  1. Man.....sometimes we need more than just a "like" button here. We need a "rejoice" button!!!!!!!
  2. Wow.....didn't see that coming, but I'll take it!!!!! Makes me think we have a plan in place to get the guy we want in the draft! Hopefully that's the case!!!!!
  3. If the Giants want some picks back, I know a team picking #21 and #22 in this draft that would be willing to help you out!
  4. "Tyrod Taylor is elite!" "Tyrod Taylor is good enough." "Just keep Taylor and build around him." "Don't draft a QB this year.....let's wait until next year."
  5. Really needed Cousins to go to a team drafting ahead of us, not behind us. Definitely hurts our chances of trading up if he goes to the Vikings.
  6. Look....I have followed this guy on Twitter for years. What I have learned is that like many so-called insiders, you have to take what he says with a grain of salt. However, I will say that I have seen him nail more than one story he has put out. Now, don't ask me to sight examples because I can't remember everything, but I know there have been occasions I just had to shake my head and give the guy some credit. He has hit on some things at least, unlike SaviorPeterman, Dunkirk Don, or many others on here that have claimed to have "sources deep within." That said, he definitely misses a bunch as well. But for some to come on here and say he has never been right is wrong. He has been right in the past on several things, but as I said, he has a ton of misses as well. So, I would take this "report" with a grain of salt as always. That said, it's something for people to talk about because the Draft is way too far away to be sitting here talking about the same things over and over again.
  7. What about 2020? What about 2021? What about 2022? What about 2023? What about 2024? What about 2025? What about 2026? What about 2027? What about 2028? What about 2029? What about 2030? Look, I know at the very end of your post you said we should draft one this year instead of waiting, but to even suggest waiting is an option is awful. But, I know that there are still a few of thise people out there that just want to use our picks and wait yet another year or 2 for a QB. Why can't these realize you can't keep kicking the most important position in sports down the road every single year? Do you ever want to win anything? It's time to start raising expectations around here! Stop settling for below average to average and start expecting to win and compete for Super Bowl Championships!!!!! We've waited 20 years to find our next franchise QB and trying to build a team around a below average to average QBs to try and win and what has that gotten us? A 17 year Playoff drought. How about trying something crazy like getting the 1 player on the field that matters the most and then fill in around that guy? Stop putting everything off! Whatever it takes for Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield! It's time to take a swing and get a franchise guy in here. If you swing this year and knock it out of the park, we are set to compete for Championships for years to come. And you know what happens if the guy we get turns out to not be good enough? There's a Draft every single year and you get to try again! FIND THE FRANCHISE QB AT ALL COSTS AND START EXPECTING TO WIN AGAIN!!!!
  8. Whatever it takes to get one of Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield. Nobody knows who the best QB in this class will be, but it it most likely to come from one of those three. So, if I am the Bills, I find the guy I like the most and then spend whatever it takes to get him. It's time to take a swing. If you hit it, you're good for 10-15 years. If you miss.....or if the guy you get is just average.....guess what? There is a draft every year and you can try again in a couple years. We've been trying to build a team at every other position to hide an inadequate QB for almost 20 years now. The one thing we haven't done yet? Trade up to the very top of the draft for a potential blue chip prospect. It's time to take that chance. Whatever it takes.
  9. 1 year, $6 million is where he should be valued at this point. I might be willing to go a little higher on a 1 year deal after the rest of the off season plays out, but for now, that's where I'm at.
  10. But you won't be trying next year. Heck, the guy may not even play until next year. By the time you know if you have your guy or not, you will have a full bank of picks again.
  11. Stop with this fake link........ It's a stupid "Create a Prank" page. I wouldn't doubt that this is "thebuffalofanatics" so-called "source."
  12. That you should go ahead and just delete your account....... That would make us all wiser not having to listen to you.
  13. Benjamin Allbright‏Verified account @AllbrightNFL #Bills have been calling around, pursuing potential trade partners in the top ten of this year's draft. Presumably for a shot at a quarterback. Been saying it from the start..... WHATEVER IT TAKES. It's time for the everyone to stop accepting below average QB play and start expecting greatness. Whatever it takes to get one of Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield. If it works, that's awesome and we're set. And you know what? If it doesn't......there is a Draft every single year and we can try again. But it's time for the organization to find the guy they want and take a swing.....
