself as a tough judge with a heart of gold has endeared him to millions of new fans. He has gone from angry young man to wise elder statesman - much like many of you on this board. RIP Eric!

Maybe the Curse is now passed on to them...

Man, I would have rather clicked on that and saw a pic of the Peter Pan guy. -
Just had to add this piece of info to this discussion. Two days ago Schopp actually said on the air that he would NOT have purchased the Bills if he had the money to do so. Let that sink in for a minute. The #1 drive-time anchor on Buffalo's #1 sports talk station would NOT have saved the team that ensures his employment in this market. He cited the concussion issues with the league as a reason that it would be a bad investment. I think it was heresy, considering that there isn't one true fan of the team that wouldn't have done what Pegula did if he/she had the resources to do so, and the station should have canned him immediately.

Wander is often a guest on Koshinski's show on WBBZ and he's still as sharp as a tack.

My buddy, Country Music Singer Jb Aaron, is singing the National Anthem this Sunday at the game. Jb is a huge Bills fan and is excited to help set the tone for a Chargers beatdown. Check out his audition in the fieldhouse. Sorry, it's an embedded post that's not loading. For those that have FB, here's a link: https://www.facebook...535387303255027 He's going to bring the house down.

Stadium Route Question
ChevyVanMiller replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for the input and suggestions. Bills fans are the greatest. -
Coming in from Northtowns this Sunday. Will be getting a later start than I'd like (10:30 AM). Normally, I take the 219 and get off at Milestrip Rd. I'm guessing that will be packed at the time I arrive. I know some people come in off of the Skyway. Any suggestions for a good route? Thanks in advance.

Time to break out the sweatpants
ChevyVanMiller replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I've only been to Olive Garden for the soup and salad deal at lunch, but I did learn a trick with seating that may help some of you. If there is a big wait, you can asked to be seated at the bar for a meal. The bartender takes your order and they bring the food right to you. I've done it at 2 or 3 different OG's and it has saved me some 45-minute waiting times. -
Can We Listen To Bon Jovi Music Again?
ChevyVanMiller replied to Gisele's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will shun his music until the day I die. Anyone that tries to steal the Bills from Buffalo is an enemy in my eyes forever. -

Multiple Reports : Pegula IS the new owner

I'm at work talking to tourists from all over and sharing the news. many are football fans and they all seem genuinely happy for Buffalo and our fans. What a F**king glorious day!!!!! -
You know, for years we feared that a cash-flush, deep-pocketed, free-spender would come in and swoop up the team and move it to big bad LA or Toronto. It's amazing that in the end the rich cat is one of our own and that he was completely unknown in these parts just a few short years ago. It's pretty surreal, and it's maybe the truest harbinger of great things to come for the ever reviving God's Country known as WNY.

Adam Benigni of WGRZ just reported that a source told him, "Process moving quickly, trust could pick a winning bid as early as tomorrow."

Worst Draft In Bills History
ChevyVanMiller replied to bookeredgerson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Worst draft in Bills history? That's easy - 2015. Seriously though, the 1982 draft was retched. 1 Perry Tuttle WR Clemson 2 Matt Kofler QB San Diego State 3 459 Eugene Marve LB Saginaw Valley 4 1093 Van Williams RB Carson-Newman 6 21160 DeWayne Chivers TE South Carolina 7 4171 Gary Anderson PK Syracuse 8 23218 Luc Tousignant QB Fairmont State 9 22245 Dennis Edwards DT USC 10 21272 Vic James DB Colorado 11 19298 Frank Kalil OG Arizona 12 23329 Tony Suber DT Gardner-Webb -
Finally got around to reading the Sunday paper today and came across this article detailing a new NFL broadcast policy. Turns out games can now be flexed between networks and the Bills road game against NFC Chicago will be on FOX rather than CBS. "When the Bills open their season in Chicago next Sunday, there will not be a CBS broadcast team in Soldier Field. Though the Bills are an AFC team playing on the road, the game will be carried on Fox. It is part of the NFL’s new cross-flexing policy, in which the league can move games between the two networks in order to balance the TV lineup of desirable games on a given Sunday." Another game later in the season will flex also. http://www.buffalonews.com/columns/mixed-media/esiason-speaks-up-on-pressure-on-manuel-20140830

I thought this was going to be a thread about what you saw behind Clancy's Bar at closing time. Seriously though, the sport looks pretty cool.

Okay, that actually made me laugh out loud.