  14. I'm sure there are a lot of things I would be interested in knowing in terms of what is going on, but there is only 1 thing i really want to know.... Is there a deal that could be made today with the Giants to move up to #2? Is there a price that the Giants have given us to close a deal today. If so, what is it? At this point, I am ready to do just about whatever it takes to get to 2 or 3. It's time to take a swing at getting a franchise guy in here.Could it be a mistake? Sure, but you know what? If it doesn't work out, you always get to try again in a couple years. It's time to stop settling for below average QB play and start expecting greatness again. Whether it's Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield that you want, take a swing and get up there to get one of those guys. It's time.
  15. Congrats, Frank! Well deserved....... Now, cut us a great deal on that #3 overall pick you have!
  16. Whatever it takes......picks or players...... Just get me one of Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield. I'll find a way to fill in around them. Just take the swing on one of these QBs.
  17. I'm fine with whatever scenario gets us one of Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield. Do whatever it takes to get 1 of those three. Give up what you need to give up and take the swing at a franchise QB. If it works, that's awesome. If it doesn't......you know what happens? You get to take another swing at it in a couple years. You can figure it out. So yeah.....give up whatever you need to to get your hands on one of those guys and go from there.
  18. Tyrod was also telling everyone to vote him to the Pro Bowl this season. In a season he was benched for a 5th round rookie no less. He has a much higher opinion of himself than anyone else that watches him play. It's part of the reason he will never get better or try throws that real QBs make.......he already believes he is a top 5 QB in the league. The guy has no sense of reality.
  19. Get a QB that can direct a competent passing offense and start there. Once we have a guy in place that can carry the team on his shoulders and make big throws in big moments, you always have a chance to win. So yeah.....get a QB and then work toward putting the rest of a championship team together. How long will that take? Well.....hopefully sooner than later.
  20. I will say Philadelphia finally did something that we have been wanting teams to do against the Cheatriots* for years.....PLAY TO WIN THE GAME! Be aggressive with your play calling. Go for it on 4th downs. Don't play scared like everyone else does. Granted the Eagles defense was awful for most of the game, but because they were more aggressive on offense, it allowed them to not only keep up with the Pats*, but beat them at their own game in a lot of ways. We can only hope McDermott was watching and takes a few lessons from the Eagles coaching tonight. Be aggressive and don't look back. If you lose, so be it, but go down swinging rather than playing not to lose.
  21. Have you read this board? There are tons of Taylor apologists on here that think he is good enough. You asked what could be taken away from this game and the answer is a QB that can throw the ball. Even the Tyrod apologists had to see that tonight....
  22. A QB willing to throw the ball on time into tight windows and actually put the game on his shoulders. Tonight was a glaring example of why Taylor will never be a Super Bowl QB.
  23. Wanna bet? I got $50 says he is definitely gone by 25.....
  24. Look.... I like Tyrod Taylor......the human being. Not a fan of him as a starting NFL QB. Honestly, he's the perfect backup QB to have in the league. Someone that can come off the bench and hold down the fort for a few games if necessary. But, as a full-time starter, he's just not a good enough thrower of the football to win a championship in this league. That said, I don't blame him for not wanting to take a pay cut. That's fine and he shouldn't have to. He was given a contract and should't have to give it back. That said, he is not an $18 mil a year QB. I can find a lot of QBs in this league that can throw for 150-180 yards and 0-1 TDs per game. In fact, I bet most of these first round rookies will be able to do that. So, yeah, if I can find a rookie or a journeyman QB that can put up the same stats for bargain contract, why pay a guy $18 mil to do it? So yeah, if he wants to stick to his guns and not take a pay cut, that's perfectly OK. He's earned that right and I respect that. However, I really hope that it's another team paying him $18 mil to play. We know what he is and he's not close to being good enough to win a championship. We don't need to tie up that much money in cap space for an "average on a good day" type of QB. It's time for Bills fans to want better than below average to average. Let's try an get a guy in here that can actually throw the ball and play the QB position in a passing league. top settling for QBs that lead you to a 30th-32nd rank offense and try to find a guy that can potentially be a top 5-10 QB in this league.
